Good overview of a large number of situations ministers face. Found it good that author focused on personal as well as public circumstances, but at times the text did not flow well.

A very informative book. I hade to read it for class. Normally class is once a month, giving me four week to complete each book/class. Because of Thanksgiving, classes were moved up a week, giving me three weeks this month. It was tough, but I finished the book two days before class. Because of this, I plan on re-reading it at a later date and properly study it then. As a result my rating may change. The current one is based on what I think it will be after doing that.

While informative, it isn't exactly the most entertaining read. There is a ton of good info in it though, and I highly recommend it for anyone involved in ministry, especially for pastors.

The book even the updated version was a bit dated. Certainly helpful but there is probably a suitable deeper text on the subject mater

Had to read for pastor class again. Kind of mid because it’s outdated in language about ministry, but overall appreciated it.
