This was a good introduction to the different types of divination that can be practiced. Each section had a brief history of the divination technique followed by explanations and how to perform readings. Tarot is the largest portion discussed. The author explains all the cards, interpretation of the cards and their inversions, and doing readings with various spread formations (three-card, horseshoe, Celtic cross, and astrological).
The author then included tasseography (tea leaf reading), crystal gazing, the I-Ching oracle, numerology, palmistry, casting runes, astrology, and dowsing (detecting unseen objects like underground water).
Overall this was a neat introduction to divination and fortune-telling techniques that are practiced. A good reference aid in my opinion. Thanks!
