it's a solid 3.75 for me but since that isn't here, 4 works too. I was fighting for my life with the first half of this book because it was frustrating but it makes up for it in the second half.
They do throw in a lot of stuff in there but with the main characters almost on the same page, it makes it work. I do think there were certain plots and characters that could've used more time for plot development to make their impact significant, but in the end I am more of a romance enjoyer so it wasn't a hurdle for me.
I enjoy the author's vivid descriptions and writing style so I had a good time with this regardless. (in the second half, the first half truly had me ready to fist fight the ML)
