A Frenchman whose family has lived in Cambodia for eight generations stands, in 1969, at the center of a complex, international cast of characters, all of whom are drawn into the maelstrom of a country on the brink of revolution
I found this book after reading both Daddy and Jaguar. Whilst not quite at the same pace as those both, it has a place of its own and offers an insight into the time of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. If you like Loup's writing style, you'll enjoy this.
