Three passionate novellas from The Secret Library range that offer essiential, sensual reading. Silk Stockings - Constance Munday When Michael Levenstein meets Imogen, an exotic dancer at aBerlinnightclub, a passionate and intense love story develops. Michael becomes obsessed by mysterious Imogen and falls into a world of intense sexual fantasy and desire. But Imogen is determined to protect a personal, dark secret at all costs and because of this she has forbidden herself love. With Imogen afraid of committing and afraid of losing what she has fought for so desperately, can Michael break down her barriers and discover a solution to his lover's deep dark secret, thus freeing the enigmatic Imogen to truly love him? The Lord of Summer - Jenna Bright Banished to the back of beyond, in the middle of a long, hot summer, Gem and Dan Parker find their marriage filling up with secrets. As they work to reopen the Green Man pub, tensions and unacknowledged desires come between them. From their first night, when Gem sees someone watching them make love from the edge of the woods, her fantasies of having two men at once start to grow and consume her. As the temperature rises, she becomes fixated by her imaginings of an impossible, gorgeous, otherworldly man in the forest. A man who could make her dreams come true - and maybe save her marriage. Off the Shelf - Lucy Felthouse At 35, travel writer Annalise is fed up with insensitive comments about being left "on the shelf." It's not as if she doesn't want a man, but her busy career doesn't leave her much time for relationships. Sexy liaisons with passing acquaintances give Annalise physical satisfaction but she needs more than that. She wants a man who will satisfy her mind as well as her body. But where will she find someone like that? It seems Annalise may be in luck when a new member of staff starts working in the bookshop at the airport she regularly travels through. Damien appears to tick all the boxes - he's gorgeous, funny and intelligent, and he shares Annalise's love of books and travel. The trouble is, Damien's shy and Annalise is terrified of rejection. Can they overcome their fears and admit their feelings, or are they doomed to remain on the shelf?
The secret library contains 3 differed short novels. Honestly the first one is amazing and I can now personally say I get very happy and filled with Lust when I see a woman with stockings on.
Firstly, when I read Silk Stockings I was beginning to be introduced to the world of erotica and mystery. Imogen made me think of a broken down and lost soul, however by the end I discovered that she was stronger then I could have ever predicted, the shirt novel opened my eyes to the different ways of living and to the difference of strip clubs and simple night clubs with exotic dancers.
Secondly, The Lord of Summer made me slightly confused and uneasy while reading therefore I had to put it down for a while because it really made me.... reconsider things in life. I'm not sure how but it did. Once I continued and the character of Jack was introduced, it sparked up my interest and I was instantly back to laying in my bed with a torch in my PJ's till my eyes were dropping from being so tired! Ignoring all my basic needs, not eating and slowly reading appreciating every single page to the fullest because I knew that the ending was coming soon.... sooner then I wanted it to.
Thirdly, Off The Shelf was a cute and very sweet short novel I think it was the perfect ending. it made me feel sympathetic towards Annalise and it did not contain too much sex however just enough. I think it was perfect! With a certain amount of romance that it brought out and the awkwardness that appears normally but is not mentioned and exposed to the world in normal novels, it created the PERFECT short novel for actually anybody! Even someone not interested in "sex books". It has also sparked up my interest in the job that Annalise did, and consider it as my future job perhaps.
Overall The Secret Library is perfect! I have ordered another which will be delivered soon and.... I'm jumping in anticipation. Personally I would recommend this book to anyone. And the cover.... The cover is amazing! Makes it so easy to read anywhere and soft to a touch.

This was the third book in the Secret Library for me which was a fun read and I loved reading 2 stories from two new authors, this is what makes reading mixed books fun. All three stories are well written and super sexy and to the same standard as the other 2 Secret Library books I have read so far.
So we have extreme elegant fetish, supernatural and urban legend with the Green man and travel erotica all completely different types of story in 3 completely different settings, great editing Antonia.
Silk Stockings This was an unusual novella for me as it was a very passionate story about an extreme fetish of stockings; everything about them, the texture, deniere, colour, putting them on, rolling them off. Something I hadnt really considered to be an extreme fantasy. Constance brought Imogen to life in the fact she had spent her whole life being persued and admired by men..actually not her..but her amazing legs which were born to wear stockings; this had made her hardened to the world of sex and men. Michael Levenstein becomes obsessed with her and her sexy legs and genuinely wants to get to know her as a person, but she is quite guarded in the beginning just assuming he wants her for her legs. I loved the way he gradually was able to break her down to relax and enjoy that someone loves her for not just her legs. It really is quite an intense plot and I didn't warm to her as I would l have liked. I found myself warming to Michael alot more than Imogen. All in all a good read that conveys the whole stocking fetish scene.
The Lord of Summer A fast paced easy read from another new author for me, I thoroughly enjoyed this novella from Jenna Bright. Gema and Dan Parker husband and wife team are assigned to a new pub in the middle of nowhere by their sleazy boss assuming they would hate it there.
They plan to make a complete new life at a new pub called the Green man, but as they begin renovations for its reopening they both start to feel super sexy and erotic desires begin to surface, Gema starts to think of her fantasy of having sex with 2 men and when she sees someone watching her and Dan having sex; she is completely turned on by this fact instead of feeling embarrassed; fuelling her latent desires. Gema goes in search of this stranger which leads to more super hot scenes between her and a supernatural stranger.I warmed quickly to all three of them and I found Gema, Dan and this stranger all completely relatable and the sex realistic. I loved the supernatural feel to this novella being a lover of magic and mystery I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The plot was an easy fast read with super hot believable scenes.
Off the shelf I knew I was going to enjoy this read having read several of Lucy's books previously . I was completely comfortable with Annalise she was so relateable and I adored Damian as he was my kinda guy fun, friendly not too flirty a real gent; embarrassed about little things. Most of all funny he made me laugh.
I thoroughly enjoyed this fast easy flowing read and at only 65 pages is perfect to grab some "me" time with. This is an adorable romance that ends in a super passionate sex scene built from the sexual tension that had been building beautifully throughout the story. I found Annalise so likeable it felt like I was watching a best friend having a romance with someone I knew; they felt so familiar. Lucy really brings these two characters to life making them completely real in your imagination; she adds the little things that we all do to make them familiar to us on print.. er...ok pixels. The ending was expected for me but so very steamy, it was such a great sex scene as it was completely natural as these two were completely made for each other;I loved this novella. A wonderful romance story, quite vanilla but oh so very natural and sexy; another great read from the words of Lucy felthouse.
Another brilliant book from the Secret Library, beautifully velvet bound with a hint of blue a gorgeous luxurious discreet read.
