So sweet and sexy! A great and kinky short, definitely worth your time! 😊
This time we have Alec, an experienced sub, suddenly too old for his former jerk of a master.
And Benj a novice Dom with humble background, who accidentally found himself a perfect sub.
It was rather sweet how the two of them were getting to know each other. But it was also smoking hot and deliciously dirty.
Definitely a hit for me :)

In an interesting contrast to the first book of the series, this volume features an experienced 'slave' who needs just two more years of income by selling his services so he can retire. Paired with a 'baby Top' (as Alec calls Benj), the sparks fly in more than a sexual way from the very beginning.
Alec is disappointed and feels rejected because, at twenty-nine, his Master of ten years kicked him out for being too old. Alec is a capable personal assistant, and more desperate for companionship than he knows. Sadly, even kissing is new for him and his loneliness practically jumped off the page. The countdown to freedom (and retirement) is the only thing that keeps him going - at first.
Benj is totally new to being a Top, much younger than Alec and delightfully inexperienced. He has inherited a lot of money and knows what he wants, though, and he is quick to teach Alec that there is more than one way for a BDSM relationship to work. Service and an obedient slave are not what he is looking for and he loves teaching Alec that - almost as much as Alec loves learning about it.
As for the twist at the end? Absolutely perfect! Just what Alec needed to make him feel like he is worth something. If you like to see an experienced bottom matched with a new Top, if you enjoy a situation were two men learn from each other, and if some hot action between the sheets while they figure things out is your thing, you will probably like this book.

I really liked the first part in the Shibari Auction House series and I had high expectations for this one, however I rather felt disappointed. Compared to Jack's story, the interaction between Alec and his buyer doesn't seem creadible at all! They fell for each other too quickly and I couldn't connect to them. That's why I can only rate this book with 2 stars! Hoping the next part is going to be more like the first one!

I enjoyed this one more than the first one, I think. Maybe they're just different (and they are, the dynamics of the couples are). This is very nice for a stress free read, with a smooth ride into the sunset. No real bumps in the road that the couple has to traverse, and quite a few sexy scenes -- the kind that Sean Michael is best at.

Shibari Auction House: Alec is the second installment in Sean Michael's Shibari Auction House BDSM series. It's a short story that focuses mainly upon the two main characters Benj, the new Dom and Alec, an experienced sub. The two young men meet during an auction at Shibari House. Alec is selling his services for two years and Benj is looking for a new sub.
This Dom/sub pair has some problems to overcome from the outset. Alec, while an experienced sub, is unsure of himself after his former Master rejected him. On the other hand, Benj is not an experienced Dom. The two have good chemistry, though. There's an immediate attraction. Michael builds the sexual tension between pair with skill. This is a brief story, but it's not an unfinished story. By the end of Alec, it's clear where these two men are going in their relationship.
Michael is light-handed with the BDSM life-style. Much of Alec focuses on the two main characters getting to know each other, discovering their sexual likes and dislikes. This second story in the Shibari Auction House series continues in the same vein as the first with the emphasis on the main Dom and sub. The auction house loosely connects the two stories. It might be interesting to know more about the Shibari House. For instance, who owns the house? What goes on there when an auction isn't underway?
Shibari Auction House: Alec is worth 3.5 stars. It falls a little short of the bar set by Shibari Auction House: Jack, but it's well worth the read.

This was a good, quick read. I am a hopeless romantic, so anytime there is a hot romantic love story I am in. It was short and sweet and I found the story interesting, especially since I am rather new at BDSM, and the Slave and Master stuff.

I truly felt for Alec and was happy he found a new Master even though Benj was a little new at the whole game.
I liked the characters, but what first started turning me off Sean Michael was that there was actually too much sex.
This story and the one before it seem to be a short interesting premise with a bunch of sex slapped on top and no real depth. I hate to say it but I won't be getting book #3 in this series.
I'm a serious Velvet Glove fan and I like most of the Hammer series, but more and more often I'm giving these books 3 or less.
The story premise is good, the characters had potential to be really interesting and if you like a LOT of sex, then you'll enjoy this book

The second book in the Shibari Auction House series is just as hot as the first, one filled with arousing spanking, teasing butt plugs and frustrating cock rings. Alec's story seems to be more complete, with an epilogue and all. Unfortunately, it felt rushed and the characters' connection to each other and to the reader didn't feel as believable compared to Jack and JF. That special something that held a reader captivated in the first book is missing in this one, regardless, it is still a pleasant read.

The experienced sub/novice Dom dynamic had me uneasy enough that this has been on my TBR list for a year and a half now.
I shouldn't have been uneasy. This was wonderfully well done. Benj may be new, but he knows what he wants. And even after eleven years there are still some things Alec has yet to experience. Delightful story.

This was very sweet. I liked how the tables were a bit turned in that the Alec was the experienced Sub, with Benj being the inexperienced Dom. I fell in love with these two right away and really enjoyed watching them explore things. I really would have liked more of Alec's background to come into play, but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. Definitely wish this one was longer.

A surprisingly sweet story of an experienced sub who ends up with an inexperienced younger Dom. There is a lot to enjoy here with the way the guys interact and how Alec is brought out of his shell to understand that in living there is joy and pleasure - and he is entitled to it. Loved the dynamic and it really worked this length. Nice!

Loved this more than the first one nit because it was less and this more but because you got to see what happens 2 years later. The books are still to short. Booth books had such potential to be deep connecting book where you'd see master/boy relationship grow. But Sean Michaels strength as a writer to mix loving need with erotic kink shines bright even here.

Won't be disappointed great start to the series.
Though this wasn't the first of this series I had purchased, it is no less amazing. The feelings brought out by both Alec and Benji feel real in the it's written. Just a little disappointed in the fact that there is only one point of written though unlike the other novels here we only see Alex's . Well worth the money paid .

In a word, satisfying
The secret to a good book, for me, is how I feel when it ends. I love Sean Michael's books because I always feel warm and fuzzy when they end. This story fit that criteria. I loved the two guys, I loved their story, I loved everything about it. A satisfying read overall.

I liked this book better than the first one in the series. I thought the romance between the two heroes was sweet and nicely done. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!! Hopefully, it'll be longer than the first two books.

A short, sweet, sexy hot series. This one has an epilogue with a lovely HEA. They can be read stand-alone but better when read together as they all take place starting in the Shirbari Auction House.
