Trey quickly learns he has been thrown into a world of everyman for themselves, a far cry from his past tight crew, built on trust and loyalty. Never admitting to a soul at being socially inept, he struggles to build allies and does not know who to trust and who is out there to bury him. Having to also face his personal battles, he cannot escape the constant feeling of isolation and loneliness, the results of leading such a solitary life. His insecurities are ever present, from relationships to searching for his identity, something that was stripped away from him.

Trey’s past has never been far behind him and when his old friend, Jessica, has a target on her back, Trey is her only hope. However, to cut all ties and plot his escape Trey must go against everything he has known and put his fate in someone else’s hands.

Despite the three stars I did enjoy reading this book. The story does grab you and keeps you intrigued until the end. A definite page turner. Perhaps needed a little more editing and depth to the characters before being published. A good read though.
