Founder, writer and Series Editor of History In An Hour (http://historyinanhour.com), owned by HarperCollins UK, and now author of two novels.

The first, "My Brother the Enemy", a novella, is set during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.

The second, "This Time Tomorrow", set during and following World War One, is a compelling story of war, brotherly love, passion and betrayal.

My third novel, "The Black Maria", is set in Moscow in 1935, the height of Stalin's reign, about love crushed by the machine.

Good overview of Nazi Germany. This book makes you want to find out more details about the events summarized in this digest. It talks about the fall of Germany prior to, during, and after Hitler. To say it was disturbing is an understatement. If you are looking to get a refresher on the subject or want to stay learning more about this era, this is a good book to start with.

Although the title says Nazi Germany in an Hour, It'll take you much longer to get through if you are interested in the time period around the World Wars and the events which led up to them. I found myself constantly looking up additional facts about the people and the events mentioned. The book gives a good overview of the key persons and their background.

One-Line Summary
The formation of Third Reich and how it evolved from an initially moderate organization that is unhappy about the treatment of post World War - I Germany, into the extremist and violent group it was at the start of the second world war.

Spent a lot of my education studying Nazi Germany, GCSEs, A-levels and even at University level but I haven't studied it for about five years now. Nazi Germany is a subject that has always captured my attention because of the brutality it resulted in particularly during the Second World War. Listening to this audiobook was like stepping back into a lecture hall, as they would have lasted an hour as well. There is not a lot of detail in this but I was not expecting that to be crammed into an audiobook that only lasts an hour but it does give an excellent overview which reminded of the vital points to the Nazi Party's rise in Germany. If you are interested in Nazi Germany, or dictatorships in general, or you just want to jump back in, this is the perfect audiobook for you.

It's just what the title says, the history of the Nazi in Germany told succinctly, to be read in less than one hour. This book covers the main events leading to the rise of Hitler along with the Nazi party, the beginning of the second world war and the fall of Hitler.

This book is concise and straight to the point and is recommended to anybody who needs to get the gist of the topic and not worry about the details.

For what it attempts to cover it is excellent. A comprehensive overview of the rise of Hitler, fall of Weimar to WW2. It’s a chronological narrative of key events with some elements of causation and recognition of complexity of issues. It can be a little dense at times in terms of how much is given so quickly; it may be worth a re listen.

This series i quite like to overview or revise a topic. The voice narrator, Jonathan Keeble, is clearly spoken and paced ; easy to listen to.

Informative and chronological, with enough detail to avoid becoming bland. Easy to listen to, well read with a certain flair. Above average.
