He had Marxist leanings during the 1940s, but later became an outspoken anti-communist and also wrote extensively on the damage to Indian culture and heritage wrought by expansionist Islam and missionary activities of Christianity. In his later career he emerged as a commentator on Indian politics, and adhered to Hindu nationalism.

In short and sweet word "Jesus is Junk" period. A jewel like Shri SR Goel just lacerated a doctrine of falsehood and tried his best effort to awake us. Still we celebrate christmas eve, good friday, easter etc. with party mood. The symbol of cancer is spreading secretly, till it gets detected at 2nd or 3rd stage where it is very difficult to prevent. Our Bharat is in completion of 1st stage.

In the southern parts of India, a few parts in north and most parts in the north east the missionaries are their great work in converting the tribal and the native religious persons. This has been going on since decades even after the attainment of independence from the British Raj. Conversion doesn't just take place by seizing hold of the vulnerability of the people with malicious words and promises of paradise and escape from hell meant for the 'heathens' but also through aggression, violence and cheap tactics like demonising the gods and goddesses. As I'm writing this review I'm sure somewhere in India another beautiful temple is getting to its ruins. I was shocked because in the book Sita Ram Goel refers the incident of a demolition of temple in Jerusalem and how it was ignored since the temple and it's belief system didn't tally with the christian mentality. What happened in Gomantika (the present Goa) and to the Saraswat Brahmins would explain things better. (Please do read Swapna Saraswata by Gopalakrishna Pai)
Coming to the book now, the book talks about the Jesus in the historical term and Jesus in the fictional term. Both in their own ways don't have good foundations of credibility. All across the history there's been the question whether a person called Jesus existed or not? The citations the author present themselves prove to be contrast to each other and I believe there isn't a clarity on the personality of Jesus. As I always pondered before, there isn't much about this person's childhood or adolescence and there is a heavy emphasis on the 'sacrifice' he did for our sins. Did he really exist? What was he like? Or is he just a name to fend off the insecurity one hosts when it comes about polytheists?
Next, the gospels themselves contrast with each other. Jesus of the gospels seems to be quite uncanny and completely different from what he is seen as now. Well, as I read along I began to realise the Jews have been hunted down everywhere for centuries and centuries for no credible reason at all. The author cites the required phrases to put one to ponder over the exhibition of Jesus in the current times with words like 'love', 'kindness'.
The book also casts light on the assimilation of the pagan cultures like Greek and Roman. I loved the way how the author explains why these ideas and principles were added to the new monotheist faith, later hunted down after the complete extraction and why Jews, on the other hand, didn't get the respect they deserved since they didn't believe in any 'messiah'
I appreciate how the author has included the psychoanalysis of the character called Jesus made by psychologists and it kinda clarified me about the Jews and others who were massacred for centuries.
With the guns, big fleets and massive political support and aggression and intolerance at its best it spread all across the world. We no more see the beauty of Norse nor do we see the aboriginals in the European places. The attention, at present, has been directed towards countries like India and it should be dealt very consciously.
One would only know the truth hidden if s/he goes looking for it. Sita Ram Goel is one of them. He has done a profound research and points out at the unclarity and intolerance of the monotheism in the name of Jesus who likely wasn't existent at all or was heavily cooked up with bits and bits of addition and alterations efficient enough to spread.
This book somewhat made me emotional at some points. However, it's a must read. It puts you to question things.
I wasn't that shocked or surprised but I giggled a bit when the reference to Nazism was given in the book; the present so called western historians (also a few people who are politically driven) who work day and night to call the Indic civilisation a Nazi influenced one should rather look within to make sure there's no connection with Nazism in past.

Although very brief, this book is a very useful study of the 'Studies on Jesus Christ'. The author presents a plethora of view points ranging over a vast array of sources, taking us from the Jesus of the Gospels, to Jesus of History, to Jesus of Faith and Fiction.
In his immaculate survey of the immensely voluminous literature on the topic of Jesus Christ, Sita Ram Goel has put up a formidable case against the 'perceived' sanctity, the 'pompous' morality and the 'unverified' existence of the epicenter of the world's largest religion.
The uninitiated might strongly disagree with Sita Ramji's conclusions and his general viewpoint would seem anti-christian to some, but bringing the menace of the missionaries in India and the historical record of Christianity into perspective, this book raises some hard hitting questions regarding the Hindu response to Christian aggression.
Even those who are in complete disagreement with Sita Ramji's point of view would find this book to be a very helpful guide to the writings on Jesus Christ - from beginnings of Christianity itself to the dawn of the twenty first century - by christian theologians and by atheist polemics.

Another great book. I enjoy reading it. The book is with lot of reference and bibliography. Everyone should read it.

There are many people who discuss missionaries' propaganda, but they usually sugarcoat it, but Sita Ram Goel straightforwardly called it a "Jesus industry in India" and "junk". He came to this conclusion after reading Christian books. I don't care whether Jesus existed or not. What I care about is the history of the Christian inquisition worldwide and in India. They did atrocities in the name of Christianity and have no guilt for it and are still continuing to fulfill their motto to convert everyone by any means possible.
Highly recommend it.

that there is nothing common between Sanatana Dharma and the
sinister cult of the Only Saviour, that Hindus have nothing to
learn from Christianity but a lot to teach, and that the sooner the
Christians missions close their shop in this country the better for
them and their masters abroad.”
Ah. I knew I had to read this book the moment I saw it. First it was my personal curiosity to know about Christianity in general and why does it have so much effect on people especially on the backward classes in India, because it’s almost always hidden except for the slogans of “Forgive him father for he do not know what he’s doing”, “Praise to the lord”, “Jesus is the saviour, only truth”, “love the neighbour”, etc. where as there were some contexts of other religions that I have discovered but not Christianity apart from their slogans that are popular and the mass conversions(especially in India). This book has revealed many such things to me and actually made me learn a lot, how Christianity has always ran on blind faith rather than the truth and history. How mass conversions with the help of western political advantage played a huge role in increasing its population around the world, and how important it is(especially for Hindus that are very easy to fall for this trap) to actually dive deep in and research about specific religion before they even try to knock on your doors to sell their beliefs and books that have no essence and has been changed a billion times over the decades.
Sita Ram Goel ji, the man that you are! You will live on. Im still an amateur when it comes to literature and there were many such instances where I had to search up the synonyms of many words haha, but loved it. Goel ji was very bold and ahead of his times, he amazed me! Only if this book was released in recent times he would’ve faced a lot of backlash and would be disappointed at the current state of this country but nevertheless he had been successful in calling this specific religion with no base truth out!

This book deals with the issues regarding proof of historical Jesus. When I was reading ‘The Da Vinci Code’ by Dan Brown, I encountered similar facts, i.e. the Christianity got its recognition only after Constantine converting to Christianity, lady Magdaline whom Christians malign as whore was not a bad lady but she was married to Jesus and they has a daughter name Sophie, 25th Dec was not Jesus birthday etc. This book goes into depth in revealing the facts which shatters the belief of Jesus as historical person. Even all the gospels are not consistent in their facts and seems that the story of jesus was cooked by later day Christians.

An amazing book which exposes the machinations and manipulations and the props created by the followers of Christianity improving that Jesus existed.
This is a must for all those who have converted from Hinduism into Christianity and also for those who are having similar thoughts. Let them read this book with an open mind and I am very sure it will quickly run away from the very thoughts.
The question that did the Jesus as taught by the New testament really exist in that manner is a question which is raised by many philosophers and writers in the western world.
Time to think .
