After reading this work, I realised I have never asked myself how some books, although they were written centuries ago, still have a great effect on the readers. This work explains the evolution of books, the way in which the readers see it and also, their social function. Plus examples which helped me understand better. It took me a pretty long time to finish it due to its difficult language, but I consider it was of great help to me.

Buen libro, sobretodo para replantear teorías estéticas de ciertas épocas.
