She's only thirteen?! Anyway, this is a text adaption of a script of Romeo & Juliet, so it was meh (Because you're reading a script obviously). But yeah, thirteen?!!!
It is about two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, who live in the same city called Verona, but they are enemies. When the family Capulets organise a masquerade ball, Romeo, the son of lord Montague, and his cousin Benvolio went to it secretly. But when Romeo saw the beautiful Juliet he was in love. The only thing they did not know was that Juliet was the daughter of lord Capulet. The two were head over heels in love, but it was wrong. They wanted to be together and love each other and planned to run away together, because lord Capulet wanted Juliet to marry Paris, a friend of the prince. It sounded too good to be the truth and did not go well. It was a tragic ending for the two lovebirds.
The book reads like a script, you have no details. It was a bit different, but you understand the book well. They explain what is going on. The only thing is that it does not have a happy ending, but it is a nice sign of loving each other and sticking together.
You must read this because it is a beautiful book, and it is a classic. If you have not seen the movie yet, it is even more exciting when you do not know what is going on. I have already seen the movie, so it wasn’t such a shock when I read the ending. Hopefully I convinced you to read the book too and have fun reading it.
Romeo and Juliet, a true classic, adapted to a more easy level for students to read is truely a must-read book. The book itself is written like a stage play, making it more authentic and clear who is saying what. Instead of chapters, the book is written in acts. Everyone has heard the tale of these two, but once you\'ve actually read it, you\'ll feel emotions you\'ve never felt before! At first the book is something to get used to, because of how it\'s written but after that, the story really keeps you up at night. It\'s heartbreaking how much you want the two characters to be happy together even though you know they\'ll never be. You\'ll be furious at both families for being so stubborn and annoying. And you\'ll be surprised when victims start to fall. This book is a very nice way to learn understanding and reading English. The book also contains pictures at the chapter of actors playing the story. It adds life to the book and it gives off a nostalgic feeling. I think everyone should read , or at least try, this book simply because it\'ll change your view on love, life and family.
This is the most famous of all Shakespeare's plays, a story of passionate young love between Romeo and Juliet. A story about how a name can affect so much that it drives young people to do things that they shouldn’t do. i like that it is written as a play, its something different than other books. there is no unnecessary information, this makes it easier to read for me otherwise it might get boring. This is the only book that i really wanted to finish because it read so easily, most likely because it is also thin. Because it is so easy to read it doesn’t take long to finish it, what may be a good thing because then you know what happens between Romeo and Juliet. I’ve seen the movie so i knew what was going to happen, this made it less off a shock because you already know the ending. The story itself is of course beautiful, it shows that you really shoudn’t care about the other ones name or origin but that u only should look at the person itself despite what other people might think about it.
I read Romeo and Juliet, a book from the Oxford Bookworms. This book has 700 words in it and I was very surprised by that. When I took a First look at the book I saw instantly that it was a screenplay. This was something new for me because I had never read something like that. Now that I have finished the book I am very disappointed. The way this story is written I find boring. The sentences are very monotonously and due to the small amount of details in the story, it looks coarsely described. When I was reading I got the feeling that I’ve only got the outline of the story. Even the famouse scene where Juliet says: ‘O Romeo, Romeo’ wasn’t in the book. I think I wouldn’t recommend this book to someone, if you want to read this beautiful love story you could better read the original version or at least a longer version. I understand that the makers of this book wanted to shrink a story so that people can learn English, but I think Romeo and Juliet wasn’t the right story for that. The drama and emotions in the original story made the story just so interesting and compassionate. It’s regrettable that they left this out.

This story is one of the fourth tragedy of Shakespeare. I do not read tragedy often but I liked this story that expresses the feeling of Romeo and Juliet who loved each other so deeply but couldn't accomplished. The scene Romeo and Juliet dies was a lot sorrowful because they couldn't accomplish their deep love forever.
