Here's the thing. I don't believe that God will heal everyone if they ask and trust him enough. I do believe that he is capable. I do believe that he healed many when Jesus was on Earth and his disciples continued the call. I do believe that he will one day take all our hurts away when he takes the soul to heaven. I appreciated the collection of verses on healing. What I doubt is the interpretation of these verses.

This book is a lot of Bible verses with a little commentary. Yes, this is needed for new Christians or for those Christians who don't believe in healing, particularly for themselves and others and possibly have had previous experiences where those who have not been healed after prayer have died and are bewildered. This book belongs to that category of Christian literature called exhortation. It is OK in collating verses and I guess Pastor Prince has a following that would make this marketable but it really doesn't add anything and is not that insightful. Unfortunately, Pastor Prince has not gone into what happens when you pray for healing and you don't receive an answer that you wanted. So what does that say to readers who fall into that category? In this area, Pastor Prince has not been at all pastoral. As I said there are many books that deal with Christian healing and this is rather ho-hum.

Beautiful book inside and out. It fits perfectly in your hand, has a soft feel to it and beautiful font.
Prince uses powerful Scripture to walk you through God's promises to heal. I loved this book because it focuses on God's power to heal, resting in His love and timing.
So often when you are praying for healing you are striving, and trying to make sure you're doing everything right so God will heal you.
We are called to repent, pray, and trust. And when we have done everything we stand, (Eph 6:13).
This is a book to chew on slowly and meditate on the Scripture and his teaching ideas.
I am going to reread, repray it at a slower pace.
If you are someone in need of healing I would also steer you to David Chotka's book called "Healing Prayer." It's my all time favorite book on God's power to heal.

Truth makes us free
This is what I needed! I received the grace message some years ago and truly felt that I was forgiven and free; but after reading through this book I realized there were still roots of guilt and unworthiness. I realized I was holding on to some things of my past and it was keeping me from receiving. Joseph Prince has done it again and God has used his ministry to simplify and make clear the truths found in His Word. I’m so thankful and I pray all will come to know Grace and experience freedom and healing.

Encounter The Healing of Jesus!!!
Healing Promises by Joseph Prince encourages us to look to Jesus as our Healer. Jesus already gave us our healing when he was crucified on the cross. We all need healing in our lives. Prince shows us that we always need to expect our healing from God the Son. By looking at Jesus Christ as our healer, we can have our encounter with the healing of Jesus.

Fantastic
I love reading anything by Pastor Prince. His words are inspired and inspiring, and I believe they are the truth about what God wants for us. He has opened up the Bible to me like no other teacher has ever done.

Awesome book
Life changing and good for hope and faith in one's healing. I brought this book with me to the Cancer center and it comforted me and got me through a difficult time. Love this book.....and I've bought copies for my friends

So good. Basic but powerful. In Joseph Prince style he just lays truth out so clearly.

Provision Promises and Healing Promises are two small volumes by Joseph Prince published through Charisma House. Each one tackles the topic given in the title through five chapters on different aspects of the subject. Let me tell you a little more about them…
Though both books are 250 pages and divided by chapters, they’re not like the author’s mainstream releases. They are printed to be a gift edition size, each one being about 4x6 (inches). With the small dimensions, you could easily read either title in one sitting, keep it in your handbag for quiet moments when your out and about or use it as a devotional at home.
Each book is divided into five chapters and are formatted to have a devotional feel. When you open to a page, verses are written out on the left page and then a short, concise devotional thought on the right side. They are meant to be snip-its of encouragement and not an in depth study. Quite lovely and could be used as a devotional.
As for the topics of provision and healing, all teaching is backed up with Scripture. Like I mentioned before, the subjects are not studied in depth but are meant to be an encouragement. I find that quite appropriate because if a person is sick, they’re not going to have the energy to read a deep study on healing - they just want to know that God is on their side. The same could be said for provision - people in any trouble (financial, emotional or other needs) just want to be reminded that the answer to their problem is out there! That’s what these books did, they pointed you to Jesus and lifted you up.
Conclusion: These books are great for when you need some encouragement but don’t have the time to delve into a full length book. They’re full of information, but not to the point where you feel overloaded when you put it down. Though not marketed as devotionals, they could be used in that fashion...and if you can’t tell, they’re very versatile! Both titles are available in hardback or leather (gift edition) and are good quality. (I have Healing Promises in hardback and Provision Promises in leather). I gave both Healing Promises and Provision Promises five stars because I love how the author encourages you to look to Jesus as the only One who can truly help with the challenge you face.

Interesting book, although I was somewhat disappointed with it after having read Prince´s profound book on grace earlier. This book is really a collection of biblical texts and not an extensive essay on how the Bible deals with healing, which was what I had been expecting. The good thing about this book, is that it puts together all those marvelous texts on healing that the Bible contains and I had never seen together. After reading it, you cannot but conclude that God is a God who loves to cure the sick.

The healing promises of God made simple, because they are that simple. The biggest revelation to me was that the best way to receive healing is through taking Holy Communion. Rest in the FINISHED work of Christ.

This is an excellent book on healing. I would recommend it to everyone. The reading is easy, and quick too, if you don't have a lot of time on your hands.
