I found this book boring. The kids were into the cat a little and mostly they had little reaction.

The cat is named Balthazar - after a demon. How strange.

The story is thin and the art is rough. This might be my last Caillou book.

If the kids know and like Caillou, this would hold their attention. If they don't, I'm not sure this will hold them.
