Firefighter's Fake Fiancée is a sweet story, it follows Ashton and Lucy's journey from friends to lovers.
Ashton is in love with Lucy for a long time, it seems it's never the right time for him to declare. When Lucy break off her latest relationship, he knows that he has to act and to ask her out, but at that moment fate strikes again and his life becomes complicated. Lucy has crushed on Ashton since she was a teen, but he was her brothers' friend, so she kept it a secret. Now that she's a grown and indipendent woman, they are friends and in order to help him she offers him to share her house with him and his cute little girl. What could go wrong while living together? Will they keep their affection for each other a secret?
I adored how much Ashton and Lucy love each other and Kaylee. They are mature, thoughtful and kind. Their fear of ruining their relationship is relatable, if you also add an infant everyone would have been cautious in their place.
Clara Pines' writing is unpretentious and the pace is easy to follow. She crafted this beautiful and lively community that makes you want to visit.

Another great book in this series. I love this series so much because I know it's going to be a truly beautiful story with all the feels. Ashton's life is turned upside down with a tragedy, but he gained a precious gift. Right off the bat you can tell what an amazing person Ashton is stepping up for Kaylee like that. Lucy has had a few curve balls thrown her way, but life has something amazing instore for her. When she suggests Ashton and little Kaylee move in her life will never be the same. I love that this book takes place during the holiday season because it's always a little more magical that time of year. Kaylee is sooooo cute! She melted my heart through out the whole book and when she said hold-y so precious. This book is definitely a make you feel good romance. A must read!

I really love this book, and the whole series so far! You can't help but fall in love with all the characters and their sweet little town, Trinity Falls. This is Lucy and Ashton's story, which really showcases the importance of timing. Ashton has always liked Lucy, but he's missed opportunities in the past to ask her out. He now has his chance; their fake engagement helps things along. As usual, the writing style is wonderful, and the book is easy to read and hard to put down. I'm looking forward to Kellan's story.

Ashton, Lucy and Kaylee's story is a really beautiful, heart melting, all the feels romance. Your heart gets a mega workout as the story unfolds and if you are anything like me you are going to fall in love and be left happy, swoony mess. Sweetness, drama and emotion are the major factors at play here, along with brilliant touches of angst, poignancy, and cuteness. This heartfelt read offers a real raw genuineness that makes it highly relatable and powerfully moving. This is my forthright, volitional review.

This series keeps getting better and better. Firefighter’s Fake Fiancé was a fabulous addition to this heart-warming and romantic series. I love my visits to Trinity Falls, it’s like going home to spend time with characters who are slowly but surely becoming friends.
We have met Ashton Beck in previous books and I could not wait to see what Ms. Pines had in store for him. What I wasn’t expecting was the overwhelming emotions that this story brought out in me as Ashton stepped up to be a dad to little Kaylee.
It was a well written story that tugged at my heart on a number of occasions.
My heart went out to Ashton and Kaylee. He had such a steep learning curve and it was wonderful that he could turn to his best friends younger sister Lucy Webb for help. Now that Lucy is single the time could finally be right for Ashton to let her know his feelings since he has been in love with Lucy for what seems forever just added to the storyline.
Ashton is desperate to be approved as Kaylee’s guardian and when he tells people that Lucy is his fiancé she reluctantly agrees. Can Ashton convince Lucy to take a chance on him?

Both Ashton and Lucy were sweet. Throw in a darling toddler, you've won my heart. They've been friends for years and each have silently crushed on the other in the past but never acted on it. That all changes when . Ashton steps up and claims her as his fiancée. And that just leads to more and more reasons why they shouldn't admit the truth that it's fake.
This is a lovely romance. Usually, when the couple finally gets together, it's the end of the book. Not with this one. The story continues. Kind of reminded me the the end of the movie Return of the King. lol But everything had its place so it fit.

Firefighter's Fake Fiancee was a sweet, quick read. This small town romance focuses on Ashton and Lucy’s story. Ashton is a local firefighter and Lucy is an up and coming artist looking to finally get discovered. The two have known each other forever and both secretly harbord feelings for the other. When Ashton finally decides to let Lucy know how he feels, tragedy strikes and he doesn't feel like it is the right time any longer.
I really enjoyed the writing, and the fake fiancee title had me already in love with this storyline. I also enjoyed the characters but they took a minute to really grow on me because I was so frustrated that neither one would just come out and admit how they feel. The more into the book I got however, the more I connected with them and really started to enjoy the story. Of course I was sure that they would finally open up to each other, but it was the twist with her jerk of an ex that really had me dying to know how things were going to work out. A must read book for sure! Definitely a series I am interested in checking out!By Alisa

Have you ever read a series that you simply never wanted to end? Well Clara Pines’ Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series is just such a series! If you haven’t grabbed book one yet, please do so, as you’ll be in for a rare treat. While the books can be read as standalones, the characters do overlap so I would recommend them in order for a much better reading experience.
In the Fireman’s Fake Fiancée, we get Aston and Lucy’s story. These two have secretly had feelings for each other for years but their timing was never right. Including Aston’s adoption bid for baby Kaylee (and what an adorable child she is). But when an extreme “situation” has Aston claiming to be Lucy’s fiancé will the two finally declare their true feelings or will things revert to the norm once the “situation” is resolved?
An absolute delightful read that I highly recommend. It’s a sweet, heartfelt story that will having you swooning.

I love my visits to Trinity Falls and for this is one of those series that gets better with every release and Aston Beck and Lucy Webber’s journey is a perfect addition to this great series. If you love small town romance or if single dads are your jam look no further than Firefighter’s Fake Fiancé.
Ashton never expected to be a single dad but a tragic accident has him as soul provider for his goddaughter and when he realises he needs to move out of his parents house it’s his best friends younger sister that comes to the rescue. But it’s not only Ashton who needs help and he finds himself announcing that Lucy is his fiancée when her ex turns up in town. “Firefighter’s Fake Fiancée” from the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series, is the 5th amazing new book by the talented author Clara Pines :) Always a fresh new story with wonderful characters and clever dialogue, that pulled me in from the get-go! ... I am so happy to have found this author of some of the best, clean romantic fiction I’ve ever read, and now I can’t wait for more. But I will of course :) Even tho I volunteered to read this (before released on Kindle) it was without any outside influences & I do buy Kindle books whenever I can. I can honestly recommend this & all of her books to all who love fiction :)

Firefighter's Fake Fiancee is a sweet read. I loved this one. Ashton will own your heart as he becomes a father to Kaylee. He is a sweetheart and has had a crush on his best friends sister for years. Lucy is back and ready to get back on track. She's feeling the pinch and loneliness of living in her grandma's house after her failed engagement. Lucy and Ashton have this sweet friendship and it just grows as they start spending more time together. I love how Ashton comes to Lucy's rescue when her ex comes back in town. Lucy is so sweet with Kaylee. I just fell hard for Ashton and Lucy as they navigate their relationship. This is one sweet romance to one click today.

I so appreciate how the H declares them engaged & confuses everyone, including the h. Her brothers are not amused. The h has some healing as she becomes a stronger woman & more grateful for her life choices. She stands up for herself when she puts an ego inflated womanizer in his place. Surprises come throughout, plus the message with all of Clara's books that family & true love are her priorities in her writing.

Good book
I enjoyed reading this book. This one has a much more involved plot that the previous books so far in this series. There’s more going on in terms of Lucy’s ex fiancé and what’s going on in his life and what he wants out of her. Then there’s Lucy career as an artist. And Ashton’s care for his friend’s daughter, whom he’s trying to adopt after the friend and wife died. Lots of exciting things going on.

Seems like Cupid is visiting Trinity Falls this Christmas season. As secret long time crushes finally realize that they are made for each other. When a firefighter steps in the save his best friend’s little sister, Lucy from a very embarrassing moment. It may also open the door to finally be brave enough to express his true feelings. Unfortunately Ashton has his plate filled with stepping in as godfather to the adorable toddler Kaylee.

Beautiful and sweet friends to more story
I’ve been waiting for Lucy to get her story since book 1 released. I must say, this story far exceeded my expectations.
Lucy and Ashton were friends who had crushed on each other. When Ashton blurted out their engagement before ever asking her on a date I fell a little in love with him.
Throw in a sweet baby that has the big firefighter wrapped around her finger and you have the most precious story of love with an ending that will shock you and cause you to smile and shed a few happy tears.
I’ve been waiting for Lucy to get her story since book 1 released. I must say, this story far exceeded my expectations.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
I read the Firefighter's Fake Fiancee: Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Book 5 in one day while taking care of a seven month old baby. This book make me laugh, cry and feel all the feeling. Clara Pines has done it again. Wrote a book that put you right into it. It almost like your in Trinity Falls. I also want to say how much I enjoy reading a sweet, clean romance that you can share with a young pre-teen girl alway the way to seniors and every age in between. Clara Pines has done it again and done it well.

A sweet clean romance without any major drama or angst. Just enough of a storyline to rope you in and keep you turning the pages. This couple fought hard for what they wanted even with some mishaps you could tell that the perfect time hit and they just needed to make it happen ~Jen

I really enjoyed the story of Ashton and Lucy but it would have been better if it was written in first person pov. I thought the story was sweet and I really liked the characters but the story just felt unrealistic. I get the whole starting as fake engagement and not wanting people to find out it was a lie but turning that to real engagement without even dating and getting married that quickly is crazy to me.

Such a beautiful love story. Ashton impulsively announces he is Lucy’s fiancé when her ex confronts her with his new, pregnant fiancée. It was wonderful to see Lucy stand up to the big city art dealer, and to finally realize just what her art means to her. Ashton is so supportive. They truly mesh together so well. I absolutely am in love with Trinity Falls and all its residents.

I was given a copy of this wonderful book before it came out to the public. This book checks all the boxes. The characters are believable but flawed . I laughed till I cried But also cried till I laughed. I read this book in one setting and so will you. Clara Pine's does it again. Can't wait for the next in the series.

I absolutely loved this book! Ashton and Lucy’s story! It was a beautifully told romance that will have your heart singing with sweetness, drama, emotions and a little girl named Kaylee you’ll fall in love with! Firefighters Fake Fiancé is a wonderful addition to the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series! I loved it and the whole series!

I loved getting to read Lucy and Ashton’s story! It might start off as a fake engagement but their feelings for one another has always been very real. I enjoyed seeing Ashton get his dream girl and Lucy getting her dream family.

great sweet fake fiancé romance
Ashton and Lucy have known each other forever. They each have long had feelings for each other but for some reason or another they didn’t act on those feelings. This is a great story and fun, quick read. I’m really enjoying this series, but each book in this series can be read out of order or as a standalone.
