Sadly its only 2 stars cause there is no 2 1/2 stars Let mw first begin with the " Now a major award-winning TV series " - what a lot of crab - that is false advertising !!!!!
Why I say that is because the TV series and books are completely different only the names of the caracters are the same and thats where it stops - the plot and everything else is different So if you liked the TV series then dont expect it to be even closely as the book.
Dont get me wrong the books are also good well the previous books were good but this book was a bit weak for me I didnt really enjoyed it, ok there were parts that was good but seriously this wasnt Dexter and I felt a bit cheated by it cause it wasnt what I thought it would be even his dark passanger didnt like it because it hid most of the times.
Well there is still 2 more books in the series and i hope that those books will be a much more improvement of book 6.
If you have watched the television series and you’re coming into the book expecting the exact same thing, prepare to have your mind blown (or to be disappointed, depending upon whether or not you wanted an exact replica).
The Dexter books and the Dexter show (the thing that sent so many people searching for the books) are too completely separate entities, sharing only names – and the fact that we have a serial killer killing other killers. A lot of people are put off by the changes you find between the two, yet in my opinion it’s a nice take. I would have been disappointed if it had been the same.
I admit, it wasn’t exactly what I expected but it was still interesting.
