This was a cute book and I'm sure families would adore it. Personally, as a childfree person who reads materials for work (librarian here), this one was missing a little something for me personally. The art is adorable, but the talking stove was a little much. I know that's a weird thing to be put off by...but if the stove can talk, why can't it turn it's own dials??
