In all due honesty, the last book of this series was a big dissapointment. I just struggled to finish it and follow the plot line.

In this book, Kylie’s actions and personality really made me dislike her. I felt that she just grew up to be a whiny adult. She is completely dependent on Jonathan. And she lost her backbone and entire wit. I used to love her spunk and humor. Now it’s all lost. Plus, this book takes several place over several years and I feel that we have lost Kylie. She just got worse over the years. I understand she went through so much, but ugh.

Jonathan in this book also did not really make feel too warm and cozy. Jonathan just was not the book boyfriend I looked up to. I felt that he was way too much a lovesick fool. I love his swoon actions. That did make the book much more bearable. But I honestly lost all sympathy in him because of his constant lies. He claims to protect Kylie, but he just treats her like a piece of china.

The biggest issue in this book is the entire plot line. There were some pluses like the entire twist and prophecy thing going on. However, the first three fourths were all romance and sap. It just felt over the top cheesy. We lost the entire adorable teen romance. Instead, it became an adult romance running for their lives. Wedding, having kids, and just nothing really much happening. My biggest issue is the entire time span. Several years man. Several years it takes for things to be figured out. That just irked me. Also, the entire climax was just so anticlimactic. We only have proper action and the real twist come at the very end. And then we have so many characters killed off for no reason. Plus, there were just so many unanswered questions. At the end of this book, I was just wondering about so many things. I think this book series maybe would have worked better if it was four, but I am glad.

Overall, this book is a big disappointment. I felt it was nothing at par with the first two books. It made me really frustrated. I really don’t recommend reading this series despite having an awesome second book because the third one leaves you just frustrated. I will give this book three stars though because I did have some memorable moments.

I’m a little disappointed with this series. Not one of my favourites. I enjoyed the Outsider series a lot more than this one. I found it so predictable and a lot like the Twilight Saga.

Forever

Once again another awesome book!! The story was great along with the characters! The story held plenty of excitement and some sadness as well but so worth reading.

Final Book

This is the final book in the trilogy & it brings together all the threads from the previous two books.
It was good to see Jonathan & Kylie get their HEA

I breezed right through this trilogy, so of course it had to be a good series. There was nothing really remarkable about it, but it was still pretty good. Anyone who likes soul mates or vampire books, would enjoy this book. Fair warning the writing can kind of be annoying at time.

P.S. If Gabriel had his own book, I'd read it in a heartbeat.
