OMG!! What a warning!!!

WARNING: This portrayal of Alice contains her sexual discoveries with hot, strong men and their unique, fantastic talents: M/F, M/F/M/F, M/F/M/M/M/M/M/M/M/M/M/M, and lots of sex with strangers! If you read this book and its steamy, explicit sexual content, the Cheshire cat won't be the only one wearing a wicked grin. For 18 years and older.

This is both a verra hawt and a fun read! And come on, check out that smexxy warning!! LOL!!! In this story of wonderlust, um, wonderland, Alice founds herself going down a hole and in a strange land filled with naked men who are clueless about how to give a girl pleasure...wait a minute, maybe we have all gone down this rabbit hole at one time or another! Hee Hee! But it's fun to follow Alice in this fantasy land where she is learning and exploring and...well, um, you know!!

I would totally recommend this naughty tale to anyone who luvs a smexxy twist on a classic story.

Having read the original Alice in Wonderland, as well as the sequel (and the movies), and having loved them all, I couldn't help but pick up this little gem. Liz Adams is a first class writer, with a heck of an imagination and a libido to match.

Alice has never experienced an orgasm, and never has she felt that loss more keenly than when trying to express her interest in childhood heart-throb, her family's gardener, Jack. When she falls down the rabbit hole and enters into this strange new Wonderland, this singular shortcoming becomes her driving challenge to overcome. From one lover to the next, one highly-charged erotic situation to the next, we get to follow Alice in pursuit of the big O. You don't have to be a fan of the original story to keep up with and fall in love with this author's rendition. This is not your grandmother's Harlequin. You won't find your standard-issue, color-by-numbers romance anywhere in these pages, but I loved this book anyway and I thought the ending particularly wonderful. This story is both fun and funny, strangely modern and yet with a Victorian-era feel to the description, and sexy as hell to read. I can definitely recommend it to anyone in search of GOOD erotica. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in this book!

I loved this story! It was too short, and I found myself wanting more. But it was a fun, quick read that had me laughing and clapping like a seal.
Alice found herself down a hole and in a strange land where men ran around naked and didn't know the first thing about a woman and her girly parts.
I loved visiting all the characters and the dirty deeds Alice helped them out with along the way.

I would totally recommend this book to the Alice fans every where. You'll appreciate the Hatter and the Hare....just sayin! MEOW!

This is a delicious reinterpretation of Alice in Wonderland. Ms. Adams does a great job with incorporating the original and giving her twisted perverts view. It's not as depraved as it is erotic with arousing delights.

The beloved characters Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Jack, Cheshire cat and others feature in this story. The only thing missing was a f/f between Alice and the Queen of Hearts. Perhaps there is a follow up story for this with the Queen of Hearts giving Alice "le petite mort".

This is definitely a winner for me. For those looking for a fast paced story with little downtime between the sexual interludes. Tasty! Recommended for kinky readers who love fairy tales retold.

A fun change of pace. I haven’t read a lot of erotica, mostly Victorian era stuff. Whipping and spanking don’t do it for me. So thought I’d see what modern women were writing. It hasn’t changed all that much, but hey, there aren’t that many variations on the theme. I’m a big Alice in Wonderland fan, and the elements of the original that she used made me laugh.

I loved this erotic story, based upon the children's timeless classic Alice in Wonderland. This however, is very much the adult version, a very erotic and unique uptake on Alice's Sexual Discovery in Wonderland. Meet characters, familiar yet so very different, from Rabbit to the Queen of Hearts and a never to be forgotten Mad Hatter's Party but it is teapot of a very strange and erotic kind. I loved Liz Adams story, her very adult rhymes and it brings a new concept to Eat me, Drink me. All wrapped up is Alice in a romance of will it or won't it be a HEA?
Because of it's cleverly imaginative and very unusual, it appealed to me a lot and I considered it for 4 and 5 star but for me it just hits the 5 star level. Have been to get Liz's other two erotic fairytales on the base of this one.

I reread but still love this erotic story, based upon the children's timeless classic Alice in Wonderland. This however, is very much the adult version, a very erotic and unique uptake on Alice's Sexual Discovery in Wonderland. Meet characters, familiar yet so very different, from Rabbit to the Queen of Hearts...of if ever there was a Domme she is my archetypical dominant female. Then the never to be forgotten Mad Hatter's Party but it is a teapot of a very strange and erotic kind. I loved Liz Adams story, her very adult rhymes and it brings a new concept to Eat me, Drink me. All wrapped up is Alice and her striving to achieve an orgasm, but in a hint of bizarre romance of will it or won't it be a HEA?

Have read Liz's other erotic fairytales on the base of this one, but so far this to me is the best, though her version of Goldilocks is well worth a read too.

Alice has only ever wanted Jack the family gardener no one else compares with him. Yet she's not even sure he feels the same about her. When she falls down rabbit hole is embarks on sexual discovery that will not only leave her panting trying to achieve the elusive O as in orgasm. She wonders if Jack would want her as inexperienced as she is or will she achieve sexual lessons that rock not only her world but those around world's too. What will Alice learn? Will she achieve the elusive O? Will Jack return her feelings? Your answers await you in Alice's Sexual Discovery in a Wonderful Land.

Reading this book was fascinating and full of surprises too. Alice definite learns the new meaning of trying to experience whatever she may from everyone. We do meet the usual characters from Alice in Wonderland which lead to interesting and highly erotic experiences for Alice. I thought the author did wonderful job using classic characters into new twists. I will definitely check out more work by this author. But now it's time to find the hubby for my own version of sexual discovery.

Alice has been in love with Jack, the gardener, since she was a teenager. The one attempt she had at expressing her feelings though turned out to be a bit of an embarrassment, now home for the holiday's from University, Alice finds herself in a voyeuristic situation with Jack that gives her hope, only to be deflated shortly after. With a feeling of angst, Alice finds herself embarking on a interesting journey trying to find the mysterious O, which always seems to be within her grasp but never found. With the help of interesting characters in the strange place she is visiting, Alice begins a sexual discovery that hopefully one day Jack will benefit from.

An erotic twist of the Alice in Wonderland series. I thought this was intriguing read, you are immediately drawn in and you can't put it down. Liz Adams brilliantly retells a a naughty version of a classic.

If you read the blurb, you can not say you were not warned, this is a serious erotica read!! Oh hell yes!! This is the smexiest reinvention of an old classic I have ever read!!! Oh la, you are going to need to read this one while in the cold shower or sitting in a tub of ice!!! This is a hot and heavy hardcore read that does not apologize for all the steam! There is a thin story here but when you have all this sexy action going on who has time for story!!

Terrific writing and storytelling that is beautifully paced. I can not wait to see what other classic Ms Adams takes on!! After this one I will probably always blush when reading Alice or watching the movie! Pretty sure this is a version that will stay with me for a very long time!!

This book was WILD! Oh my goodness I could never have imagined up the situations Liz Adams has Alice participate in! The story was interesting, some was funny, but for the most part it was just down right scorching!
We get to follow Alice's journey through Wonderland as she gets to learn all about giving and receiving pleasure. She ends up having some sort of sexual interlude with almost everyone she meets (and this includes the "croquet mallet" LOL) and no two experiences are the same.
I can't wait to read the next part of her adventure in Alice's Erotic Adventures Through the Mirror!

This was definitely an interesting read. I haven't read Alice in Wonderland, though I have a very general idea about it. Some of the specific references I didn't get, but that didn't affect my impression of the story. It was definitely bizarre, but it's supposed to be. And it was quite steamy, but of course, it's supposed to be that as well. And while it was really bizarre, it was pretty well written. And I really liked that it worked out for Alice and Jack.

Oh my God this was unbelievably fun. I honestly didn't feel like this was targeted at me-- I'm trans and don't feel like most erotica is targeted at me-- but I think this book pretty objectively accomplishes what it intends to, which is to be silly and sexy and throw literally dozens of men at its protagonist. Not only that, but it's insanely faithful to the events of the original book, even as every single one of them is expertly pervd. (Kind of a shame to think Lewis Carroll was likely too much of a prude to appreciate what a wonderful tribute this is.) And a lesbian side character! I had so much fun.

Recommend to people with a good sense of humor or are really really really interested in Alice. Or, like me, who are interested in the more mainstream (TBF, this is indie pub) erotica writing.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I have always been a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and since I discovered smut the beginning of this year, I was so happy to find this book and this talented author! This was a perfect mix of plot and smut for me. I love how it didn't stray too much away from the original storyline plot as well. All the spice was top notch and this book quickly climbed to the top of my favorites list! It is very well written and had me turned on constantly. Such a hot read! I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read more from Liz Adams!

I always like a good retelling. I picked this with great expectations. It’s a good read however I’ve read some better Alice retellings. It was a bit drawn out in places but again still good. Took me longer to read because I wasn’t feeling well but this could be a good quick read. I think I’ll try the next book in this series and see how I feel. Try it out.

Having returned from university for the holidays, Alice can't shake the truth: She's still in love with her childhood crush Jack, the buff and handsome gardener. But as inexperienced as she is with the fine art of sexuality, and having never been able to achieve the big O, will she ever be good enough to satisfy Jack? A fall deep down a well takes her to an erotic Wonderland fairy tale where she can do her due diligence at learning how to please a man and how to achieve orgasm. And will her erotic fairy tale help her discover the key to her own pleasure? Amazon.com

I'm writing this during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics and the Queen of Hearts, so important to the story of Alice just popped up. How appropriate.

But when I first began to read it I thought it was ridiculous. No one in college is as naive as portrayed, but then I realized that this all takes place in our recent past; a past where the world, and young women of means, were just a bit more innocent. Maybe. But this is an adaptation of a fairytale so she gets quite a bit of leeway. And quite an adaptation it is. There's a plot and interesting characters. But, two things make it mostly work; Inventive sex. Very unreal: sometime very silly; as silly as Tweedle twins. The second factor is that although it's inspired and very much based on the original Alice in Wonderland, it doesn't try to copy it, or completely duplicate it. It's that plasticity in adaptation of the story that gives it legs. It also allows for a lot of different partners. The author discusses that:

I found writing this erotic version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland more challenging than I had anticipated. Wanting to stay true to the original story, I noticed that Alice never stayed with one character long enough to build a meaningful relationship. As a result, in this erotic version, she ends up traveling from character to character having sexual encounters with each one. If you prefer erotic romance, I'm afraid you'll be greatly disappointed. But if you're looking for a fun frolic in Alice's wonderland with many of the familiar characters, this will be just your cup of tea! Amazon.com

It's not perfect. The writing is occasionally a bit awkward. And, like I said the sex occasionally is just silly, especially the teapot scene. But despite that I really enjoyed it.

With those caveats, you might enjoy this novella.

Sexualising classic childhood characters isn’t a new trend. With the costumes, illustrations and porno versions, erotica parodies are just another form of art. This is the case with Liz Adams’s Alice’s Sexual Discovery in a Wonderful Land. By using Lewis Carrol’s classic as a base for her erotica, she created a story that’s hilarious, questionable, and maybe a little bit sexy.

The plot is as elaborate as many porn plots are. Young Alice has a crush on the dreamy gardener Jack. However, her inexperience with sex might stop them from becoming a couple. When Alice fails to cum after masturbating, her dreams crumble. What guy would want to be with a girl that can’t cum? We all know that that’s the number one priority for all men. Her desperation to be able to cum and please Jack leads her to Wonderful Land where she meets people and has sex with them, desperately trying to get an orgasm with each encounter.

Of course, Adams uses key elements of the original story. She turns small and big, deals with the Red Queen, and meets an erotica version of most characters. I hate to admit it, but the fairy tale component works. Adams displayed childhood innocence discovering sex in a way that actually makes sense. The juxtapositions remind me of the awkward instances when I discovered the many forms of sexuality. Sure, my fantasies were never as wild or realistic as Alice’s, but the feeling is still there.

However, using a childlike protagonist in an erotica can be a problem. Alice just acted too much like a twelve year old for my liking. Her naivety and sudden righteousness when she was the only one that knew what sex was in the Wonderful land reminded me of my younger cousins. I had to remind myself that she was a College student and it was uncomfortable at times. Even her constantly changing opinion was a tad immature. This is a girl that was licked by a stranger, but wasn’t sure if she could suck him back because they only just met. Keep in mind that this is after she has forms of sex with other strangers moments after meeting them. I’m all for her saying no, but her reasoning had to be stronger if she’s an adult.

The sex scenes were either a hit or miss. If you can think about a threesome where a girl is also being fucked by a teapot without laughing or having to take a double take, you will enjoy most of the scenes. They were definitely unusual, which is something I’m sure you can’t say about most eroticas.

Originally I was going to give the book 6,9 to match the crude humor, but then Adams carelessly included rape and abuse. It was just included to show how nice Alice was, and didn’t feel right. The sexual scenes were still interesting, and the use of a classic children’s story actually worked. The story was still uncomfortable at times or it didn’t make sense, but the lack of logic is understandable considering the original source. Alice’s Sexual Discovery in a Wonderful Land is worth 5.7/10 for me.

Original article at my blog, CD Foxwell's Erotic Den of Erotica

This erotic fiction reviewing lark has been something of a voyage of discovery. I have already enjoyed a story about a gangbang far more than I thought I would, but even up until very recently I didn't think I would be reading something called 'Fairy Tale Erotica'. I'll be honest, I didn't even know such a sub-genre existed. But if you're going to dive in to the great big jacuzzi of erotica, you have to go naked, lubed-up and open-minded, so here I am, having just finished one of the most bizarre things I've ever read. And I've read Dr Seuss and everything.

In filmic terms, this book is what you might expect if David Cronenberg, David Lynch, Tim Burton and Tinto Brass were locked in a room together for too long with only a Lewis Carroll paperback and some hallucinogenics for company.

We join Alice in her late teens. She has well and truly discovered her sexuality and finds herself lusting after a sexy gardener. There are two problems: one, she doesn't believe he would ever fancy her, and two, and this is Alice's really big problem, she doesn't believe she can satisfy a man or even achieve orgasm herself.

Before long, Alice finds herself in Liz Adams' outrageous version of Wonderland. If you thought Carroll's version was odd, you need to read this. It is unlike anything else I've ever read: Alice opens herself to the fingers of curious males who think her love juice is an elixir; Alice swims in her own cum; Alice is licked out by a human caterpillar; Alice plays penis croquet; Alice instigates a four-car sex train that features the Hatter, the Hare and a teapot.

Alice is almost constantly wet, always rocking on the edge of an orgasm, her skirt up and down like a possessed yo-yo, desperate to devour just about every male being she sees. But will all this lust help in her desperate pursuit of Jack the Gardener?

This story is a triumph of imagination, a bizarre yet forensic investigation of one young woman's sexual insecurities, set in an innocent land that is nevertheless teeming with sex and sexual tension, whether the characters recognise it or not. In all those senses it is wonderful. But - and the argument as to whether this is important or not is for another time - did it turn me on? The answer is no. Whether that's to do with a discomfort in sexualising a character from my childhood; or because sometimes the descriptions of the sex scenes were difficult to follow; or because the erotic segments were too raucous and weird to be 'sexy', I'm not quite sure.

You may feel differently. Suck it and see, as this Alice might have said.

Alice's Sexual Discovery in a Wonderful Land by Liz Adams is definitely not your mama's bedtime fairytale. And just as stated in the description it is not an erotic romance. No...this book is a raunchy wild ride of Alice's sexual discovery down the rabbit hole and is not for the faint of heart.
Alice has always had a crush on their gardener Jack, but her lack of sexual experience and belief something is wrong with her is holding her back from pursuing this hunky piece of man meat. All of this is about to change once Alice finds herself falling. As Alice does in all of her fairytale versions she falls down the rabbit hole into a land of disbelief and discovery. This rabbit hole just happens to lead to a land of sexual mystery, delight, and bunches and bunches of dirty sex. Liz Adams takes readers on a voyage of pure sex...hairbrush sex, midget sex, multiple partner sex, teapot sex, caterpillar sex, you name it and it happens. Mirroring the most famous scenes from this beloved fairytale, Alice is morphed into a woman on a sexual journey and she is taking this wonderful land by the balls. Half of the time I was like "hmm that's kinda hot" and the other half I was left wondering "hmm now how did that get over there and how are those pieces fitting together"? If you are looking for a sweet yet erotic romance with a virgin's discovery of her inner sex goddess with a lovable man whore...this isn't for you. However, if you are tired of the "norm" and don't mind page after page of weird yet kinda hot and horny sex, by all means pick this book up. Was this book my type? Honestly, I don't think I'm to that open or weird of a sex tale yet. Was it interesting, out of the bubble, and enjoyable in an uncomfortable way? Yes! Do I think Liz Adams meant for readers to be turned on and uncomfortable at the same time? Yes. I give this book 3 1/2 STARS (better to round up).

My Rant:

Wow, what an amazing twist to the alice and wonderland story. Liz Adams defiantly takes you on a journey down the rabbit whole of bliss. Alice was a hoot, there were parts in this book that made me giggle inside really. As soon as you begin reading the book the action starts and just when you think the smoke is going to simmer the flames ignite again.

Alice needed to find herself, discover her worth and pleasure and what better way to do that than with a bunch of hunks in the wonderful land. The studs in this book come in all shapes and sizes lol, but that is what makes the story uniquely fascinating. The authors writing style was smooth and erotically edgy. She takes you on this journey with Alice and you begin to feel connected with her while being a visual viewer from the outside. The story wheels you in and before you know it your breezing right through the story. The ending is what floored me because it was definitely swoon worthy. Jack was everything you could want in a man. he was sincere, caring, sexy and giving. Just thinking about Jack gave me goose bumps.

I am adding Liz Adams to my favorite authors list just because she had the courage to take such a simple fairytale and make into an erotica tale that we adults could enjoy and devour.

My Recommendation:

I rated this book 4 out of 5 Purple Rant Heart and would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good erotic story.

My rating 3.5
Creativity-5
Writing style-4
Page-turner quality-2
Sexual Heat-2.5

Not really what I was expecting. My expectation is what is giving this book the lower rating for me. I was thinking sex with all characters. The majority is just touching and petting and learning, and one good sex scene (in Wonderland).

This book is insanely creative….that is the biggest perk of the book. I was literally in awe of the imagination it took to write this. I must admit I dislike Alice very much. Her internal dialog was irritatingly repetitive. I found myself in several places just skimming along waiting for something else to happen.

I did really like that it followed the story of Alice in Wonderland very well with order and character, but was still original and creative. It’s a good read, but just don’t expect an all-out sexual discovery, it’s more like a body part discovery the majority of the time.

This is basically a romance. Alice is going to college and has a major crush on Jack the Gardner who she has known since she was 15. Her personal problem is that she is unable to orgasm. A friend of hers tries to help out but it doesn't work.

Then Alice falls down a rabbit hole. One of the paintings ends up fondling her on the way down. Once past the door area she sees a hanged man (ala the Tarot hanged man) and she finds out a way to grow larger.

She finds out that characters in Wonderland seem to take metaphors rather literally. There's some strange things that go on with starfish, a rather wild tea party and then some upsetting news about the Red Queen that explains a lot of her behavior.

The croquet game is rather interesting along with how Alice helps out the Queen. Two questions arise: has all this been a dream and will she finally be able to get close to Jack? The ending is quite tasteful and romantic.

HOT, HOT, HOT. The author took the original story and wove erotic elements into it and did a very good job. There were little twists here and there that I would not have thought to think of and more than once I thought about how cool it was. Like the part where Alice gets swept away by a flood in Lewis Carroll's version has a whole new take on it in this version. :)
I also like how Alice never has vaginal sex with any other guy in the book but instead waits to have that with Jack, her true love. I think that even the language and 'voice' of the book stayed true to the way Alice or any of the other characters would have said or phrased something.
I don't even want to get my hopes up about what sorts of things the author could think up for a dirty Peter Pan or Cinderella *sighs hopefully* ;)
