This book consists of 32 fifteen minute televised music lessons for children in the primary grades. The lessons invite the students to experience the joys of making music & sensitively listening to music. Children are encouraged to sing along, participate in rhythmic movement, and improvise with words, tunes, & simple instruments. The book presents an appealing variety of songs & instruments, largely selected from our folk heritage. Basic instruction in music concepts is supplemented with materials & experiences generally not available in the classroom.
