When darkness consumes you; will it be hard to find the light?

After Jade's world was torn apart, she is unsure of where she belongs, if anywhere at all. Deceived by those she trusted the most, she must now accept her fate and the life that lays before her.
The voices are back but this time, they are trying to lure her into the darkness. But could they be telling her the truth? That the only person she has been able to trust since the death of her boyfriend, Avan, is lying to her too? If the voices are right... Could she really trust him?

In Fallenmore, the second book in the Feathermore Trilogy, Jade will embark in a quest through the pits of Hell. The question now is: once she is in, will they ever let her out?

This one badass motherfucking amazing book. Actual review to come. It will still probably have foul language in it.

Holy sh*t, mother loving, all things good, sugar spice and everything wonderful epicity epic that book rocked my socks off and melted my face. Hardcore!
Blake is my newest book boyfriend. Hands off. I may have to get moody and handsy with you if you try and steal him. I swear.
Lucy Swing took complexity, badassery, humanity and hot boys by the horns and just dominated the sh*t out of them. Not only did the characters grow and mature but so did her writing. I really liked the first book, I f*cking loved this book. L.O.V.E. (cue horrible Ashlee Simpson song). Brrrappp...that's the machine gun fire going off in my brain about this book. I read it in less than a day. 4 hours to be exact.
Jade is no longer a girl who is maybe a little whiney. She just does what she has to do. She's pretty blind about some stuff and quite honestly, gets herself into a bunch of trouble.

The book opens where the last book ends, kind of. Jade goes in and out of being awake. When she finally wakes Blake is there by her side. No longer a figment or shadow. He embraces the role of guardian and all around temptation. Jade avoids Claire and Nate like the plague. If she does get around them she feels the darkness entering her and she knows that she may kill them. She doesn't act on this whim because she will feel remorse. She does it because Blake often holds her back. He forces her hand quiet often he keeps her on the straight and narrow. He takes his shirt offfffffffffff......................................................................................................hmmm. What? What were we talking about?
I love that Ms. Swing is able to make her YA books STEAMY without even a brush of a boob. This is what I love about YA it's the build up...so freakin fantabulous.

I am done. I can't do this review anymore. I can't I will start spilling spoilers. The book ends on a cliff hanger and I WANT FOREVERMORE NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Lucy Swing for letting me devour your book!

4.5 stars!
I’ll start with a few technical things before I rave like a schoolgirl. Well written dialogue is so important for me in a book because if it feels staccato or broken, I will not read it. That is not the case for this book. The dialogue flows well. It is fun, witty, swoony (I don’t think this is a real word, but it is today)😅 and intense. The plot progresses at a nice pace. There are no random jumps or giant holes that make no sense.

The beginning was CAPTIVATING. Jade is covered in darkness, revenge and anguish. I was swept away with the first chapter and knew that I would love the direction this book was taking. The slow-burn between Jade and Blake was killing me, like I actually thought that I might die because I was holding so much hope for them. As a reader, I felt so much more connected to Blake than I did Avan. 😍
I liked the 7 tunnels/7 deadly sins bit and how Fallen Angels were explained. There are a lot of things that happened that I loved, but they’re big spoilers… So, just read it yourself. I’m very happy with how things turned out in the end. My only wish was for the trip through hell to be longer, but it was still eventful and had a deep impact for Jade and her character progression.

The cliffhanger has me dying to read the final book! I need it now, please let my baby be okay. (Releases this summer)

Overall, this was a fast-paced, entertaining and eventful read with a slow-burn romance that will have you racing through each page to get to the end. ⭐❤

*There were a few typos from 70% to the end, but they didn’t take away from reading comprehension.

This book was a wonderful continuation to Feathermore. I read this book in one sitting because I just had to know what was going to happen. Jade lost so much in the first book, but managed to fight back and gain a lot in this book. Relationships are mended and some are beginning. Jade learns about all of her abilities and what she must do to save the ones she cares about. Jade and her best friends Claire and Nate forge back their relationship after being broken in Feathermore. They both love Jade and want to stand by her side and protect her. Then there is Blake. The mysterious guy in Feathermore finally shows himself in Fallenmore. It is revealed later in the book who he is and why he is there to help protect Jade. He's devoted and loyal to Jade and their relationship blossoms throughout the book. Jade is torn about her feelings for Blake when her heart longs for her lost boyfriend, Avan. She feels guilty for having these feelings when she feels responsible for Avan losing his life because of her.
The book kept me captivated throughout the book. I love the characters and I can't wait to see how the relationships progress in the next book. Lucy Swing is a wonderful author and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

I love Lucy Swings writing does that sound to stalkerish lol.....Feathermore was fantastic so I have to say Fallenmore is out of this world fantastic. Lucy's writing has only gotten better, the story line is great, plot well written and love finding out more about Blake.

This is a book you have to get yourself comfortable because if your like me once you start you will not put it down.

Jade is struggling with losing Avan and her parents, then Blake returns and struggling through her trust in him and herself a bond is formed. But guilt, loss and love are big issues to deal with. Can Jade make the right decisions and out of harms way.

Fallenmore is worth every moment of your time, so sit down and read this series. Lucy Swing is already one of my favorite authors and cannot wait for the next book in this series. Lucy ummm do I get to beta read haha.

As for the cliffhanger, OMG Lucy how could you do this to me?

I have rated Fallenmore 5 stars and Lucy Swing 5 stars....so really you should have a 10 star rating.

This second book of the series sure brings a lot of surprises. The development of the plot is at a steady pace and intriguing.

Jade continues to show the abilities of her newly discovered nature, although she behaves like a strongheaded teenager at times. She has been through a lot and evil pounces on her vulnerability while mourning for her losses to sway her to the dark side. She can’t see the wood for the trees when she is determined to bring Avan back. She acts before thinking things through, showing how stubborn and impulsive she can be. The true purpose and nature of Blake is also revealed. He is not treated very well by Jade, but he eventually wins her over. He would sacrifice anything for her. Will he be able to make her see reason?

Blake is the quietly confident hero and I must admit that I could connect with him more than I could with Avan. Except for the usual school nemesis, it's an unusual and interesting concept. The question is, what happens next? I intend to find out.

I literally cannot breathe right now. This book is AMAZING. There are no words. I thought Feathermore was great, but this surpassed it. I was about halfway through it and suddenly I couldn’t put it down. That ending made me so happy and then a little mad. Also, Blake makes me feel so much in this book. Everything flowed so well and everything really made sense. This has become one of my favorites of all time 😍

Love love loved the second installment of this series. It started off exactly where the first one ended.

I love how the characters develop in this book and learning more about them. Poor Jade really does struggle and it doesn't matter what she does, it always seems to go the other way for her.

The story is well written and fast paced and your left with a cliff hanger (thank god I have the third book to read). I can't wait to start the next book but I'm already sad at the thought of the series ending.

Fallenmore is the second book in the Feathermore trilogy and while I didn't quite enjoy it as much as the first book, it's still a really great instalment from Lucy Swing. It took me a good few chapters to get into this and I will admit to being a little confused at the start but once I got my bearings I was quickly hooked into this exciting world once again. We see a darker side to Jade in this book, which was definitely different but I'm not sure I like this all powerful Jade. I think Lucy Swing has taken things to another level and I really enjoy her writing style. Fallenmore is peppered with little twists and turns throughout which will keep you interested and dying to read on but again we see another killer cliffhanger ending, why oh why Lucy? lol!

Fallenmore leaves off after the major cliffhanger in Feathermore. Jade is still grieving the loss of Avan and she really would do anything to get him back. She tries to go about life as normal with the trusty Blake at her side, I love Blake by the way, he's such a cutie. But the dark side is always calling to Jade and when someone makes her an offer to get Avan back for something in return she keeps it hidden from Blake, it's not the only secret shes keeping either. Is it really too good to be true though? Well one doesn't make a deal with the devil for nothing and he will want his repayment...

The lead up to the ending is brilliant, lots of action and shockers but the cliffhanger is a little annoying. Jade finally realises who she loves, thank goodness and I am so happy with her realisation. Now I really can't wait for the final instalment in this trilogy, Lucy Swing really knows how to leave her readers begging for more...

*A big thanks to Lucy who provided a copy of Fallenmore for the blog tour*

The theme of this book should be "Be careful what you wish for" because sometimes you do get it and then it turns out not to be what you wanted after all. Jade is having huge problems adjusting to losing Avan and her parents and the loss is devastating to her. She is consumed with grief and is planning to avenge his death even though Claire was one of her closest friends. Blake is charged with helping her deal with her grief and move on with her life but she can't. Jade is having nightmares again and hearing voices but they seem almost like visions yet she cannot identify who is calling to her and telling her she can "find him." Is Avan still alive somewhere and does she have the power to save him? Jade doesn't confide in Blake as her feelings are out of control and she is being drawn to the dark shadows that seem to surround her. Who is calling her, are they real and what is the offer to find him all about. While Avan is always in her thoughts, Jade is finding herself more at ease with Blake and even seeking him out. He offers her peace and makes her feel safe and she desperately needs to feel that way right now. Nothing is what it seems, friends become enemies and enemies become allies. Secrets abound in this book, Blake is keeping one that will tear her world apart and her secret could destroy them all. Will she fight through the dark and find the light again or will she be destined to lose herself forever. This has a huge cliff hanger ending and after all Jade has fought for, her life has come full circle again and this time Jade must choose to save those she loves from an enemy that she could have never foreseen. A few minor grammatical errors but they in no way affect the story. I am really looking forward to the next one, so write quickly Lucy please.

I first fell in love with Lucy Swing’s characters in FEATHERMORE. It was one of those books I simply could not put down. The same held true for FALLENMORE.

FALLENMORE picks up right where FEATHERMORE leaves off. We find Jade continuing to struggle with the grief of losing her parents as well as losing her boyfriend, Avan. She is growing stronger and coming into her powers. The voices she heard in book one seem to have returned, the darkness calling to her and threatening to consume her. We also learn more about Blake, about his role in Jade’s life, and about the choices that Jade will have to make - choices that will, quite literally, lead her to Hell and back. Throughout it all, Blake remains by her side, caring for her, protecting her, and waiting for her. Add to that her determination to find and be reunited with Avan no matter the cost, her growing feelings for Blake and the turmoil this creates within her, and the reader has a story with twists, turns, secrets, and romantic tension that make FALLENMORE impossible to put down.

By the end of FALLENMORE, Lucy Swing will have you even more hooked, and the intense cliffhanger ending will shock you. You will find yourself unable to resist the world she has created, in love with her characters (ahem, especially Blake - trust me on this one), and in the final lines of the novel saying, as I did, “What? No! Wait! There has to be more!”

WHOO! This book was heads and shoulders above Feathermore (and I had enjoyed that one, too, so it tells you how much I loved this one)! I love being able to see an author grow, in such a short period of time. The book is well paced, the characters are dynamic, and there is a touch of sophistication to this book that was lacking in the first.
Jade is going through a lot, after what happened throughout Feathermore. What I love most about this is that her reactions are completely realistic. I can completely relate with her reasoning and the motivation for her actions.
The pace is a slowed down a little in the beginning, but this allows for phenomenal character development. Even though Claire and Nate take a back seat, I still felt like I got to know them a little better. And because Jade was now handling a lot more without her duo of friends, she grew into a strong, female lead.
And then there's Blake. I had felt him drawing me in, in the first book, and now he has completely captured my heart! He's funny, sexy, and just a little bit sarcastic. Where has he been all my life?!
And now for my favourite part. This book is dark. And I'm not talking about white, with a little gray around the edges. I'm talking black. I love what Jade is struggling with, and how Lucy Swing has managed to paint a believable struggle between good and evil.

Simply. Awesome.

I wonder how long I'll have to wait for Forevermore...

A Fantastic Continuation of the Feathermore Trilogy. Fallenmore picks up right where things left off in its prequel. Some major questions have been answered, but only more seem to pile up as Jade tries to come to grips with what she’s become, though that, in itself, is one of the big mysteries. Unlikely allegiances and betrayal at every turn, then of course, there’s lots of kick-ass fighting which Ms. Swing does an exceptional job with portraying. A small downside with this book was that it seemed rushed with lots of misspelled words and about halfway through the formatting changed, then a chapter or two later it shifted back…then it changed again. Some might be able to overlook this, but it actually drove me a little crazy and it effected how quickly I could move through the story. Regardless of that, I still think this is a great novel and I look forward to reading the third and final installment.

IT was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!
after reading the book MY EXPRESSION!!!

i was so glad that she chose to save Avan but finally she ended up with BLAKE!!!

Cause im so happy she chose the second guy, cause usually the girl chooses the first guy and gives up the second one even though the second guy is better!

lets get to the story! n

the story picks right after what happened in the woods, but then it picks up after 3 months...it was Awesome how Blake helped Jade train and stuff

the only thing i didn't like is the CLIFFHANGER!!!! and i think the story was really fast and everything rushed up in the end and there was not much of action and was kind of predictable
recently ive read soooo many AWESOME! books that its hard to like many books but this was good! i loved it but the cover isnt so amazing..why is that now anyways i loved!

*Taps Mic 🎙* AHHHHHHHH
I was so excited to get this book, and it absolutely did not disappoint. This book picks up where Feathermore ends and immediately there is a sense of urgency in Jade to get answers for her supernatural existence that were previously avoided or withheld because those around deemed her unready. Let me tell you Jade is ready, and with a vengeance. With so many unforeseen twists you will not want to put this book down.

Jade is just as strong and determined as previously shown in Feathermore and her ability to roll with the punches never stopped. Even through mourning Avan, Jades world is less than ordinary and she doesn’t sit around waiting for things to happen. With a proper introduction to Blake the reader easily falls in love and roots for him in his tasks and seeing him bond with jade is so heart warming and as the reader you just want them together.

The outcome of this books is no where close to being predictable and I absolutely loved that about Swings writing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 4.5/5

excellent follow up to feathermore. the story line was great and didn't have a lot of extra useless fluff that you get with some stories. jades character really grew in the book, from being very vindictive to finally being able to see for the first time her purpose and to not only think of herself but to think of how what she does affects others. loved the cliff hanger and can't wait to see what's next!

I love the story line and the characters. You can feel all of the pain Jade feels after kissing her parents and Avan and you can't help but want her to avenge them, but at the same time you are cheering for her to do the right thing. The only real thing that drove me crazy was all editing errors. There are a lot of word with out spaces and words missing. It definitely needs to go through another editing process.

So this book made me very angry for a long time! Jade would just not get over Avan, to see the boy that loved her unconditionally and took care of her in her darkest hours RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER FACE. Blake was picture perfect from the moment she met him. And then the ending?!?!?! GAH!!!! I can't even go there. I really loved this book, just like the first one. I cannot wait for the next one.

I enjoyed it more than the first and can't wait for the third in the trilogy but it is somewhat disjointed and has quite a few grammatical errors. It seems more of a rough draft. It has great ideas and storyline but could use a bit of editing and clarification. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 is because it was still an enjoyable read and had some great characters like Jade and Blake.

I enjoyed this book however it was all over the place and many times I found myself yelling, SERIOUSLY you are NOT still thinking...the other MAJOR irritant was the spelling, and grammar and it was hands down the worst spell checked/edited book I've ever written. Ulitimately I looked past it, difficult though it was and enjoyed it.

I would highly recommend you read book one before you jump into this one.
I read book one years ago and when I started reading this one I was a bit lost at first. Jade has lost a lot and is determined to stop at nothing to bring Avan back to her. He should not have died. Blake who is there to help and protect Jade sees everything she is going through and reminds her not to do it. But, when do we Know that us ladies will listen? Never! The most concerning is that Jade feels the darkness closing in on her and that is not something she wants, yet how much longer can she push it away? Choices will be made but are they the correct ones? Sounds like Blake will be having his hands full with trying to keep Jade safe.
There were a lot of grammatical errors within the book a lot more than what should have been. One of my main reasons for giving this book a 4 star rating.
