This is book is remarkable and eye opener for understanding the depths of god’s word. Ira Milligan really the tackles these deceptive doctrines and shows you the truth by each scripture. Also explains some of the severe consequences of the enemy deceptions. It covers such as Tithing, the rapture, positive confessions, security of salvation (fire insurance), mysteries of Godliness, mysteries of baptisms, mysteries of the bride, (sin, sickness, and chastisement), the law of jealously, unanswered prayer, to bind a strong man, the believer’s priesthood and cutting corners. There are two subjects significantly hit home for me was the third chapter “fire insurance” when he explained that someone accept Jesus as his lord and savior and repent of his sin, God is faithful to forgive him of his sins. But if he turns away from God and go back to his sinful ways, he will lose salvation. I have learned once you are saved, you are always saved and you can’t lose your salvation. That is shocking to me. And lastly the “Law of Jealously” reveals the positive and negative sides of communion. The positive side of communion can bring healing. On the other hand the negative sides bring punishment upon you. I now know before I take communion to ask God to forgive me because of the serious consequences.

In each chapter have questions and answers as well as a have recommended reading to further your study. This is great book for bible study for you or to have small group to read. I think this need be a foundational book for all Christian must read. Mr. Milligan has really done his homework. I personally give it ten stars, it so deserves. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t at one time or another during their life, to not have questions about things in the bible and church. Everyone has struggles when it comes to matters of faith; even those who proclaim to be void of it. Ira Milligan seeks to demystify many of the questions people most often raise when it comes to those matters. That is essentially what I love about this book.

Scripture says, “It is the glory of to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search out a matter.” Much of what makes this an interesting read is in how it covers many of the doctrinal questions that people face when it comes to what Christians believe or are unsure about. Whether you are rooted in your faith, just beginning your walk, or are trying to determine if Christianity makes sense to you in comparison to other faiths, this will give you good place to whet your appetite for your spiritual investigation.

If you’ve been wondering about angels and demons, the power of prayer, the attributes of tithing, the great escape, what baptism is all about, and many of the terms that are used to describe a believer, you’ll want to get this book. If you know someone who has question of faith and don’t know where to turn, give them this book. I’d recommend this to anyone who is an enthusiast of religious studies, or just wanting to sharpen themselves.

For clarity in the scriptures and freedom from deception, Ira provides very strait forward revealing of truth that has surely come from a long and real intimate relationship with our Lord. I recommend this profound teaching for anyone wanting to grow in learning our Father's heart, as well has those truly desiring strong healthy relationships in all aspects of their lives. This shows us how much we need the Holy Spirit, for not only instruction, but protection from the deceptions of the enemy. A great equipping read.

This book was interesting. It addresses the questions asked by many people concerning the word of God. As you read this book you will learn new things based on scriptural references from the bible. He addresses the tithe, rapture, positive confession, fire insurance, mystery of Godliness, mystery of the bride, sin, sickness and chastisement, the law of jealousy, unanswered, to bind a strongman, the believers priesthood and cutting edge questions. would read it again.
