Porn Stars...More Than Just Moans
The lives of these porn stars are filled with more than just screams and moans. From the heights of fame to their murderous lows, they are anything but dull. Jasmine “Jezebel” left home for the city of dreams. She wanted to be an actress and thought that nothing could stop her. Fantasy Pictures is run by Mr. Bobby Capello and his son Breeze. No other porn studio can compare to the porn empire they created. Damaging secrets, grimy business practices, and pure lust are housed behind the heavy warehouse doors. Fulfilling your every desire comes with a hefty price tag. When Breeze falls for Jasmine, and she falls for someone else, neither Tanya, Breeze’s live-in girlfriend who despises Jazzy, nor Lust, Jasmine’s lover, can handle the tug-of-war that will play out. Who stands to lose what, and who will win? With Jamar and DeeDee Delight (Mr. Capello’s lover) being her only true friends, they all will have to make choices that may come back to haunt them in the end.

When I saw the title of this book I laughed and thought I have to read this. I worked behind the scenes at an adult magazine & video company for a year and wanted to see if the authors really did their research or if they were just going to write what they thought the business is really like. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. This book is told from the point of view of 2 of the main characters Jasmine(Jazz) and Jamar(Krave), with each chapter alternating. I must say that the characters are VERY believable. Jazz had dreams of becoming a movie star but when things didn't work out she turned to porn. Jamar on the other hand set out to become a porn star. They quickly become good friends and take us into their steamy, sex, and drug filled world. My only problem with this story is that the book doesn't tie up loose ends. I understand that there is a second part coming soon but I felt that this book opened with a bang and ended with too many questions left unanswered. But I will be waiting to see what happens next. Fast paced and fun read!!!

Just finished Reading Porn Stars and I really enjoyed the book, it sure was a page turner that kept you wanting more. It was hot, steamy, yet full of drama, lies and betrayal!! This book took us on the "inside" as to what it may be like being a Porn Star, and how they deal with many things. Even though this book was written by two people it never messed up the flow of the book or the characters. The characters were able to tell their sides of the story and we were able to see t from each ones point of view. I am upset with how it ended just because I ddnt really want it to end i wanted to see what was next...soo cant wait for part 2!!!

Money is the Root Of All Evil.
I have to start by saying I enjoyed this book more than I did "The Art Of Deceit" by Fabiola Joseph. The biggest drawback of both books was the over saturation of sex. I will say the sex scenes worked much better in this novel and yes, it still irked me. This was a good calibration between the two authors, but towards the end, it gave the deja vu feeling as each chapter alternated between Jazzy and Jamar telling the same events from each of their eyes.
Jazzy came to LA with hopes and a dream. Being broke has led her to audition to be a porn actress. Jazzy gets the job and her stage name become Jezebel. Along with becoming a top money maker, she begins to date the second in command Breeze and that in itself becomes work, as he very overbearing. The drama these two went through was crazy and kept me interested to see how things were going to turn out.
Jamar is an established gay porn star. When he sees Tyree your average heterosexual man, while he’s out for a night on the town with his friends he will stop at nothing to get Tyree to flip on his side. The interaction is weird to read about being a straight woman. I couldn't relate to Jamar (or Tyree for that matter) but I was in his corner as he had a genuine good heart. I have to admit the gay sex made me a little uneasy. I have read gay fiction before but man, this book was VERY graphic. I did find more of the gay scenes over the top and freakish, they left me looking at straight men with the side eye.
The appearances from "The Art Of Deceit" characters left me a confused as TAOD happened first and the events in the book seem to happen before the end of TAOD. I was left questioning some of the events of TAOD as they didn't add up with the appearances here. With that being said this was a cliff hanger so you will have to read part two see how it ends. Never the less I want to continue with part two of both TOAD and Porn Stars.

Porn Stars was a true page turner. This book alternates from Jasmine aka Jezebel to Jamar aka Krave, showing the different things they are experiencing in the porn industry. All Jasmine wants to do is make it big, but Breeze (her current boss and sometimes love interest at Fantasy Pictures) doesn't want to let her go. Jamar is dealing with his own issues with his lover Tyree, while dealing with betrayal in the worst way. This book is full of unforgettable characters, I couldn't put it down. You have the straight, you have the Bi, and even the gay for pay. Fabiola and Matthew take you on a hot and steamy ride, while revealing everything that goes on behind the scenes in the porn world. This was a great read and I can't wait until the next installment!

You would think that the world of Porn Stars was an easy feat. Definitely not in this book. There are so many twists and turns going around that you'd never know what's going to turn up next. A wild ride and book that I couldn't put down. I would definitely recommend this one and I'm waiting patiently for the next installment!

i got to 37% and i just couldnt bring myself to finish. i felt the story just dragged and there was no action or drama that caught my attention. im not sure whether i would recommend this book to others

It took me a while to finish the book but overall I enjoyed it. It started out a little slow for my personal taste but once the drama got rolling it kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed reading about Krave and Konceited more than I enjoyed Jazzy's story because I didn't get the big WOW that I was waiting for when it came to her. I will say that Fab and Matt did a great job describing the scenes, a couple of times I felt like I was actually on the set with them. If you're not into sex scenes this book won't be for you because some of the scenes between involving Krave and Konceited had me covering my eyes lol. This story showed that there is way more behind the glitz and glam of working in the Porn industry. 3.5 *s

"Porn Stars..More Than Moans was a very entertaining and seductive read. It explores what goes down behind the scenes of the porn industry. I can tell you right now, if you are looking for a story of moans, money, and glitz, you are very mistaken. Instead, be prepared to enter a world of fighting, backstabbing, lies, betrayal, deceit, and loss of self respect. I guess it's true what they say, people will do anything for that almighty dollar.
Porn Stars was a good read. I loved how the story alternated between Jazz and Krave.It started off a little slow but quickly picked up. Can't wait for part 2!

This book, by Fabiola Joseph and Matthew Ramsey, provides behind the scenes look at the life of a porn star. The novel is written in such a way that you feel you really get to know the characters. You will love some, and you will hate others, but the story will keep you intrigued and will leave you wanting more. This was another story that made me mad because I had waited so long to read it, and had me rushing over to amazon to 1 click part 2!
