Lily White has new neighbours. New neighbours who like to stare at her. The night after their arrival, a chilling howl fills the air and by morning, mutilated bodies have made an appearance on the news. After she finds her life intertwining with that of her new neighbours, she finds herself torn between one who hates her and the other who obsesses over her. Despite being repulsed by their cruel intensity, Lily finds herself falling for two people who don't seem to be quite as human as they first appeared...

Lily had decided to go to college close to home. Most of her friends were going away to school, so she would have to make new friends. When she walked into her Chemistry class, she found she was the only girl. She sat next to a Chinese boy and introduced herself. His name was Colin, she had her first new friend. After lunch, when they returned to class, she met the twins, Daniel and Dallas.

When she got home from school, she saw a new family moving in next door. There was a mom and dad, a pale looking boy with black hair and a girl with green eyes looking down on her from a window at the top of the house.

That same night, Lily woke to the most awful howling noise she had ever heard. She opened her window and began cussing and shouting to shut up. In the morning, splashed across the front of the newspaper was, "Two Bodies Dumped on Local Railroad Tracks". As she read on, it stated that they were terribly mangled, as if an animal had torn them apart. Could the howling she heard have been them screaming for help?

Today, Lily had Biology class. During the lunch break, the boy who moved in next door to her, sat down and introduced himself. His name was Kevin and he invited her to come over and do some gaming. She got such a weird feeling when I was around Kevin and his sister, Kaitlyn. Something just felt off about them. What was it about them that made me feel so uncomfortable?

As conflicts arise between Colin and Kevin and Daniel and Kevin, Lily began asking questions, but nobody would tell her what was going on. Why were they all being so secretive?

The book needs some editing. There were some misspellings and awkward phrasing in some places. It kept me reading, because I had to find out who was the bad guy and who was the good guy. Was Lily in danger, and who from? Was Kaitlyn good or bad? And what was up with Kevin? Why did he appear to be stalking Lily? Was Colin just a wimp? What about Daniel and Dallas? Mr. Kennedy wraps it up nicely and answers all the questions.

This story was excellent. I love the main characters, even though they're evil. I like they dynamics between Lily and Kevin & Lily & Kaitlyn.

Fantastic, can't wait to read the next one.
