MURDER—it’s the game that has to be put down when rivals step to you, and Noonie has done just that with, Keysha, a sharpshooting sista who is deadly when it comes to pistol play, but when the police are looking for the two killers of a few drug dealers, Noonie and Keysha must go underground.
LOVE—does it live here anymore? That’s the question Chantel and Noonie have to ask each other when Chantel is fed up with Noonie dragging his feet with popping the question, and it doesn’t help that she’s a bit jealous of Trish who Slim weds within months of meeting her.
GUNSMOKE—rises when a new crew of Haitians led by a ruthless, yet street savvy woman, Laurette Petit, and her sons, take aim at Slim’s crew. They do drive-bys and stick-ups and have no problem with letting the lead fly and no cares of where the rounds make their home. After the death of one of the members of their crew, Slim realizes he must retaliate and he decides to show everyone that when the smoke clears and it’s all said and done—he’s that n****.

a beautiful love story of an organization ran by family and loyalty
Again, I’m ecstatic and very pleased with this author consistency with his writing. His storylines are incredible. I like how he leaves no stones unturned. He doesn’t leave you hanging or waiting for what next. He address his plots and twists b4 each book ends. I’m not gonna stop reading until I have read each and every one of these books in this series. I realize I read this series and The Family series out of sequence but it really doesn’t make a difference bc this series floats with The Family bc of the familiar characters. The Corner series introduces all the major players and how all this started from beginning to end. I just love Slim and his crew, they are the truth but I feel they are honorable and good people unless you cross them 1st and they will deal you some street justice. I love how their organization is set up by friendship, family and loyalty. They love each other.

This is one series that I'm totally hooked on. I wouldn't be surprised if the books turned into a mini series on HBO.. Mr Alex Richardson hands down to you..I can't wait for book 7 to come out.
