I listened to the audio version of this boxset. I've reviewed each book separately and included running times on the audio.
Kate's Crew

This was a pretty good story. Kate and Mike are perfect for each other and their story was sexy and sweet.
Kate is a woman that's working to renovate the house her grandfather left her. Mike and his 4 friends all work together, buying homes and renovating them to sell and then they buy a new house and do it all over.
The blurb pretty much says it all as far as the basics of the story. There's a lot of sex and some romantic drama as Kate tries to figure out if she can have Mike and indulge in more as well. The story ends with Kate and Mike coming together for a sweet start to their HEA.
Overall, this was a good story although there's not much plot as it's high in sexual content and had with lots of dirty talk. Obviously, because of the length, there's not a lot of character background given but I liked the characters and the way things played out. It has a sweet ending to give you a smile to take away. I'd recommend this story. :)

This was a good story. I liked Morgan and Joe and their story was short but sweet with loads of sex.
Morgan is a friend of Kate (the heroine from Kate's Crew). She's just opening a bakery and needed some help with renovations. Kate referred her boyfriend Mike (the hero from Kate's Crew) and his crew for the work. They've been working on Morgan's place for a couple months now and Morgan is completely gone on Joe but doesn't think he'd be interested in her.
Joe is part of a construction crew that's very close. They do everything from contract jobs to renovating houses to resell. They're all very close and engage in menages with women at times as well as engage in a little m/m+ when the mood hits. Joe's hasn't been seriously involved but Morgan has caught his eye and he's looking to get serious with her.
The story takes place as Morgan's birthday is coming (the next day). Kate and Morgan are talking and Kate's trying to convince Morgan to admit her longings for Joe. Morgan does but is humiliated when she realizes that Joe overheard. Joe's a real straight talker though and makes it clear to her that he's happy about that. There's also some talk that lets Morgan in on the fact that in the past Kate had a menage with the crew. This is actually because Morgan is interested in that but thinks it makes her look bad. Morgan was engaged before and when her and her fiancee tried more outgoing sexual exploits it broke them up. This makes Morgan worry that Joe wouldn't feel the same about her is she did engage in a menage. To help Morgan realize he won't think badly of her if she did decide to indulge, Joe gets Kate to spill about her past experience.
Taking a leap of faith, Morgan gets up the nerve to ask Joe out and they make arrangements to go to the pumpkin festival together. What Morgan doesn't know is that Joe makes some arrangements of his own. They go out and Joe has a surprise set up for Morgan that gives them a special time together. They have a sweet (and very hot) night and this leads in to Morgan trusting Joe more. The next day is her birthday and the birthday celebration leads into Joe and Morgan engaging in a menage with the rest of the crew (minus Mike and Kate). The story is basically some convo and then sex, a bit more convo and more sex, sex, sex... Well you get my meaning. It's short so expect most of it to be sex but there is enough convo in there to get the feelings going between Morgan and Joe. The story ends with them starting a relationship together that's new but seems to be the start to their HEA.
This was an enjoyable story. I liked both Morgan and Joe and their story was good but don't expect much plot. Still I liked it and knew it would be heavy sex when I started it so I'm not complaining. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. :D

This was a good story. I liked Kayla and Dave. Their story was good with some (unneeded IMO) drama that shook things up before the end.
Kayla is a naturist. She does massages but is opening a spa/resort that would be clothing optional once it's open. She has Dave and his crew helping with the construction and she massages them after work as a benefit of the work. She's drawn to Dave and has hot thoughts that she doesn't think she should act on.
Dave is a good guy and one of the members of a construction crew. The crew members are all very close and have engaged in sexual menages that included some women in the past. He's starting to get the feeling that Kayla is something special to him though but hasn't gotten up the nerve to ask her out.
It's winter and snow is coming. Kayla's resort is a bit out of town and with the storm coming, the crew decides to pack up and get home before the snow hits. Mike and Joe get off ok but Dave, James and Neil end up stuck at Kayla's resort due to truck issues and the incoming storm. It's the weekend so it looks like they'll be trapped there over the weekend. Kayla has just been waiting for everyone to leave so she can shed her cloths so when the guys have to stay she starts getting uncomfortable. Eventually she shares her secret and the guys let her know their ok with her being naked. There are some discussions about nakedness vs sexual desire and soon the 3 men and Kayla end up in a sexual haze for the night and in to the next day. Things take off between Kayla and Dave during this time and it seems hopeful they'll continue past the weekend. Unfortunately, there is some drama that almost messes everything up and Dave had a small bout of relationship dumbassedness in the way he handled things. Thankfully a little friendly intervention gets them back on track and Dave and Kayla come together to start on their HEA.
This was an enjoyable story. I liked Kayla and Dave but wished there was a little more time between just them in the buildup. As normal for this series the story is very heavy on the sexual content but with some romance thrown in as well. I'm looking forward to the next book to see how things work out for James and Neil. :)

This was a pretty good story. Devon was a good heroine and James and Neil are good guys. I've liked them in previous book in the series and was interested to see how things would work out for them since Neil is bi and James is gay. I will warn readers that there is a m/f/m/f/m/m/f/m/f love scene...it's more a "swinger" type thing than cheating but may bother some.
Devon is a female construction worker and has had a hard time finding a crew to work with. Most of the male construction workers she's dealt with think she's there for sex and don't take her seriously. She gets referred to an apprenticeship with a new crew for 3 months and is hopeful about it since the guys in the crew sound alright.
James and Neil met in trade school and fell in love right off. They've been together ever since. They've been involved with the menages with the crew before and that's been enough for Neil's bi side so they've never had a problem and never thought to add on to their relationship. This all changes the moment Neil sees Devon.
When Devon comes to work the first day she meets Neil first. Unfortunately she doesn't get the best impression from him as his face is showing displeasure. She thinks it's because he wanted her to be a guy but actually it's because he just fell for her hard and figures his world just got completely messed up. James saves the day and Devon joins the crew and is made welcome. Neil is actually a bit standoffish because if he gets too close he might get way closer than is good. After a few weeks on the crew, Devon finds out that they've been being "good" and stopping their normal sexual exploits because of her. This leads to the realization that Neil is really in to her. There's a hot lunch break that brings Devon fully in to things so the crew sees Devon as another addition to their group. Soon there's a party where the crew and their women are all attending and things progress in to the m/m/f/m/f/m/f/m/f menage scene mentioned above.
With Neil no longer holding back on his feelings, the connection between him and Devon explodes and they come together. James allows it because he loves Neil. He feels an unusual connection to Devon but still thinks he needs to step aside. Devon doesn't want to get in the middle and cause problems between James and Neil and Neil wants them all together because he loves them both. There's a bit or drama as things get worked out but it's not OTT at all. The situation is helped by the fact that Devon admits to James that she'd been secretly crushing on him for a while. Things do work out and the story ends with James, Neil and Devon starting on their HEA as a threesome.
This was an enjoyable story. I liked all 3 of the MCs and was happy they got together. As with the previous books in the series, the majority of the book seems to be sex scenes but there is enough of the rest that I was able to get in to it. Overall I liked the series and would recommend it for people looking for well written, heavy sex short stories with HEAs. :D

This series is nothing like Ms Rylon's other series. There is far less story holding this hot and heavy steam together. It is all about the sexy action and oh good gravy does it get sexified!! I really needed to take a cold shower after that!! Such a wonderful naughty read!! Sometimes I just want to skip the day to day humdrum and get straight to the steam. This series is perfect for that!!
I listened to the audio book and Samantha Prescott was wonderful!! She had such a way with the characters and the dirty talk! She definitely gave me an ear-gasm!!
Kate's Crew -
Wow! Holy Hot and Heavy Action!!! This book jumps things off fairly quickly with eh steam and pretty much follows up with more steam!! There are all sorts of combos one on one, a male menage a quatre and finally a whole mini orgy with five guys and one gal.
The steam is super plentiful and there is a variety of kink voyeurism and dirty talk abound!!
I am not always a fan of sharing that is not within a relationship, I like feelings to be involved all around. However things in this book are so sexy you can't help but be dragged along and drowned in the steam!! Sometimes you just want the bedroom action and not too much of the day to day humdrum.
If the rest of the series is like this I am going to have to leave off the panties!!!!!

Another steamy read!! This this time we are treated to outdoor action, one on one, some boy on boy play and a sexy menage a quatre that highlights some double action that scared my girlie parts! Oh, lordy, lordy...time for a cold shower!
This time we had a little more background story with out hot and heavy action. Morgan has a few issues to work out. And I guess you can forget your hangups if you spend all your time having sex!! Loads of action in this whole book! Sigh, this is definitely one to get a girls engine running. heck you might just overheat if you are reading alone!
This book leaves you panting for more! I can not wait to see what happens to the remaining three gents in the crew!
Kayla's Gift -
Oh boy, we were treated to more story with our sex!! It was nice to get a little more into the guys and more on the gal they are digging. Once again there is a variety of action one on one, some boy boy play and one killer double team!! Yummy!!
I was really interested in the byplay of the guys and would love to know if the group action continues after they pair up with their gal. Do they play the swingers game and the ladies play with each other occasionally or is it strictly a twosome when they get serious?
This story had a touch of drama here and there to kick the story segment up a notch. But really it is about the hot and heavy and I would not pass up a chance to be naked and plied with attention from three hot guys! I need to fan my face just thinking about all the smexy action in this book!

Hell Yes!! I am warning you ladies you will need to not only leave off the panties but you might want to drop an ice pack on it while you sit on a towel cause this one is beyond hotness!!
This time we addressed the question of adding a third to an established relationship and how all the members might feel. It was a nice little trip into how such things might go. Not a huge journey, cause it is a short book and mostly about the steamy action and not so much the day to day.
This book certainly delivered on the series and it is wonderful to see each guy with his own gal or in this case a complimentary trio. I would not mind a follow up book to explore where the crew is now. How did everything play out and loads of group love!
This book finishes the story arc started in Kate's Crew giving us HEA for all the guys. Where will the next books take us? New crews? A gal can hope!

Gobbled through this one. Easy to read, good storyline, enough romance to not be called "just porn" and HEA's all round.
Loved this one for its non-complicated-ness (if thats a word lol) and had me pining for a world like Jayne has created in this series where love is love no matter the sex and the unashamedness of wanting to take pleasure in the flesh without hang-ups.

อ่านในฉบับพรินต์บุ๊ค ซึ่งเอาอีบุ๊คสีเรื่องมาพิมพ์รวมกัน ซึ่งเป็นข้อดี เพราะถ้าซื้ออ่านตอนออกเป็นอี เราคงจะเลิกซื้อตั้งแต่เล่มแรก นี่เลยทำให้ได้เงินของเราไปสำหรับหนังสือทั้งสี่เล่ม
เป็นหนังสือที่เข้ากับคำจำกัดความของอีโรติคจริง ๆ เพราะทั้งเรื่องไม่มีอะไรนอกจากเซ็กส์ (very hot sex) อ่านแล้วไม่ได้ความเป็นโรแมนซ์ แต่ที่แปลกก็คือ ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรกะความขาดในจุดนี้นะคะ เนื่องจากคาแร็คเตอร์ (ทั้งนางเอกและพระเอก) ทำให้เราเชื่อว่า พวกเขาเหมาะสมกัน ในแง่ที่ว่าชอบวิถีชีวิตแบบทางเลือก (ที่การแต่งงานไม่ได้หมายความว่า คือการมีเซ็กส์กับคู่สมรสของคุณคนเดียว)

I listened to the audio version of these books and actually throughly enjoyed them. Books in this genre are typically just straight porn-worthy stories with no depth. But this one was surprising in that yes, there was A LOT of hot sex, but you also get emotion and a story behind it all, so it made it all the more enjoyable.
I thought "Kate's Crew" was the least interesting read of the bunch since it was a bit more subdued than the rest, but it was still a good read.
"Morgan's Surprise" was pretty good and Joe's surprise was the sweetest gesture. I mean the guy thought of everything with his team's help and I was certainly impressed.
"Kayla's Gift" was um, interesting, with the whole naturist/nudist story. It was a great story though and it was sweet how Dave's friends tried to set them up when she wasn't making that step towards Dave.
"Devon's Pair" was definitely the most emotionally invested of all the stories. You honestly couldn't help but feel for James and how he seemed to always be the grunt of the group. I felt his inner turmoil when his life partner decided to also love a woman. But I loved the ending and how he grew to also love Devon. Oh and it didn't hurt that this one had the most insane menage ever.

I loved it. This is books 1-4 of the Powertools series. It started slow with Kate's Crew. I loved the interaction between the crew. I also loved the honesty between them. I liked how Mike could tell when something was not right with one of the men or Kate. I felt that Kate's Crew ended abruptly. It got better with Morgan's Surprise. Again the honesty comes through and it was just a fun read. Continuing with Kayla's Gift, this series got better. The honesty is there and I liked that Kayla was a naturist and was able to say it without being put down for her outlook. This book ends with Devon's Pair. Again the honesty came through though James tried to hide his fears about the possibility of losing Neil. I liked how Devon was willing to give up what she wanted to keep from ruining what James and Neil had. I'm glad everything worked out though for all the couples and the crew.

I rated and reviewed each story individually but I'd like to go over it as a whole. This was my first taste of ménage and it was as decadent as I'd imagined it would be and sweeter than I would have guessed but I realized that I'm apparently traditional in some sense of the word because ménage wasn't my cup of tea. That being said these characters and their stories still kept me riveted and the bond of everyone involved was really nice, and had there not been at least that, I'm not sure I could have continued with it. The friendship in the book is the real star of the show. In that aspect it's really rich and beautiful.

My only qualm with the book is that Joe has this dream but when it comes to pass it's like an afore thought but nothing is said about it so why incorporate it? Other than that I had a great time listening and visualizing it
