When a catastrophe ruins a planet, its two isolated moon’s populations diverge. One pursues technological advances while the other genetically enhances the power of the mind. An excellent book! Refreshing take on the theme. Totally worth reading.

In a world where one group of humans has absolute control over the others, where the privileged have less than no regard for the people that support them and makes their lush lives possible, a fifteen year old girl with the ability to change things is about to wake up.

SciFi is a place where current truths and ideas can be explored in another world and what a world Eric Niven creates for us! Great imagination! I hated to have to put it down and leave for work each day. And when I did, it stayed with me all day until I could get back home and dive in again. A definite page turner! The setting, the concepts, the insight into human character, the quotes at the start of each chapter are brilliant! His characters with their ambitions, their vices, weaknesses, schemes and paranoia are beautifully done, as are his descriptions of the Proven. Anyone who has spent anytime in the business world will particularly enjoy this! Entertaining, good pace and soooo satisfying!. I'm hoping there will be a sequel.

It is barely getting started on the market (looks like it was published this month) but I'll bet it catches on fast! I think it could be a candidate for a good movie.

Really great Sci-Fi read! It introduces a whole new world that is detailed and captivating. I felt attached to the characters and concerned for their welfare. I bought it and have been passing it around to my friends!

I didn't read this one. My husband did, but he doesn't do the whole Goodreads bit. The following review is his.

My wife and I met the author when we were on a weekend getaway together. While she was fabric shopping, he and I were talking. He told me about a couple of books that he had published. I was interested. I ordered the first book and read it while traveling. I really liked it. I would recommend it. It did have some editing errors, but they were easy to overlook, and didn't diminish from the story. I will read the next book in the story.
