As a child of divorce, this play hit me with parallels. Uniting with Pop Culture references, the ways the anger manifests differently in each kid and the way we don't recognize it in each other often until we truly see our sibling hurt, and the need to work toward a maybe all struck my heart as commonalities between Rachel, Dylan, Kacie and my own sisters. Molly Smith Metzler unearths the human response to divorce by acknowledging just how the kids are affected.

This was a play that had been included in a book that I got from Dollar Tree. I really appreciated the way that the issues of a broken family were presented. I felt like Kacie was a character with a true sense of humor while Dylan seemed to think he was the funny one.
