Yes, yes, I reached vol 50!! Silently congratualte myself. Still have 40 to go. 40 yeah not a lot. At all. Well i wouldn't mind if we have more interesting cases because some honestly bores me to death.

So I have been spending most of the time reading every chapter of Detective Conan series (no cheating like skipping a chapter!) and personally it's addictive!
Perhaps I would become a cunningly clever murderer thanks to these... Hahaha.

sato n takagi make this volume a volume

1. We start this volume with the Detective team looking for the missing student who looks like haibara. Fav part, Officer Yumi talks about her ex-boyfriend lol.

2. I love how this case was simple, we need one like that after a hefty arc.

3. The next case is about the transfer student who looks like a girl and is goofy basically.

4. Omg the case about the guy who killed his girlfriend is like wow.

5. When Ran sad “Conan is warm” and he blushed omg sometimes I forget that he’s shinchi lol.

6. OKAY THE NEXT CASE IS ALL SATO AND TAKAGI LOL, We all love how sato is jealous.

7. When sato got mad at takagi and told inspector to continue wrapping the rest of the case and he was EHHM no you two settle all the things between you 😂
8. I love how we saw both sato and takagi confess go each other in the car and forgot that Ran,Conan and mouri were there lol.

All in all, WHEN ARE WE GONNA SEE MORE OF SATO AND TAKAGI lol or heiji & kazuha OR SERENA N MAKOTO

The first case with Takagi and Sato was cute because of its ending. The kidnapped kid was returned and the kidnapper realized his folly.

The second case was amusing, because Conan and Ai had to pretend in front of their teacher, Miss Kobayashi, that they were indeed small children and not brilliant teenagers. Taking the help of Genta, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko, they managed to pull the wool over her eyes, but their antics gave me a good laugh. Especially when Kobayashi decided to become the Detective League's manager!

The third case where Heiji and Shinichi are unintentionally pitted against each other and are trying to solve the Snow Spirit case was thrilling - because each one was trying to outwit the other unknowingly. Since Yusaku Kudo seems to be ahead of those two - I'm excited to see who will solve the case while explaining everything!

This 50th volume starts out with a kidnapping and ransom demand! Detective Conan, Rachel and a sparingly light amount of Detective Moore are all involved in this case! The second case in this volume involves MURDER!!! Okay, well when I cannot think of any volume that didn’t have at least one murder case in it…it’s just not that surprising. I am still wondering just how damaged the kids or even Rachel Moore would be after seeing this many dead bodies? This is a Junior Detectives story along with their teacher! This one wasn’t as gripping but it was a little lighter having the teacher (Ms. Kobayashi) involved. The final story of this volume is the cover story which deals with a flashback story to one of Jimmie (aka Detective Conan’s) first cases. It doesn’t conclude in this volume and leaves you itching for the 51st volume of Case Closed!

First story: Mori, Ran and Conan are at a restaurant where Takagi and Chiba show up for a hook-up party. They are awkwardly confronted by Sato and Yumi, who have shown up at the same party! However, their awkwardness is side lined for a kidnaping of a cousin of one of the guests, which they all must work together to solve. Next story had the Junior Detectives being interviewed by a reporter, who is found dead! Conan helps out, but tries to not make his help obvious because their teacher Ms Kobayashi seems suspicious of him. The cliffhanger story is about Heiji retelling a story to Shinichi about a case at a ski lodge that was solved by another detective, who turns out to be Shinichi before he became Conan.

Mungkin karena sudah lama tidak membaca Detektif Conan maka semua cerita dirasa seru? Hehehe.
Tapi Takagi dan Sato lucu deh, tarik ulur begitu.
Lalu anggota detektif SD kembali beraksi.

The new teacher who is named after a character in the novels of Edogawa Ranpo, who looks a lot like Agent Sato. This time the story with Detective Boys is nice. I don't usually appreciate them very much. At the end of the volume, three super detectives engaged in solving the homicide case

Aoyama Gosho; DETECTIVE CONAN [Meitantei Conan #50]

e/read online; genre: { manga, mystery, shounen }; shelves: |comics, GN, manga, manhua, manhwa|

General Synopsis:
As mentioned above, I am going to write a proper review for this soon, but I have a few books ahead of this one in the queue, so I cannot stop reading DC NOW! That's sacrilege. I have decided to read all the chapters available up to now (we are almost to 1000!) As you can see, I am totally fangirling over here and I don't care, because this is one of my favorite manga series, ever! But all of this aside, there are a few things I wanted to list so I don't need to go back and look everything up when I do finally sit down and write my fangirl review. ✌🏻

V.50, includes Files511 - 521

DO NOT click on the spoiler link if you don't want to read all the cases in this volume, because it will ruin it for you. On the other hand, if you're a fan like me or are looking for a certain case (and please note, these are how I have set the cases), etc. click away, that's why it's there.

Another spoiler link, so don't click if you don't want to ruin this manga. I am going to include the characters introduced or as the series continues are in this volume. Personally, I think us DC fans love certain characters more than other (yes, Heiji, I mean you!), so sometimes when we are re-reading this series (like all the time!) you might wish to start at a specific case or start when a certain character is involved.

Characters in this volume:

Personal Opinion:
#1, I never call this CASE CLOSED. If you do, you're not a true fan of this series, so don't even bother reading my review or my personal opinions. I'm sorry if I offend you, but you offended me first by telling me you want to read CASE CLOSED or you just love Jimmy.

#2, as you can tell by #1, I read this online. I would never waste my money buying a manga series in english that cannot get the name correct and mess up the main characters to make it appear more "ENGLISH." I am so happy I don't run a blog and this isn't a review on Sailor Moon, #1, because I have a huge soap box tirade against DiC. I also don't think there is anything against reading something online. Comics, which is what manga are, are meant to be read and shared and sometimes paying over $10 is too much in my opinion. Plus, I read the newest chapters as soon as they are released from Japan, because I would never miss a release of DC. So this is my personal shout out to you translators from me, Thank You!

A KIDNAPPING AMIDST THE SINGLES PARTY
A casual outing turns into a race against time when Conan overhears a conversation revealing a boy left home alone and in danger. Upon arriving at the house, they discover the boy has been kidnapped, with the abductor demanding ransom. Clues point to someone the child knows—his uncle’s voice was heard on the phone. With Takagi and Sato going undercover, the team narrows down the suspects to three individuals who skipped the singles party, leading to a tense investigation.

THE DEADLY SCOOP: A WRITER’S LAST STORY
The Detective Boys, accompanied by Miss Kobayashi, visit a freelance writer for an interview, only to find him murdered in his apartment. Conan quickly notices crucial clues—wiped bloodstains and suspicious answering machine messages. Suspecting the killer staged an alibi, Conan skillfully guides the police toward the truth while masking his deductions with childish antics. However, his behavior frustrates the Detective Boys, who feel he’s making them seem immature. As they sift through the messages, only one alibi is revealed to be falsified, leading to the real culprit.

FROZEN REVENGE: A MURDER AT THE SKI RESORT
Heiji challenges Conan’s detective skills by recalling a formidable rival from his past, tied to a chilling murder case at Yamagata Zao Onsen Ski Resort. Three years ago, an actor was slain in an eerily identical manner to his former stunt double, who was killed at the same location four years prior. The unsettling pattern hints at a long-planned revenge, pushing Heiji and said rival, who is actually Shinichi, to unravel the truth buried beneath the snow.

Detektiv Conans 50. Hihi. Sehr lesenswert! Der Fall wird übrigens in Band 51 fortgeführt, also unbedingt gleich mitlesen ;)
