I am a new author, self published on Amazon. I was raised in the mid-West, went to college in New Orleans, and I currently live and work in California. My first book titled "In the Dark" is actually the first in a series set in New Hampshire, about a family of werewolves. It is a supernatural romance novel with an ensemble cast of characters. I hope you take the time to check it out, it is currently available only as an e-book but I hope to have print editions available soon. I am also working on the follow up book, tentatively titled "Moonlight". Thank you!

Cover - It is a fine cover, i don't love it or anything but i like that its different from most werewolf book covers (i.e a moon & a wolf)
Favorite Line - "When the end comes, it usually comes unexpectedly"
Favorite Character - David

I normally don't read multiple point of view stories so this was a nice change. I really enjoyed the book & the way it was written. It was really clear who's thought or dialog it was, no confusion like some multiple pov stories i have read.
I liked all the characters & the interactions between them. I was really drawn into the story & i felt like it ended so fast because of this. I would love to read any other books in the series & find out what else happens with them.

I would recommend this book & I will read more by this author.

Wow, I am so glad I did not pay for this book! I've had this on my Kindle for a long time now and finally started to read it. Only three chapters through the book, I closed it and will not even attempt to continue reading it.

The first thing that turned me off about this book was the poor punctuation and run-on sentences. I had to reread several sentences within the first chapter just to understand what the narrator was saying. Commas are important, people!
"As their numbers dwindled because of in-fighting the establishment of the council helped to keep them from killing each other off."

I can look past the grammatical errors, this is a self-published book that I didn't pay for afterall.... And who doesn't make grammatical errors, I do it all the time. I just don't enjoy reading them in published books. This was self-published though, so okay, I'll deal.

As for our main characters:
Marek (and his "brothers" for that matter) sounds just like the vampires from the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. Long hair, close to 7' tall, muscular, tattoed, armed to the max with knives, oozes attitued, wears leather pants and jacket, and finishes off the look with shit-kickers. That is a BDB member if I've ever seen one!
Zoe is a tall, self-assured, not-afraid-of-anything-or-anyone, independent woman. She is also apparently a half-breed wolf and doesn't know it.

Marek and Zoe meet when he saves her life. He falls for her but nothing he does or says really shows that. She is drawn to him for some reason that she does not understand. This would all be fine but the dialog and the descriptions are very juvenile and make me think of high school.
Zoe has absolutely no suspisions about this strange man that makes her feel "off balance" and lets him drive her home and then stay with her because she might have a concussion. She does all of this because if someone saves your life from three armed attackers with no assistance, he must be a good person that you can trust. Maybe I've just watched too many movies where the good guy is really the bad guy, but there is no way in hell I would let any strange man I've never seen into my home at three in the morning, even if he did save my life. Especially when he looks over and asks, "You're not afraid of me are you Zoe?" Umm, CREEPY! (and missing commas again!) Oh, and as soon as they enter her house, Marek starts stalking around checking the windows and looking for "intruders." I would be thinking he's making sure we were alone and I couldn't escape so he could rape and murder me!

Then we get to the part that ulitimately made me put the book down and give up on it for all eternity... After being all friendly and joking and inviting the intimidating hulk of a man that Zoe has never seen before into her home, Marek ignores her quesion about who the men were that attacked her and she proceeds to go off on him. She yells at him and aske who he is and what is he doing in her house(finally! although, I felt like maybe she did have a concussion and seriously didn't know who he was or that she allowed him in her home, but no, she was just ticked that he didn't answer her question.) His response to her tirade is to say "I'm different." to which she responds, "Yeah, no shit!" Take into consideration that there has been ABSOLUTELY NO otherwordly/paranormal type of things happening in this book that would make Miss Trusting think he was different in anyway other than being a total creeper! None at all!!!
After a small amount of dialog which would make any sane woman think she had a mental patient in her living room, Marek says he will show her how he is different but that it might be frightening. After she has him promise he isn't going to hurt her, he begins to take off his clothes. Once he is undressed, he changes into a wolf in her livingroom. And what does this completely normal woman with no idea that werewolves exist do? Not run from the room screaming at the top of her lungs, no, not our Zoe! She says, "Oh, hi." and proceeds to pet the beast that was a man just seconds before.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is the moment I knew I could not continue reading this book. I tried, I read for a few more pages, but the dialog and complete lack of suprise and shock by Zoe was just too much for me. I love fiction, but I need my fiction to at least feel like it might be plausible. Zoe is not plausible. I'm accepting of vampires and werewolves and fae, but I do not believe there could ever be a Zoe in our world!

This was a fun werewolf story. I loved Marek and his brothers they were pretty darn chivalrous. David especially! Some of them also had other senses or abilities that were interesting. Marek could hear the inner thoughts of everyone except his mate. David was hyper sensitive and aware of peoples emotions to the point that it was a problem for him. Zoe on the other hand doesn't even know what she is, until she meets Marek. They have an incredibly strong bond towards each other, almost like a remembering of each other. Romantic and a little insta- love, but it worked for me. Did have to skim some pages. I liked the plot of the story the Hunter's are after the werewolves to annihilate them basically, because they are not human. The wolves in this area had been left alone or unknown of for years, but all of a sudden the Hunters are there in force. Hmmm why is that? Any way it is an adventure with twist and turns, they are predictable, but the journey was interesting and enjoyable. I liked Zoe and how she took over the cooking for the pack, some interesting and humorous moments.

The first 3rd of this book, I thought I had fallen into bizarro-land and was reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood but the vamps had morphed into wolves. Sure, if you read enough of the same genre you are going to see similarities but this was a bit ridiculous. I kept reading it just to see what else would be a near carbon copy. Thankfully, even though the plot were still generally similar, as I got further into the book it didn't feel as similar. The main guys were quite different than any of the BDB guys so that definitely helped in making a break.

It was an average read. If there is only one more book, I'd probably read it but I'm not sure if I'd read a whole series.

When this book first came out I didn't bother reading synopsis the cover is what intrigued me it just looked different hate to admit it but sometimes I read a book based on the cover. As soon as I started reading the book I became hooked. Loved the story werewolves are really in and a turn-on in a way. Zoe's and Marek chemistry was very intense, felt bad for David and Kyle was one of my favorites besides Marek. Of coarse there were some errors here in the book but I stayed focused on the story. Only thing I gotta say is please hurry with the following book can't wait for Moonlight.

I am sad to say I only got 50 pages into this book. I really wanted to like it even ignoring the fact that it's not very original. But it was the flatness of the characters and the constant changing of POVs that I just couldn't take anymore. Also the first chapter it's just full of werewolf history info dumping. I'd recommended downloading the free trial before commenting 3 dollars to this book.

Good, interesting wolf love-at-first-sight story. This was a different storyline from anything I’ve read before and I really enjoyed it. There were many great, likable characters, some heart-pounding action, and of course some steamy romance. The relationship developed extremely fast, but that was explained and the author reassured enough that I bought it. There were a few parts that dragged a bit and a few vulgar words that weren’t necessary, but it was still a good read.

It was ok, It had my attention for the first half of the book and than I started reading it just to see what happens at the end. I'm a sucker "make for each other" romances and I got it from this book. One point I really appreciated was that the two main characters were adults who were clever and intelligent and knew what they wanted, there was no denying them their feelings.

Would I read it again? maybe on a rainy day, If a sequel came out would I read that? Probably not

In the Dark leaps quickly into the world of Werewolves and shows you a side of our other favorite monster you've never met. Greyson manages to do for Werewolves what True Blood did for Vamps, gives them a fun, slightly campy yet always edgy, dark love story. It is a love letter to the wolves and fans alike, giving them the star-crossed tale this rarely realized genre deserves.

I love the whole werewolf theme so this was right up my alley. The whole extra powers thing was really cool and I immediately looked to see if there is going to be a follow up book. The other guys need their own books! Pleasantly surprised, good action, romance, some mystery and great paranormal theme. Will be keeping an eye out for more from this author.

I so badly wanted to love it. The story idea was great but the book was boring. I skimmed to the end. Everything was just too easy for the characters. In the end I just didn't care I just wanted it over with.
