The Collection contains three different stories that involve three young adults who try to live life to the fullest. Unfortunately, the struggles of life come in and they must fight to survive. The first story is about a gun runner named Freddie C that has plans to live an easy life making quick money. His cousin Jay and a friend Pac-man decide to make money an easier way. They take on an evil street hustler and his murderous crew. Freddie C is pushed into a world of greed, revenge, and betrayal. The second story involves a beautiful young girl named Janet. This young woman has a beautiful baby boy named Jaden. Janet has a loving boyfriend, a mother that supports her and a good life. A man from her past returns and complicates things for her. The last story is about an ambitious gambler named John “Dogman” Davis. Dogman will stop at nothing to make his money. He enters the world of dog fighting. Where some people try to obtain fame and fortune by any means necessary.
King James is the pen name of Frederick Williams. He became interested in writing during his service as a Navy Corpsman during the Iraqi War. Maintaining a journal during the war inspired him to start writing short stories. His first book, Urban World, is a collection of those short stories.
Williams' second book is Freedom is Not Free.
Frederick Williams is originally from Montgomery, Alabama. After returning from the war he attended Alabama State University where he graduated in 2008. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
