كتاب رائع، شامل وموجز في الآن معاً. ورغم صغر حجمه، فهو كثيف و مليء بالمعلومات المشوِّقة لعديد الطوائف والملل المسيحية في العالم العربي، سواء من حيث معتقداتها أو تاريخها، وذلك منذ بداية ظهورها وحتى يومنا هذا.

كنت قد قرأت النسخة الأصلية لهذا الكتاب، حين صدرت باللغة الإنكليزية قبل عشرات السنين، من قِبَل سمو الأمير الحسن بن طلال في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، لإطلاع القارئ الغربي على تاريخ المسيحية في العالم العربي. وقد قدَّمَ للأصل الإنكليزي آنذاك، الأمير تشارلز (ملك بريطانيا اليوم) في المملكة المتحدة. أقرؤها اليوم بحِلَّتها العربية، فأجدها بنفس البهاء والأناقة والإمتاع والموضوعية.

جدير بالقراءة، غني وغزير بالمعلومات، لكل المهتمّين بالتاريخ الديني للطوائف والملل، على أنواعها ومذاهبها المتنوعة المختلفة.

الكتاب يتحدث عن تاريخ المسيحية في العالم العربي منذ نزولها والى اين وصل بها الحال ، بعض العبارات حقيقة لم استطع ان افهمها جيداً ربما لقلة بحثي ومعرفتي عن المسيحية ، كتاب جميل جدا
