Saving the Best for Last

Rate this book
George thought he’d seen in all in thirty years of tending bar. Then Red started coming into his place every Friday evening. She was certainly a creature of curious habit, but he hadn’t given her much thought until she came in after hours one night, naked under her winter coat and hoping to catch him alone.

Sarah had been playing a dangerous game, and she knew it. But she couldn’t make herself walk away without taking a chance on the sexy bartender who’d been pouring the beer and sparing the judgment the past few months.

Eh it was OK. I didn't like it nearly as much as I liked her other book Ink Lust. This one just didn't capture me, I didn't feel very connected to the characters. Maybe because I didn't have time to get connected, it was very short, in fact it was too short for $2.51. It definitely should have been a .99er. But thats my own fault because I didn't pay attention to the length of the book when I bought it. I just assumed it would be the same length as Ink Lust. Oh well my fault.

Way too short. It was a good read if you only need to occupy like 10 minutes of your time so when it says Quickie, it really means quickie.
