I enjoyed reading this book. It showed a lot of sensitivity towards the triggers that react to emotional and physical abuse. I hope to read more books from this author.

This book was exceptionally sweet while still being spicy and intriguing and having some really great suspense and the conflict resolution was pure gold. I absolutely adored it!

This is a Ddlg journey towards the healing of Amelia as she tries to overcome a history of abuse and cruelty. Derek owns a BDSM club that caters heavily towards Bigs and Littles and he wants to be the man to heal Amelia.
Can the two of them overcome all the obstacles ahead for their love to survive or will Amelia's past finally consume her.
This book is very well written and a bit heart jerking. If you have triggers please the forword.

Great read
I love that this book has a focus on boundaries, consent, and safewords. While it wasn't perfect, it's more than one gets in these books the vast majority of the time and I love to see books that have it at all.
The story was healing in a few ways for me personally and seeing Amelia regain her balance through the love and support of not just Derek but her friends was lovely.

Not broken, but strong
Amelia had a rough life, and then she meets her Forever Daddy, Derek. She finally feels good enough to let her Little out. Numerous TW: past abuse (emotional and physical), self-harm, kidnapping.

Great Read!
The story started out interesting and I couldn’t stop reading. There were going moments and suspenseful ones. In all a must read! I hope the author brings back this couple, I’d love to know how her search goes.

Love this book. It is a quick heartwarming read. I cannot wait for Book 2. We were introduced to several Daddies and Littles in this book and I can't wait to read their stories. C. McRae is new to the author scene and her writing is a fabulous mix of spice, intrigue, and love.

Derek and Amelia, I really like their story. This is the first book I've read by seeing McRae and I find her writing is good. I finished the first two books in 2 days and can't wait for the third one to come out.
