Great book about one of the Norwegian Gladiator pilots who went up against the Luftwaffe on 9 April 1940 when Germany invaded Norway. It follows him on his escape from Nazi occupation across Eurasia to Canada where he joins the Free Norwegian Forces. After this he fought in Britain with the Norwegian RAF squadrons and later was a ferry pilot before the war ended and he went back home. This is a unique and highly recommended book that covers the lives and views of these brave men who escaped their country to continue the fight against Nazi oppression.
