Hot! Hot! Hot! That’s right, this book is definitely sizzling, yet with an edge of sweetness too. There is a slow burning heat throughout that flares up even more intensely at times, mirroring the dragons within.
The mythology behind the double dragon is unmistakably captivating. The lore was endlessly tantalizing for me, creating an entire subculture that Willows gave me entry into. I enjoy how the various 1Night Stand stories both stand on their own and tie together. The familial ties through the stories brought it all together, seeming to be parts of a whole.
Willows creates characters who’s stories you want to know, who you enjoy reading about. I liked how the couples had fun with each other. There was also an emotional connexion between the main characters, even if it was just a budding one.
This collection of tales is both emotional and sexy as anything. Willows has done a fantastic job of creating tales that both stand out and draw you in.

Double Dragon Seduction by Kali Willows
Gwen who is recently divorced for let than 6 months from a abusive relationship for over 10 years is now out on the prowl seeking some companionship with no strings attached. She seek a service that provides her with a a one night stand that consists of two lovers. If you're going to do it why not go for the full experience, right? She plans for the event to take place a day before her birthday and on the eve oft her ex-husbands wedding to his new wife. Ironically they all meet up at the same hotel. Her friend Cindy accompany her to make sure that she's okay. She wants to put her abusive EX behind her and this little fling is just want she thinks she needs.
Yong and Tatsu twins and on there way to a date. They have a secret they are keeping and know that it will end with one of the 2 dying. The brother to die will die, so the other may live. But maybe there is a way to fix what is going on. The need to find the special woman who may fix the problem, has been a hard and long road and they are hoping Gwen is it. Will Gwen be able to save the twin or even accept the secret they will reveal to her? And will her EX give up Gwen as easily as she thought?
This was a hot menage. 2 men that hold a secret and need the help of a special woman. A woman who has been through hell. Her husband a abusive bastard, is finally moving on, or she thinks he has. With an EX who is still trying to put himself in the picture, in a very bad way, it makes a 1st date uncomfortable. It was a very good read. I loved the story line and felt very bad Gwen. With the help of two sexy men, she may just come out ahead.

The 1 Night Stand series has done it again. This novella was full of twist and turns and the bedroom scenes are hot. You won’t want to put the book down. The brothers are desperate for Gwen to be the one to save them. There is an immediate connection between Gwen and the brothers. They are fiercely protective of her against her nasty ex and truly want her to be happy with the two of them. Gwen won’t settle for only one brother though. She wants them both with a passion she never felt before. I really like the 1 Night Stand novellas and the authors that contribute to the series.

My Rating: 2.5 stars: Finished it - take it or leave it (C)
The story opens with our heroine, Gwen, reading the society pages of the paper, where she discovers that her ex is getting remarried on her birthday. Obviously the news is upsetting to Gwen, because she causes the newspaper to spontaneously combust. Best friend Cindy helps console Gwen over a bottle of amaretto, and we discover that although Gwen and Jamison spent 10 years together, things weren’t all that great, and Gwen doesn’t want Jamison back. But in order to move on, Gwen has enlisted the help of Madame Eve’s 1 Night Stand service, where Gwen has request a m/f/m menage.
Twin brothers Tatsu and Yong have sought out the help of Madame Eve because their lives depend on it. No spoilers here, but let’s just say that the brothers, descendants of dragon shifters, are under a time constraint to find a date - sex - and Madame Eve assured them Gwen is their match. The trio agree to meet at Niagara Falls for their special rendez-vous at the same time (and same hotel) as Jameson’s wedding.
I have mixed feelings about this story. The first half to three-quarters was a good mix of story-telling, action and plot development. Jameson is an abusive bully, which we get to witness first hand. I really like how bold Gwen is after 10 years of abuse. She's not a meek woman. She is a fighter. She's a take charge woman. We also learn about the twin’s dragon heritage and why sex is critical to them at this juncture. It’s not an easy story to digest for any woman about to have sex with the pair, but when it comes to the twins, Gwen’s not going to run. So I have to wonder why she agrees to meet the men at the same time and place as her ex’s wedding. Yes, it causes a lot of tension and allows for some compelling plot development, but to me, it just doesn’t seem the smart thing to do for a woman who is so confident.
As I said, I enjoyed quite a lot of the beginning and middle of the story. However, the switch from discussing the brothers’ dragon heritage to the getting busy, menage time is awkward. The whole transition and the sex scenes didn’t feel sexy to me. Since the twins are virgins, Gwen must teach them. The sex comes across almost clinical, and honestly, I lost interest in the trio. In addition, there is some mid-sex shifting which turned me off.
In the end, Double Dragon Seduction just didn’t keep my interest throughout the whole story. Although I enjoyed the start and set up of the book, and I felt the mythology was worth investigating, the ending fell flat and left me wishing things had gone differently.

True to form for Ms. Willows I loved every minute of this story. Not many authors venture into the dragon shifter, let alone work it around the Chinese zodiac. BRAVA Ms. Willows!
Add to that a crazy ex, and a story of abuse…Well I will leave it there *grins* Can’t be giving too much away, it isn’t a long story. Just trust me you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t wait to read more of her work.

The story started off great, I loved Gwen from the start. She is a strong and intriguing character. I was really digging the whole thing until the last quarter. The steam wasn't what I was looking for. I am not so keen on the woman in charge directing or coaching the men. It isn't my preference, so it put me off a bit.
Still good storytelling and engaging characters. I am definitely looking into more from this author.

Really fun, well written sexy short story. It is not very often that you come across Asian leads in romance or erotica but Tatsu and Yong were great and Gwen got to discover new things about herself as well through them. I thought the story was given just enough credibility in such a short timeframe as well. Very enjoyable.

For me it was an OK book.. I think that the book should have been longer and maybe given a little more detail about the twins condition and etc... Im not sure if i would read again!
