After defeating Valentine, Hex thought her life might finally get back to normal -- whatever that meant. Finally with the boy she loves, Hex is done with the world of witches, demons and things that go bump in the night.
Too bad that world isn't done with her.
Valentine is gone, but not forgotten. She hears his voice inside her mind and see his face when she closes her eyes. Everyone tells her it's just bad memories, but Hex knows it's so much more. The demon wants to get back into the human world and he's planning to use her to do it.
Hex soon discovers that Valentine wasn't her only enemy. It's going to take more than luck to save the people she loves this time.
At first this book iritated me. It was kinda drawn out at the boring parts but the action always ended so quickly. I was a little disappointed with how quickly Valentine was defeated and the vague explanation. But then Fiona comes into the picture and I couldn't read the book fast enough. I actually really liked this book. I was so frustrated that there isn't another book. The ending in this one leaves you hanging.
