An excellent book for the pre-reader. Very cute to hear him/her "read" the book. You might want to videorecord it for later.

My two-year-old son likes this book quite a bit, mostly because he could name just about everything in it the first time he looked through it. And he quickly figured out the names of the more obscure things (a blimp, for instance). Now he "reads" it to me at bedtime and is quite proud of himself.

Just right for little eyes and hands -- this board book features a single photograph image per page with the accompanying noun.

Plane
School bus
Bulldozer
Car

and so forth --twenty six in all! Children love identifying them.

Robin seemed very bored by this as the photos are so static/unmoving. She liked another book with more colorful and animated movement (similar subject matter) much more.
