Born in Ontario, Canada, Mireille Chester now resides in the beautiful province of Saskatchewan. Wife, mother, author, woods sprite, food lover; she has many hats she loves to fill. A trucker’s wife, she is mom to an emo skater princess, a gaming enthusiast, and a fisherman with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism.
When not writing, her days are spent hiking, fishing, camping, reading, and watching movies with her family.
Mireille is a fantasy author who loves to spend time in made up worlds filled with magic. She is a firm believer that no hero is perfect and that all villains are burdened with a tiny shred of humanity. Whether writing adult or YA, paranormal, apocalyptic, or epic fantasy, her goal is always to take her readers on an adventure they won’t forget.

Mi and her friends think they are off for a fun time at the local fair to celebrate Mi's birthday. But what they don't realize is that a 150 year old curse is about to alter their lives forever. Old friends and old flames will all have to work together to be sure they make it out of the haunted house alive.

Mireille has done it again. She has taken those hilarious facebook statuses and made it into another awesome short story. And I am not just saying that cause I am in the story. Dude I am a flippin cry baby throughout the entire book. Actually I think I even cried out for my mommy once. I was pretty much useless. If it wasn’t for Shelly Crane I probably would have died most likely. I was definitely mental hospital material come the end of the book. Come to think of it, do you even like me Mireille? Eh?

I love that some of my favorite authors are mentioned in the book. Besides Mi and Shelly, we get Nichole Chase too. Enter at Your Own Risk is a really good read that’s sorta sad and even a tad bit funny at times. With this being a short story you will fly through it eager to see who all survives to make it out alive and who gets peed on. ;)

LOVE THIS STORY! NOT only because I am in it (YES THE MINDY IN THE STORY IS ME) but this was an incredible story to read. I was hooked. Although it is a short story, it is full of everything you love in a book. Highly suggest reading for a quick incredible read! Author Mireille Chester is an INCREDIBLE author! You really need to check out her other work!!

All in all, this was a good story. HOWEVER, it was not enough. This very, very easily, and actually should have, been a full length novel. The concept, the writing style, the characters, and the possibilities in this book were all perfect. But it was short. And because it was short and has all this... information, it jumped. A lot. I felt lost quite a few times and had to stop to think about what was going on. I would love to see a revised, full length version of this story.
