I bought this for my son who was 6 at the time. It HAS to be one of the most interesting and innovative books out there.

This book is written like a travel guide to Ancient Rome. EVERYTHING is discussed: currency, the customary food of the day, what they did for recreation, what they wore and I could go in and on...

Combine all of this important cultural information along with the actual historical events of the time-period and doing it in this fun and innovative way? I'm totally a fan.
