It's Christmastime and Caillou's family is gathering together. Even his Aunt Poppy and her cat Balthazar have come from far away to celebrate the holiday with Caillou, his sister Rosie, and their parents and grandparents. Before they know it, Christmas Eve has arrived, and Caillou—who is too excited to sleep—suddenly hears a strange noise. Could it be Santa? I found this book boring. The kids were into the cat a little and mostly they had little reaction.

The cat is named Balthazar - after a demon. How strange.

The story is thin and the art is rough. This might be my last Caillou book.

The kids would t like this book at all if it wasn’t Caillou. The story is very loose, dos t really have a plot, and doesn’t teach any lesson.
