Poverty Prepping: How to Stock up For Tomorrow When You Can't Afford To Eat Today

Rate this book
A lot of people think they don't have enough money to store extra food for emergencies. It's a struggle just to make ends meet and afford what they need right now. I think anyone can start to prepare for the future. My husband and I have a 4-figure annual income that isn't even close to hitting five figures. If we can do it, you can too. We're not just telling you how to do it, we're living it! Don't be put off by books, websites, and forums that lead you to think you have to buy expensive pre-packaged food storage, or foods that you're not familiar with. Stocking up doesn't have to be expensive or complicated. You can get started with just a few dollars a month. If, at the end of the book, you still don't think you can do it, send me an email and we'll talk. I've included my email address, my blog link, and we're working on a website.

Good basic information on a budget of supplies

This book just detailed basic supplies you s should have and how to store them and how to do it when u don't have a lot of extra money to start with. This would be a good book to start with. For example I didn't realized that cooking oil like olive and stuff can go rancid after a certain amount of time. Of course that means I dont do much cooking as there are more like me who also just go and get prepared food but now the climate is changing and gas is hitting 4$ a gallen or more depending where you live. So time to get cooking( ha ha ) I think I need a basic cook book too

Summary...find a way to find $10.00 a month. Buy flour, beans, rice. Find some fruits and vegetables at some point.

Might be the most boring thing I've ever read. It is a short book but most of it was just her rambling like a maniac.

Simple and informative.

A good beginner's book to guide you towards prepping even if you only have a small apartment. Easy to read.

Poverty Prepping (non-fiction)

Interesting and timely information. A very quick and basic read. Some ideas on how to slowly stock up on foodstuffs (mostly) while living on a very low income.

Meh. That's about all I can muster for this one. Good book idea in theory, but poorly delivered. She could have used an editor for all the typos I found.
