Wow! The Price sisters know how to write scorching hot loves scenes—Fire in His Eyes and everywhere else. The secondary characters are as heartwarming as the hero and heroine and you will fall in love with them, too. Like most relationships, you have to work out your differences and family members can oftentimes be difficult. Char and Alcyone are soul mates. They work well together and in the end, true love conquers all.
Don't miss Deep Water. Kael, the temperamental brother finds his mate. You may be surprised who his heart chooses.
Char, a Fire elemental Dragon has had his eyes on a sexy little Succubus named Alcyone Sterling. He has been watching her from a far until one night he decides the time has come to make his move. Alcyone who has been feeling lonely and fed up to be attending another function stag finds a box sitting on her desk and a note that says it's from an admirer. Intrigued by the gift, Alcyone gets ready for the masquerade party in hopes of this mystery man making an appearance. After much dancing and scanning the crowd her admirer makes an appearance and leave Alcyone panting for more.
This is a fantastic story of two very different people that go against what others think is right and find true love. It's full of steamy sex scenes, love, heartache, loss, and acceptance.
If you've read S.A. Prices Eververse Series you will already know some of the locations and characters in this book but if not don't worry it's a great stand alone as well. Stella and Audra Price really know how to write steamy scenes and Char will make your blood boil!
I wanted to like this book - hell, I expected to like this book- but I was clothes-lined by the incessant giggling of the main character. I honestly cringed every time the word "giggle" was used (in fact, I probably would have given it 2 stars if even a quarter of those giggles had been cut). The sex was decent but there was little to no outside conflict other than the thought that the dragons might be hunted if the demon lord dude knew they were out there. Even the one dragon who had an issue with Char taking a demon as a mate ended up falling under her spell and being her BFF by the end of the book.
Not terrible, but erratic (the whole Succubus Queen thing and her demands left me looking around in confusion) to the point where I wasn't invested in the characters at all. I've read other books by these authors that I've enjoyed so I'm feeling a little let down by this one.
Alcyone Sterling is the sweetest and sexiest succubus demon I have ever read about. Her passion for life and love for other beings especially her mate is such a joy to read about. Charcoal (Char) is one hot sexy fire elemental Dragon that every woman wishes they had. Alcyone and Char’s story was amazing and their erotic passion definitely can steam up the pages and totally satisfying your minds sexual hunger.
I truly loved this story. It had me smiling throughout the whole book. It was definitely a book I couldn’t put down, the writing was smooth and fast paced, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. All the characters grabbed my attention right away and had me wanting to know more about them in the end. I look forward to reading more books in this series. Great Read!
There was a nugget of a great idea buried in this story, but the writing was not up to par for me. I never had a clear sense of time or place for the story, and many of the character's motives were elusive or conflicting. The dialogue at times was stilted and occasionally didn't make sense. For example: "How can I smell like fire, Char? Before you I never even liked the color red." What?! And Al and Char's dialogue during sex prevented those scenes from being hot and instead made them borderline corny.
And the incessant giggling! There are so many ways for a woman to react besides giggling. And so seldom is giggling the appropriate response. In the middle of a sex scene: "She arched up into him and giggled." Really? And if she wasn't giggling she was starting her sentences with "Ummm".
Once again, the Price sisters take us into the Eververse, their rich, sensual world ripe with dragons, demons, shapeshifters, and other supernatural creatures. Al is a Succubus, and owner of the hottest night club in Shadow Heights. Char, the last remaining fire dragon, has been watching the beautiful Alcyon from the shadows. When he finally reveals himself to her, will she accept him? Is he the one who can ease the loneliness in her soul?
Masterfully written, Fire In His Eyes is hauntingly beautiful. The whirlwind romance of Al and Char sizzles, and touches the heart. I look forward to the next books in the Prices' Elementals series.
Again this is a copy of what I left on Amazon.com. The Eververse is such a cool world and now I know why. Because it has dragons in it! Char and Alcyone are a wonderful couple. I loved how the book started. I love that he was watching her from afar. I loved how he made himself known to her, ooh la la! Another hot erotic read (so keep the ice water handy). He's a dragon, she a succubus, and together they make one very hot couple! Stella, Audra, whatever you do, don't stop writing! Keep um coming girls....I love it and thanks!
I really enjoyed this book. This was the first of the Price Sisters books that I picked up. I am very glad that I did. I found myself a new author. This book proves that no matter what walk of life you are from, it is possible to find true love. It also shows that if you are truely in love, others opinions do not matter and you CAN overcome your obstacles to be together. Char and Alcyone were certainly meant to be together.
I loved this book! It is the first I have read from these authors and will not be the last. Char and Al's story was so hawt! I like the love at first sight and the fact that'd they cannot stay apart. There is love, steamy scenes, some sadness. This book is about a fire dragon and a lusty demon who cannot keep their hands off each other! The other dragons are wonderful characters and would love to see their stories. I could not put this down. You will not be sorry you purchased this.
I'm a sucker for dragons, and Fire In His Eyes has several. Charcoal, the leading character, is a fire dragon who has to walk a fine line between protecting his "family", the few remaining dragons left, and finding his mate (who happens to be a succubi, an arch-enemy of dragon-kind). A happily-ever-after with a few dark twists and lots of heat! All in all, a very enjoyable read!

The interactions between the characters is great. A tale of a dragon finding his mate, who happens to be a demon, with the sensuality and love that they discover, and the tension between the other dragon over the implications of this match and their very survival.
Char is one of only a few remaining dragons and has been in hiding with his friends for hundreds of years. The King of the Fire Demons ordered the execution of all dragons and ever since the dragons and demons have been enemies. The last dragons have been in hiding for so long that the demons believe they are all dead and the dragons have no intention of letting them know otherwise. That is until Char finds Alcyone and realises she is is mate.
Alcyone is not a born demon - she traded her human life to become a succubus in order to be beautiful. As more and more of her friends find their soul mates Al finds herself becoming lonely and wishing for her own love. When a secret admirer starts leaving her gifts she is desperate to know who he is and when they finally meet at a masquerade ball the attraction and passion between them is instant. But Char must keep his existence secret from the other demons and Alcyone is a favorite of the succubus Queen so it isn't going to be easy for them to be together.
I really enjoyed reading Char and Alcyone's story they make a sweet couple and their story is both romantic and passionate. Char has been alone for a long time and had almost given up on life before he first saw Al and knowing she was his mate changed everything for him. He is determined to be with her but worried about putting his friends at risk by exposing himself to the demons. Although the relationship between Char and Al develops quite quickly it was still believable. They have some very sexy encounters and I loved it when Char marks Al with his mating mark.
I also liked getting to meet the other dragons - Kael in particular was a fantastic character who I can't wait to see more of (luckily for me his book is the next one in the series). Watch out for the scenes with him and his new pets - they really made me laugh out loud. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more about these sexy dragons and their mates!
So this book was awesome, just because a...it was about dragon shifters, and b... it was an extension of both the 13 shades series and the Eververse series! This is Chars story, who right now is the oldest of the fire dragons, with only a few being left out of the war. Char was of a warrior class and hated the inactivity that the war cost them, along with the almost extinction of their species. As it was they had been in hiding for many years and the oldest of them was dying.
The book itself had many strong characters inside that branched out to have their own books, but this one was the catalyst that drove the dragons out of the dark and into the light. Char has watched Alycone for a long time and has longed to touch her. She calls to him in a way that no one ever has. But Demons are forbidden. Being Elementals they all have a particular thing that calls to them and fire demons had the ability to control Char. Still he could not resist the call and jumps in.
Alycone was a sweet demon that had bargained her soul for beauty. She was very unlike the rest of her succubi sisters, and kept her pleasures to a minimum. She wanted something more and after being ignored most of her human life, she embraced becoming a demon, only to end up with a similar fate in their world. Until him.
These two lost souls come together and all years of lonesomeness and longing are swept away in one night. In one night that perfect partner is found and bond is built that cannot be severed and must be revered. This series is intense because the beings are ancient and the need to be saved and loved is prevalent and consuming. I fell in love with Char and his whole mismatched family. The stories that follow are just as wonderful!!!
i can rate this book any better the plot is weak the character in some way good the ideas maybe a bit new but is a combination of g.a aiken meet richelle mead and so on but not in a good way she took from this author a idea but didn't make it work in the end i did enjoy one or two character but i really like the story at all. it make no sense she doesnt no the guy and she is sleeping with him okay i get it she is a succubus so she is all about sex, them is crazy for him and them she is all i love you and i love everyone around you and all happen in like a week. seriouly that just not right i would have like to see him trying to get her attention or something like that i was really thinking that was going to happen. in the end i think is was a poor way to go with this book the ideas where some good but there were put badly together. i get the love a first side but is just this love felt make, created and is a book it should look natural after all you have more ways to put there feeling together towards the end i feel a bit better with the story but really not by much only because i did enjoy kael as a character not much also like about the book. for this to be a better book there is a lot of work to be done and okay the sex part is good but a book with this new ideas can only be good because they have good sex even myles jill get this that why her story are getting better. i see potential in this series but it need a lot of work for it to make happen.
This was actually quite entertaining. Being an avid shitty PNR reader, I pretty much read anything with paranormal creatures, a bit humor and interesting characters. This one was with dragons. I will not lie. This book wasn't nearly as good as I had wanted it to be and neither was it particularly bright or emotional. The couple has sex in chapter one and then it's suddenly LURVE they're feeling. I didn't buy it. They had no emotional investment at all, they scarcely talked, and they didn't know each other before. Apart from the rather sad couple, the story was actually quite nice. There are demons and fey and dragons in this world and they don't like each other (big surprise!). A long time ago, there was a huge war between dragons and demons, and since then, dragons went into hiding, being thought of as extinct.
While I wasn't too impressed with the main couple, I actually liked the side characters, especially Kael, a water dragon who's always in a bad mood. The queen of the succubi and her relationship to her estranged husband was interesting too, and I'm looking forward to find out more about them in further installments of this series.
Oerall, this is a 2.5 star book, but I feel generous today so I rounded it up.
Char is a Fire Dragon and one of only 8 dragons left in the world, who have been in hiding for the last 2000 years. There was a war that all but exterminated them because the king felt threatened by them. Demons, having sided with the king, usually meant death, but there is a certain little demon that Char has had his eye on for a while…and it’s time to make his move, even if that means risking their lives.
Alcyone is a succubi and ironically enough, she’s looking for love. Sure, she runs a strip club and is surrounded by sex, but she wants more than that. She has a secret admirer leaving her gifts and notes and after meeting at a masquerade party, he gives her the best bang of her life – but she never saw his face. Who is he?
Char knows a relationship between himself and Alcyone will never work but he is obsessed and knows she is his mate for life. He puts himself in danger every time he goes to see her and if his family knew, they would kill him for exposing himself. Regardless, he can’t (and won’t) stay away.
There’s fire in a lot more places than just his eyes…this story is HOT! There’s just something sexy and mysterious about a dragon shifter and I can’t wait to learn more about this “family”.
I read this book for a book challenge and I was really thinking i would enjoy it, however, this book was an absolute shocker. don't know if it was because i was sick that it made it worse, but damn it was crap.
It was corny as hell sex scenes by someone who was trying to be erotic... but failed. The sad thing is, that the story behind it has some potential (hense the 1 star) I could really see the depth it could possibley go and be great. But as far as the writing "ummmm baby.. ohhh yeah... give it to me" just did not do it for me.
No depth, no passion.. no nothing and I consider myself a BIG PNR fan.
I wanted to love this book, I loved the idea of this book. But I just could NOT drag myself through one more "Ummmm" and "GODDESS" In the first 10% of the book, the dialog included some variation of Um a few dozen times. I get it, it's hot, he's yummy, and the sex is fantastic. Nothing wrong with that. I just got so irritated by the constant repeat line page after page. I stopped after they had sex the second time because I found myself saying to the characters "Don't say UMMMM again!" and they did. They did seven more times.
This book may have been smoldering further along but this was just a deal-breaker for me.

This contemporary fantasy takes you on a romp through a world hidden from humans. A world of demons and dragons.
Centuries ago the demons destroyed the last of the dragons, or so they thought. But the dragons managed to survive, though small in number, and hid themselves away from the demons in a secluded sanctuary.
All that may come to jeopardy when dragon,Char, and demon, Alcyone fall in love at first sex...um...sight.
Stella and Audra Price are gifted story-tellers. Expect to hear their names mentioned in the future.
This had some laugh out loud moments (not comedic) but the story was well enough written to be able to, at last, finish a Kindle freebie. Lots of use of the word, love which for some unknown reason started to bug the hell out of me. The book can almost be summarised from one of the sentences in the book ie ' The rebellion? Just that a good king died, an asshole killed him, and an entire race of beings was driven to extinction. . The story arc was a good one and could have been expounded into a great story - not having to rely on the laugh out loud bits.
Char watched her from afar, until he could no longer take it anymore. He had touch her to know her. The problem was that Char knew a dragon and a demon could never be together, or could they? He and his kind were forced into hiding to survive. How could he be with Alcyone and keep his friends/family safe? You can't help but want these two to be together. Char needs his mate to begin living again and Alcyone deserves to be happy. Don't miss out on Fire in his Eyes. Add this to your shelf you will not be disappointed.
Dragons. One of my favorite shifters. The author is in her element writing about shifters outside the norm of wolves. And this one proves it fully.
Being one of the last of his kind, he's strong, but alone. In comes a succubus that takes his breath away, and he proceeds to "woo" her. In comes the rest of his race... and he's not giving up his treasure.
A great start to a series, I'll be reading the next.
The book wasn't bad. I liked the characters a lot actually, but there wasn't a lot of action. What there was a lot of was insta-love with incessant annoying 'baby' talk.
If there had been more plot, I would have really enjoyed the story more. I am interested to see what happens to the other characters (particularly Perrin) so I may read more. But who knows

I really enjoyed this book. The first story in the elemental dragon series is about Char, the fire dragon finding his mate Alcyone Sterling, a demon succubus. The attraction is instant and steamy. Each character introduced was unique and I loved how each dragon was linked to an element. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
I picked this up because it featured dragon shifters and was free. The story was laid out nicely but the characters/story didn't really grab my interest and I ended up skimming the last half of the book.
Dragon Shifters are becoming a flig like vampires. As a dragon author, I am beginning to hate this new era of dragon shifters. They'll become a tired trend and will put good, true dragon authors in the slush pile. I'll read this to see if it's worth it, mainly because I like dragons.
