Tess Jennings, now a member of the Memphis Police Department, is on her first cold case. The suspected suicide of Lizbeth Knapp ten years ago isn’t a theory her family accepts—they believe she was murdered.

Tess doesn’t have to do this alone. Not only does she have her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowen, but the department has brought in a medium. My Review:
I am so excited about where Stacey is taking this series and this world. In this book, we get to meet a couple of new characters in Dane and Gretchen. Dane has skills similar to Tess and he works for the FBI. Max has brought him in to help aid Tess in figuring out her abilities. The issue...he REALLY does not approve of the fact that Tess has opened herself up to a ghost the way that she has with Kipp...which causes all kinds of turmoil and strife. Gretchen is a witch (who is much more understanding of Kipp and Tess) that Dane introduces to Tess to help her with getting rid of a troublesome demon who is terrorizing the ghosts of Memphis.

This book goes beyond just the relationship between Kipp and Tess and gives us more of a glimpse into Tess' supernatural abilities and how she gained them. As a result, this book felt like it had a lot more substance than the first (although I ADORED that book.) Things also are transitioning with Kipp, but I am not going to post any spoilers about this story line. You just HAVE to read this book. OMG, I am so excited about where this series is going and the next book cannot come out fast enough.

I just love the characters in this book. Kipp is just....YUM...OMG, I love his character. He's so protective of Tess and just incredibly sweet while maintaining that yummy alpha side that you just have to love. I loved the glimpses of the entire police detective team that Tess is now a part of. I love how she has become part of their family and how they all interact with her. Did I mention how much I love where this series is going??? OMG, I really do! Then there is Tess....hehe. She is so not a cop. She may deal with ghosts every day, but that doesn't mean that she's ready for the scary stuff like criminals. There were some really fun scenes with Zach when she gets scared about the real-life stuff when she's fine with all this supernatural stuff that freaks everyone else out.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this series. If you haven't started it yet, go out and get Supernaturally Kissed today. You will fall in love with Kipp and Tess....really, I think you're going to love them too!!!

Demonically Tempted is the second book in Stacey Kennedy's intensely amazing paranormal romance/urban fantasy Frostbite series. The events in Demonically Tempted directly follow those in the first book, Supernaturally Kissed. You should read Supernaturally Kissed before Demonically Tempted. All the 5 star reviews of Supernaturally Kissed were dead-on, it's fantastic. And so is Demonically Tempted. You'll be tempted to stay up late to finish it!

Right where Kissed left off, Tess Jennings sees ghosts, especially her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowan, a cop who is determined to continuing serving with the Memphis Police Department, even as a ghost.

But Tess is the only one who can see him. And Tess' ability to communicate with ghosts is very useful to the cold-case squad. So many cold-cases involve old homicides, and so many victims, well, have the kind of unfinished business that results in ghosts. Ghosts that Tess can help.

Tess gets a job offer from the Memphis P.D. Which she really has no choice about taking. Her old job isn't there anymore. She spent too much time working with the cops on Kipp's case. She got fired.

But working with Kipp's old squad is okay. They accept her and Kipp as a team. But, there's a problem. The supernatural community is not so accepting. Kipp is a ghost. His issues are resolved. He should cross over. And he isn't, hasn't, won't. Because of Tess.

Tess' powers are untrained. She started seeing ghosts when she was seventeen, after a very near-death experience. The Police Department has brought in a medium, someone who has more experience working cases, to work with her. Dane Wolfe says he can train her, but something about Dane gives her the heebie-jeebies, even more than the ghosts.

And something is seriously up with the ghost community. There are lots of ghost coming to see her. Deliberately. There is a dark spirit terrorizing them. Tess didn't even know the ghosts were organized, and now they're passing the word around about her. They want her to actually "Ghostbust" a bad spirit for them. What's up with that?

So the quiet life Tess had at the beginning of Supernaturally Kissed is toast. Instead, she's a police consultant with a ghost-lover and a real would-be Ghostbuster for the good ghosts on the ghostly side of Memphis--something she didn't know existed. And she feels guilty for keeping Kipp from crossing over. Because she loves him more than she's ever loved any man, and it's going to rip her apart when he leaves. Which is what is supposed to happen.

And she's in the middle of her first real case, which is nothing like it appears to be. And might be part of the whole supernatural Ghostbusting-thing.

Maybe Tess should ask for her quiet life back?

Escape Rating A: This just keeps getting better. And darker and deeper. The urban fantasy mix-in of the cop shop is marvelous--all of Kipp's squad trying to get used to Tess, and knowing that he's there watching, but they can't see him. Some of them answer the question they know he's just asked, even though they can't hear it. Now that's teamwork!

There's angst here, too. Tess and Kipp know this can't last forever, and there are definitely problems. Their relationship is hot, but, their ability to physically interact is seriously limited. And they definitely love each other. They want to do what is best for each other, but don't know what that is, since they have no clue what comes next. What happens to ghost, after?

Demonically Tempted ends on a scrape-your-jaw-off-the-floor cliffhanger. I wanted to reach through my iPad and shake the next book out of Ms. Kennedy right then and there. (This feature needs to be added to future iPads)

Having read Supernaturally Kissed and loved it for combining several of my favorite story elements- romance, paranormal, and mystery- I was more than eager to get my paws on the second book. Bless Stacey Kennedy for not making her book releases over a year apart! I am not a patient woman when it comes to my book love.

This second installment picks up shortly after the events of the first book. Tess is now officially on the cold case team that includes Zach as her partner in this case with Eddie still on light duty getting healed from his injuries, and Max in charge of their detail. Kipp is the unofficial member of the team.

Zach, Tess and Kipp set out to interview a material witness in a case as well as try to meet the dead girl, Lizbeth's ghost. Lizbeth's sister is the witness and she tells them what she knows about what appeared to be a suicide with her sister just walking out of their house and drowning herself in the lake. There was another person on the scene, but the sister, Anna, watched the whole bizarre thing from a distance and Hector never went near her sister. Kipp and Tess searched around for Anna's ghost and find nothing. This leaves them high and dry so they head back to the station where to everyone's surprise Max has brought in a consultant from the FBI named Dane who is there to 'help' Tess with her gift. Kipp takes an instant dislike to the man and Tess isn't far behind him because Dane is arrogant and seems to have ulterior motives.

Dane joins their crew and spends more time criticizing than he does teaching. Tess feels pressured because Kipp's attitude goes from bad to worse about Dane, but he can't give a good reason other than the guy is untrustworthy. Tess suspects Kipp is jealous. Dane angers her though when he presumes to tell her that she needs to cut off her contact with the ghosts- ALL the ghosts- because she's leaving herself open.

Tess is approached by a bunch of ghosts about a strange new ghost who is bad news and terrifying them all. Dane becomes even more insistent which just makes her all the more stubborn to help the ghosts. Things go south in a hurry when they discover the new ghost is actually a demon. Tess is in trouble with a capital 'T' up to her eyeballs as usual and is stuck relying on a guy that she can barely tolerate and might not be trustworthy.

So much exciting stuff happens in this story that I'm still reeling from what all happened. I couldn't stop reading from the moment they discovered the demon all the way through the surprising end/cliffhanger.

This one wrung so many emotions out of me in the fairly short read that it was. I laughed at Tess' dry wit, ahhh'd over the romance between Tess and Kipp, snarled over the gritty annoying Dane and sat appalled at what happened. I had one of those 'No say it isn't so' moments. I even cried a little. These reactions are a sign of an abso-fab plot with beyond awesome characters (either that or I was having a weak female moment- nah!).

So to wrap it up, this one did not suffer the fate of being the bad sequel. All the things that were s'wonderful about the first book were still working for this one- good strong plot with murder case and demon running amok in Memphis, Tess and Kipp, the camaraderie of the police team, new mysterious characters, and Tess' best friend.

Stacey did leave me hanging with all that shocking stuff at the end, but I'll forgive her if she does me a solid by making the third book as thrilling as the first two.

A fun and sexy sequel to a must read series!

When we last left Tess in Supernaturally Kissed, she was helping the Memphis Police solve the murder case that left the lead police officer on the case, Kipp McGowen, her now ghost lover, dead. That case earned her a permanent position with the Memphis Police Department where she's now working on her first cold case with Zach, Kipp's old partner. Tess' ability to speak to spirits and help them cross over has made her a target and she soon finds herself surrounded by ghosts who need her help in vanquishing a dark force. This should be easy enough with the help of Zach and Kipp, but when the Memphis P.D. brings in Dane Wolfe to help hone her gifts with his medium abilities, all hell breaks loose! Tess gets more than she signed up for when she is faced with helping the spirits by bringing down a demon and solving the case with the help of her new mentor, which endangers her happiness and relationship with the man she loves.

Tess Jennings definitely does not lack adventure in her life! Just when you think she has everything under control she's thrown into another situation in the supernatural world she's still familiarizing herself with. Her voice is strong, sarcastic and she wins you over with her determination. Although it was hard for me to get used to her relationship with Kipp, with him being a ghost and all, I love them together and Tess' fierce loyalty to him. Warning: You'll need a cold shower after reading their steamy love scenes!

The addition of Dane to the story just made it that more interesting. You're constantly wondering what his motives really are and whether you should like him or despise him. I'm still not sure how I feel about him. There's a bit of tension between him and Tess that keep you turning the pages in anticipation.

Holy cliffhanger Stacey! I was ready for a climactic ending but nowhere near what I was given! Demonically Tempted has the perfect mix of the paranormal, romance and humor that leaves you hungry for more. With plenty of twists and turns and shocking revelations, this sequel is sure to make you a fan of Ms. Kennedy's work for all time!

It has been several weeks since Tess helped the Memphis Police Department solve the case that left Kipp in his ghostly state. She is now working her first official cold case with Zach and the Memphis P.D. An outsider is brought in to help Tess acquire some new knowledge about her cursed gift, but Dane has many ulterior motives. The ghosts in Memphis are seeking help from Tess. It appears that they are currently being haunted by something very different than what Tess is used to dealing with. Tess and Kipp are still happily exploring their relationships options.

Tess is a busy girl. Her life seems to get even busier with this installment of the Frostbite series. She’s working a cold case, meeting with a witch in Salem, and she’s learning new and fascinating things about the world she hoped she was not alone in. I liked Demonically Tempted more than Supernaturally Kissed. I think I needed to get used to the ghost lover idea. Kipp is so hot and their ghost sex is steamy enough that I was able to get more into this book.

Dane, I hated him! He is a necessary character for the book, so he is not one of those characters that can make a reader dislike a book. He is one of those characters that brings so much tension to a book that you can’t stop reading it. He continually points out to Tess that she is ignorant of her ability and that she should do other things with her ability. The ass never offers advice on how to better hone her skills. He just tells her all too often that what she is doing with them is pointless. He also has some very interesting thoughts and opinions about Kipp. I have come to really like Kipp, so I decided to want horrible things to happen to Dane.

The ending definitely gets labeled as cliffhanger. Oh my, what an ending. The revelations about Kipp were shocking to say the least. It was a thought that crossed my mind with Supernaturally Kissed, but I dismissed it. Then when I thought that the resolution would present itself Tess is pulled into a different direction. To say I am screaming I want more and I want it now at my Kindle would make light of the situation. Now I will impatiently wait until Mystically Bound is released in the fall.

Our Review [By LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha Michelle L. Olson]:

If you peek back at my review for Supernaturally Kissed (FROSTBITE Book #1) you'll see how much I loved it. The follow-up did not disappoint. It's another knock out hit by Miss Kennedy!

I had a theory from the beginning of Supernaturally Kissed and I was glad to see that I was right. The storyline played itself out in the most delicious way at the end of Demonically Tempted, and it had me verbalizing my delight. I can't go into details though because I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

Tess is just beginning her new life as the newest member of the Memphis PD. In this installment, things get shaken up (and her confidences are tested) when the Cold Case they're investigating isn't coughing up any ghosts for Tess to interview and/or help. To make matters worse, while trying to help her with her gifts, the department brings in a medium who does little but irritate Tess and make her doubt herself and her relationship with Kipp even more.

Demonically Tempted has a bit more 'magic and mayhem' than Supernaturally Kissed did, and that was just fine by me. I loved every second of it, and devoured the book in 1 sitting, wishing only that there were more to be had.

There were some interesting character developments in Demonically Tempted as well. We got to see a more vulnerable side to the normally cocky and confident Kipp, and an insecure side to Tess that wasn't really there in Supernaturally Kissed where it was very evident that she didn't care what anyone thought when all was said and done.

In true Stacey Kennedy fashion the romance was hot and steamy, even if it was just 'ghost sex'. Maybe that made it even more hot and steamy!??

The storyline as a whole was fabulous. There were twists and turns, hurdles to overcome, beautifully placed antagonists, and even a few unlikely allies in places.

I simply adore this series and cannot wait to see what Stacey has in store for us in the next installment!

Oh man Stacey Kennedy is an evil genius!! I am just speechless at what she did to me in this book! And I CAN NOT tell you! This is so hard. But my goodness, it was amazing and torture all rolled into one.

I must say that Tess learns a hell of a lot in this book. I mean she learns so so many things. Her world gets flipped upside down. Not only does she have to worry about ghosts but there is a whole new world of things out there too. She also finds out she is not exactly alone with her special abilities. (and then there are the many things I can not and will not tell you)

I am serious though, I was just freaking shocked at what Stacey did in this book, my mouth literally hit the floor. I had a moment of such hope and then it ended. It is going to be hell waiting to find out what is next for Tess and Kipp.

I love how Tess lets everyone know that even though its crazy she is in love with her ghost! Her and Kipp just have this unbelieveable connection and I all I keep thinking when reading them together is why can't you be alive! I love them soo much.

Lets not forget about the side characters. I love Zach, I mean I really really love him he seems to be such a good friend to Tess and Kipp. The whole crew at the police station I love. Then we get some newbies and lets just say I am not a fan of Dane. But the witch, her I like.

If you haven't yet go read Supernaturally Kissed! And if you have then you MUST pick up Demonically Tempted now!! Tess's world is just getting crazier by the minute, we are entering a whole new world to supernaturals. This book brought out so many emotions, I laughed, my heart broke and then I had such amazing hope. When I started it I thought I would only read a little bit then go to bed, but I was hooked and had to know what happened, and stayed up to finish it. Its a MUST READ!

Looking for a great urban fantasy, a tragic love story, great mystery,a sexy ghost, jaw dropping moments and a book that will have you flipping the pages as fast as you can? Well your wait is over go get your copy of Demonically Tempted now!

Demonically Tempted (Frostbite #2) By Stacey Kennedy

If you’re reading my review, first thing I will say is you need to go purchase Supernaturally Kissed the first book in this series. Demonically Tempted is the second book in the Frostbite series and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading these two books. Stacey Kennedy’s writing is superb, character descriptions are well written and the story flows extremely well. I went from Supernaturally Kissed and moved right into Demonically Tempted. I honestly cannot say enough about Stacey’s writing besides she is a fantastic author and I will continue to read her books.

Demonically Tempted continues off from where Supernaturally Kissed ends. Tess Jennings see’s ghosts, and not only has she realized she is supposed to help these ghost she somehow has managed to fall in love with one. It’s actually quite funny and I truly enjoyed Tess and Kipps relationship.

Tess gets a job working with the Memphis police department, and helps them solve cold cases, knowing Tess is not fully aware of her talents the police department brings in a medium who works with the F.B.I to help her understand her gifts. This story has suspense, missing ghosts, misunderstandings, romance and loss and did I mention a demon. It is quite the book and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I am hoping to become Stacey Kennedy’s newest stalker/maybe beta reader…super fan….lol….oh please I need the next book!

Oh and since I don’t want to write spoiler alerts I just have to say I loved the ending and was sort of prayed this was going to happen…great writing Stacey.

Supernaturally Kissed (Frostbite #1) blew me away. Demonically Tempted is more darker and concentrates more on the case Tess, Kipp and the gang are working on. For me what made Demonically Tempted a outstanding read was the ending. It is a shocker I did not see coming. If it was not for the ending I would of just loved it and given it four stars but Stacey Kennedy through me for a loop with the ending that kept me thinking of it for days that I have to give it 5 stars.

Loved Kipp more in Demonically Tempted. Wow, got to see more of a protective, possessive, jealous side of Kipp.

Tess is still Tess a kick butt character with a smart mouth. She runs into a ghost who is rude, smart mouth with a bad attitude. Loved how she does not take any crap from him and puts him in his place.

Dane the new guy in the mix and the one that Kipp is jealous of, is a Medium that works with the F.B.I.. He can not see or hear ghost only feel their presence. Max who is Tess boss thinks she is uneducated with her abilities, so he brings Dane in to help her out.

Kipp and Tess relationship has it ups and downs. They are one of my favourite book couples and was happy when they would have their loving and fun moments. I was also sad when they would have their not so fun moments. Their “Ghost Sex” is still hot.

I am excited to see how the story is going to play out in Mystically Bound (Frostbite #3.

Tess Jennings is back into action in her second installment Demonically Tempted by Stacey Kennedy. This time around Tess finds out there’s more to the supernatural world than just ghosts. There’s also some tension added with a new medium brought in named Dane. Oh yeah, things really got interesting LOL.

Stacy Kennedy is awesome in mixing paranormal romance and urban fantasy together. I enjoyed this book more than the first because I felt like Stacey really let out Tess’s attitude. I especially loved it because it reminded me of things I would do and say and I’m sure a lot of you will feel this same way.

As for the ending, I really hate cliffhangers but this one really wasn’t so bad at least it lets you in on what could be next or at least could it’s no telling what Stacey has in store for us next lol. I myself can’t wait to see what is going to happen between Tess and Kipp. Hurry up Stacey!!!

I recommend this to paranormal romance and urban fantasy lovers.

Exciting, sexy, will make you laugh & cry. Deep, intense emotions, an adrenaline rush in suspense and thrilling moments. A huge fan of ghost stories, I'm very selective and am glad to have had the opportunity to read this one! A tough, yet soft heroine, delicious hero ghost, whose love transcends every reality. Their romance is effortlessly one of my favourites to remember...and be eager to read more of. It really makes a person ponder what happens after death. I was sucked right in.

I do have to say, that I was equally impressed with the mysterious Dane. He tries to come between Tess & Kipp, and he's a dastardly fellow who piqued my curiousity. Perhaps the author would someday write a story for him?? *g*

Fantastic romance!

This book was pretty boring, the witch character they introduced is cool I'd like to see more of her but I didn't care for the new male character at all and I don't think the demon was presented uniquely or interestingly at all, once again I just think there's so much potential but the books too short and also some parts of dialogue etc are so unnecessary and boring.

Favorite Quote: “ Remember, you choose your life. Don’t let others tell you what is right. And don’t forget that voice of yours. “

Tess Jennings, medium extraordinaire, is back and getting into even more trouble when she joins the Memphis police department as a “consultant.” Still seeing ghosts and in love with the hunky, formerly living, police officer Kipp McGowen, Tess finds herself in way over her head when a cold case overlaps a personal case, and an ghost hating FBI medium is pulled in to help Tess learn more about her gifts. Can Tess finally get what she wants? Or will she lose everything she vowed to protect?

Demonically Tempted is the second book in Ms. Kennedy’s fun and sassy Frostbite series. This series follows a reluctant medium and her sweet and sexy ghost boyfriend as they help solve cold cases for the local police department and try to maintain some semblance of a normal relationship. A snarky, fun, well plotted mystery with some smokin’ hot paranormal romance between a girl and her ghost. A steady pace with a well plotted storyline makes this an enjoyable read. I like the premise of a crime solving duo made up of a ghost and a medium.

Our heroine, Tess Jennings, is a hilarious. Sweet, funny, and more than able to handle her own. Her blond bubbly girl next door persona hides a spine of steel with a huge heart and shoe fetish. I love her external and internal dialogue. She reacts and deals with things realistically but listening to her rationalize it is hilarious. I did feel that this installment was a tad more serious than the previous one. You know Tess is stressed over using her gift and the additional stress of trying to be with Kipp is wearing on her. Ms. Kennedy does a fine job of allowing that emotion to enter the story. You can feel the tension vibrating in the story and Tess’s dialogue. It adds a faint level of despair and angst to the arc, reminding us that it’s not all rainbows and unicorn sparkles in Tess’s life.

Kipp continues to make us swoon as he strives to protect Tess and make her happy in every way possible. Sexy, funny, and talks just dirty enough to have you wanting some extra paranormal visitors yourself. Being a ghost doesn’t stop him in or out of bed and I enjoyed the easy going banter and hot smoking chemistry they have between them. His jealousy rears it’s ugly head in here and I admit I liked seeing that part of him. He was mentioned as being somewhat of a playa in book one, so in here we see that he has settled down for Tess.

We see old friends in here; Max, Zach, and Eddie and meet some new ones that clue us into some big changes coming for Tess. I do wish we would have interacted more with the cop shop as their antics made for some humorous times in book one. I enjoyed the additional characters Ms. Kennedy has added to the storyline. Dane Wolfe , the medium for the FBI. is quite the pain in Tess’s behind, but our girl knows how to handle herself and she soon puts him in his place. Gretchen Howe, a witch and friend of Dane’s, interested me in that I couldn’t get a handle on her. Is she good, bad, or walking the line? I look forward to seeing what exactly Ms. Shaw and Mr. are really up to. The ending is action packed and a bit nerve racking as Tess has to dig deep and open her mind in order to defeat an entity that wants her soul for his own.

I will admit there were a few things that bothered me in here. As I said earlier, Tess is more stressed and it’s noticeable. Her snark has a sharp edge to it and I found her unwillingness to look at the big picture frustrating. She believes in ghosts but demons, witches, and angels aren’t possible? It just didn’t make sense. She is very combative in her denial. There was also a situation with Kip that I didn’t understand. I don’t want to spoil but some things are discovered and Tess doesn’t know but it seems Kipp’s friends knew. Yet they didn’t know in book one so how do they know now? I may have missed something but it’s a conundrum for sure. Hopefully this is addressed in book three-Mystically Bound.

The main conflict resolves itself and a subplot leaves us with a tasty cliffhanger that has me impatient waiting for Mystically Bound which releases this fall. I enjoyed visiting with Tess and Kipp again and look forward to more adventures with this crazy couple.

Overall Rating: C+

Who would have thought that ghosts could be so sexy? In her Frostbite series, Stacey Kennedy shows us that they can be smart and sensitive and very yummy indeed and in the series’ second book, Demonically Tempted, she also shows how they can have you cheering and distraught all at once.

Demonically Tempted starts off shortly after book one ends off. Tess is now an official staff member of the police department and is about to work her first cold case. Tess is the perfect person to assist in these cases since not only can she see ghosts but she can also communicate with them. Pretty nifty trick. I love Tess’ snark and humor – it’s one of the best parts of the series. As for her gift, in book one Tess wishes she didn’t have it but eventually understands that she could really do some good with it. I loved how she came to terms with things at the end of the first book. But in this book, she seems to be back to not being a fan of things again. I sort of wanted to smack her sometimes while reading because one minute she seemed okay with the idea of helping ghosts find peace then the next minute she was whining like a toddler who just lost dropped his ice cream cone. She was a little all over the place with her role. It is character appropriate but I would have thought that after the way the first book left off that she would have been more comfortable in her skin and in her role as a police ‘assistant’ but instead she complained almost every chance she got. I do love how she progresses in this book and how she takes total ownership of herself by the end of things. I only hope it continues into the next book because as much as I love smart sassy Tess, I am bothered by whiny complaining Tess.

Kipp, a ghost, is yummy as always. I love his ‘caveman’ ways when it comes to Tess and I love how he is with her. He wasn’t as big of a presence in this book as the last but there is a very good reason for that…and when you find out what that reason is you will go “what? really? omg and holy cow and whoa…” all at once. I am referring to the twist/cliffhanger at the end. Don’t worry, it’s not the type that makes you want to gauge your eyes out, but it will make you want Stacey to tell us that she has secretly been working on book three and happens to be releasing today! *looks at Stacey expectantly* *sigh, no such luck* I agree with many when they say that I like where the story seems to be going and I can’t wait to see how this twist plays out. And yes, by the end of this book you will be able to say “aw…so that’s how they are going to get their HEA when this is all over with” which helped relieve some of the wonder I had about that.

There is one character that I didn’t really understand why he was there and that was Dane. Well, I sort of know why he was there but really, remove him from the story and it could still have worked – as long as you replace him with someone else in one little bit crucial scene. But other than that scene that helped snowball events, I just kept calling him ‘jerk’ and wanted him to leave. Yes, that was the point of him but still. I hope he stays gone.

I still adore the police officers that Tess works with. They are all adorable and I want to squeeze their cheeks – which cheeks you decide *wink*. I also really enjoyed Gretchen. She’s a witch and she’s great.

The mystery was enjoyable and the demon twist on the book was also really neat. It was interesting to see how Stacey wrote her demons and their dimensions and how witchcraft came into play too. Quite cool.

Overall, I like where Tess ended up in this book and I like the direction the series is taking. I am very interesting in founding out how Stacey is going to get Tess and Kipp out of the mess she created for them at the very end. I’m sure it’s going to be a bumpy ride for them but totally worth it in the end.

My Rating: 3 stars: Liked it, but I had some issues - recommend (B)
for the full review, to include spoilers, see my blog at: http://www.twimom227.com/2012/04/revi...

After getting to know all about Tess and her “ghost whispering” abilities in the first Frostbite book, Supernaturally Kissed, Ms. Kennedy jumps right into the thick of things in Demonically Tempted. Tess is now working for the Memphis Police Department with her ghostly, police officer boyfriend, Kipp, in tow. She has stepped into Kipp’s job, working along side of his best friend and partner, Zach. They are investigating cold cases, and the current case is a creepy apparent suicide. The team visits the old farmhouse where the dead girl’s sister still lives, yet Tess cannot find her ghost. What they do hear is a tale of darkness and strange behavior.

Enter Dane - apparent ghost expert who works for the FBI. Tess’s boss, Max, has hired Dane to work with Tess on her abilities. And much to Tess’s chagrin, Dane’s an arrogant jerk that constantly makes her feel stupid. Dane recognizes that this darkness is a demon and knows just the right person to help the team, Gretchen - a witch.

First of all, I really like how this story starts out... it jumps right into things with no need for a big backstory about Tess and Kipp or her powers. We are right in the heart of the story from the beginning, and this grabs the reader and pulls them in quickly. Overall the demonic story line, while briefly skirting a “horror” line with the possession concerns, brings several new aspects of Tess’s abilities and widens the known mythology extensively. And it was done in a way that isn’t “telling” the reader what is going on, but rather “shows” the reader more about this exciting world.

As for the characters - let me start with newcomer, Dane. He is painted in a fairly negative light. I really didn’t like him, and I credit the author with successfully portraying him to be such an ass. Kipp does NOT like Dane - and is constantly telling Tess he has a feeling Dane is hiding something. Tess continually attributes Kipp’s feelings as jealousy. I have to say after a while I got annoyed that Tess would not accept Kipp’s “gut feeling.”

As for our main couple... I still adore Tess and Kipp. Although we don’t have as much time for relationship building in this story, they are still an exciting pair to read. The author did find a way to insert a few sexy scenes which don’t detract from the overall story line. Although I’m not at all happy about something that happens at the end of the book-not that it happened but rather the timing of the event, I am very excited to see what is in store for the couple. I have to say that the twist presented will provide for some exciting adventures for future books; however, I feel that what happened should have happened WELL before the end of the second book. The timing just seemed very inappropriate to me.

So in the end I was a bit conflicted over this book. I like Tess and Kipp, and the new supporting characters are an excellent addition. I am very happy that we learned so much more about the supernatural world. But, I did have some issues with the book... The biggest being what happens near then end of the book (in the spoiler section). It was just very hard for me to accept. But with that said, I am interested to know who the "others" (with special abilities) are and where Tess is headed. I have a strong desire to keep reading this series and seeing it to the end. And so I am highly anticipating Mystically Bound (Book 3) coming in Fall 2012.

I received this book for my honest thoughts and opinions! So, let's get this review started!!!

Okay, first let me say that I have read the first book in this series and absolutely loved it!!! The first story, Ms. Stacey put me in a world of one woman who's world was crazier than anything else I have seen! She put all the right ingredients together to come up with an awesome, kick ass story. As the story continues, Ms. Stacey did not disappoint me at all!!! The woman has a way with her stories and her style is wickedly awesome. The storyline for her Frostbite series just keeps getting better and better. When you start reading this series, I promise you will want to read till the wee hours in the morning... Because it is just that good. I mean, seriously, the woman has drawn me in and grabbed me by the "I need to know NOW," and has not let me go.... Not even after the last page.

And the story continues... Tess thought her life could not get anymore crazier... For Caspers sakes... She talks to ghost on a daily basis and her lover is a ghost. How much more crazier could her life get, really? LOL. But for Tess, its just a walk in the park... Well, she thought it was until she meets a force that she is not sure what it is.... All she knows is that it is scaring the shit out of ghost. And hell, let's be honest, if it scares the shit out of a ghost, what do you think it would do to Tess!! That is when her life takes a complete nose dive...

But she is lucky to have her ghost lover, Kipp with her every step of the way. This is one man... that loves her with all his heart, is passionate about everything and believes there is no doing anything half ass. When you do something, you do it right!!! Everything is all great and dandy until a new man comes into Tess and Kipp's lives.... That is when the world tilts, flips and dips... And everything changes....

Things will never be normal for Tess, but at least she thought she knew what normal was for her... Until Dane walks in and shakes up her world. Wow, could this story get any better! I mean seriously, I am actually at a lost for how to write my thoughts because all I can think to say is::: GO GET THIS SERIES NOW! This is an awesome series! Everything is awesome about this series... The characters are awesome.... Ms. Stacey took the first book in the series and blew it out the water with this one. The drama, suspense and of course the loving is just the right mix... But you might be asking me...Wait, Kipp is a ghost - how the hell... Let me just tell you... Hot sex talk is... WOW with Kipp!

But seriously, Ms. Stacey, you really really really really really left me hanging in this one! I can't believe you would do that to me. I thought we were tight, lol..... I thought you liked me.... How could you leave me hanging like this! But let me tell you people, even though she left me hanging... I be damn if I am not bugging the shit out of her for the next one!!! Which I know, she is working on right now!!!!!

And Elaine, I be damn.... You were right. I explained this book over and over trying to guess what was going to happen in this one... And after my brain storming... You were right!!!!!! You guessed it!!

Demonically Tempted is the second book in the Frostbite series by Stacey Kennedy.

This book starts couple of weeks after the events in Supernaturally Kissed (first book). Tess and Kipp relationship is better than ever, they are happy and doing the best they can do with their relationship. Tess is also working full time with the Memphis Police department, she is using her ability to talk to ghosts to help solve cold cases.
Between the ghosts word is spreading fast of what Tess can do. One night she is surprised by the visit of almost dozen of ghosts in her house, they need her help, they want her to vanquish a dark force that is scaring them. If this wasn’t enough the police department brings Dane Wolfe, Dane is a medium that works for the FBI, they brought him in to help Tess tune up her abilities, but his intention are different, he has a hidden agenda that involves Kipp.

Even though I liked and enjoyed Demonically Tempted I had some problems with it. Especially with Tess, the feel I had of her in this book was completely different than the feel I got from her in Supernaturally Kissed; it almost felt as if I was reading a different character, especially during the first part of the book. She was a bit too whiny and her behavior was somehow childish; I really wanted to smack her for grand part of the book, I didn’t have that feeling while reading her in Supernaturally Kissed. At the end Tess got better and I liked her more, but it was almost a little too late.

I loved Kipp, despite being a ghost he is a dreamy and swoon worthy character; his reactions where a bit too much but understandable because of his “non-corporeal” situation. We learned more about him and what we learned was something I suspected in Supernaturally Kissed but I had given up to that idea, I really liked that curveball Mrs. Kennedy threw at us, sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!

In Demonically Tempted we also see the characters we loved in Supernaturally Kissed. Zach is still a sweetheart and a great friend. The cops Max and Eddie are still funny and always there when you need them. One character that surprised me a lot was Tess’ best friend Caley, she has grown a lot, I really liked this new and improved Caley, I think Tess needs some lessons from her.

From the new characters I wanted to kill Dane slowly and painfully, I know he did what he did because he thought he was doing something right and that needed to be done, but I didn’t agree with his “the end justifies the means” way of doing things.
One new character I really liked was the witch Gretchen, she was really nice and understood was Tess was going through and was more than willing to help when the need arise, I really hope to see more of her in books to come.

The end is a cliffhanger-ish but not one of those throw-the-book-to-the-wall ones, it’s one that will leave you eagerly waiting for the next installment of this series, Mystically Bound.

I recommend Demonically Tempted and this series in general to all urban fantasy romance lovers who want something fun, sexy and quick to read, I also recommend reading these books in order.
I’m looking forward to this fall to the release of Mystically Bound.

As of late my head has been tightly wrapped with reading the Historical Fiction/Romance which I love so much, but when an email for this tour came to me I had to stop so I could read this series. The covers drew me in and when I read the blurb I had a feeling it was going to be a good series. Now I am a total Paranormal junkie, but to be honest I haven't really read a lot with Ghost's, it is a particularly interesting subject to me being able to talk with the spirits, mediums and so on. My father passed away 5-years ago and I'll tell you there hasn't been a day gone by I wish to hell I could see him, talk to him just one more time. So when I read the blurb for this series I had a feeling it was going to be good. What I didn't realize was that is was going to be awesome.

Tess and Kipp have to be two of the most favorite characters I have loved reading. Tess is just a normal down to earth, girl next door kinda gal, living her life, going to work, being with her friend Carley, who by the way is so funny, I liked her right away, but Tess has this ability that really only Carley knows about. She has the ability to see, hear and talk with ghosts who haven't crossed over yet, she was in a fatal car accident and after being brought back to life woke up with this ability.

Kipp McGowen, a young cop, hot, sexy, funny, kind, did I say hot.....omg this man sizzles, but there's one problem....he's a ghost who is trying desperatly to get Tess to help him. The heat the bounces between Tess and Kipp makes you need to have a cold shower after reading this book, or go make your partner/spouse a very happy person :) So Kipp the hunk needs Tess to help him find out not only who killed him but Hannah as well which is contected to Kipp's death as the story begins. This book is packed full of everything you look for in a great book, funny, shocking, mystery, a love story, sizzling sexy scenes, a fantastic plot and story line that will take you on an incredible rollercoaster ride of emotions with an ending that I DID NOT see coming. I could NOT put this book down, I read it in a day and went on to book #2 and read it in a day.

Book two picks up right where the first one ends, now you really must read them in order to understand and grasp the whole concept to fully enjoy them. The cast of characters is one you will bond with, Eddie, Max, Zach, I'd have to say Zach and Carley are so funny, they are like your best friends, you will laugh out loud at Tess with her bold attitude, she has no problem telling you like it is, she is a call em how she see's em gal, but kind, vulnerable, soft hearted. I really liked Tess she reminded me of myself lol.

This series is one you really don't want to pass by, if your looking for something new, action packed, great love story, sexy, hot as hell scenes, fantastic cast and an outstanding story, this is the series you will want to sit out on your deck in the wonderful sun or take to the beach with you. This is a huge summertime hit and I can't wait until the Fall for book #3, I will probably have withdrawls until I get the third book in my hands. Bravo Stacey Kennedy Bravo!!!! Enjoy everyone!!

Read my full review on Paromantasy

This book is a never-ending rollercoaster ride of romance, action, danger and suspense, with a cliffhanger ending that will leave you begging for more.

Our favorite ghost whisperer Tess and her ghost lover Kipp are back and this time they are taking on a demon. When ghosts start to flock to Tess for help from a dark spirit, Tess and Kipp uncover an evil unlike any other. To stop it, they must team up with Dane Wolfe, a mysterious agent with a unique talent of his own. He holds the key to helping Tess with her ghost talking abilities, but he is also up to something. With a demon to fight, murders and missing people popping up, and an agent proving to be more trouble then his worth, Kipp and Tess must fight to save innocent lives, and for each other

When everything is against you, will love truly conquer all or will it crumble under the weight?
I love, love, love this series. It is unique and only Stacey Kennedy can pull off a believable story where the heroine is human and the hero is a ghost . They have to fight for each other, while also fighting crime as Tess takes on her new role as a member of the Memphis PD. This installment proved to be an emotional rollercoaster and I cannot wait to see what happens in the next installment of the series!

Tess is as witty as ever. I love that she is so perfectly flawed and relatable. She has grown to trust her instincts and her abilities and now embraces the ghosts she once ignored. She is in no way fearless as she quakes in her boots each time she is faced with scary situations, this time with a demon, but she is courageous in that she fights her fears and does what she has to do. She doesn't have to worry to much with her ghostly lover by her side.

Kipp is the hero you would never see coming...literally since he's a ghost. Somehow Stacey Kennedy has pulled off creating a ghostly swoon-worthy hero who is fearless, charming, sexy and oozes masculinity,. He may be a ghost of a cop, but he is still on the job helping Tess as she gets the hang of how the PD operates.

Together they are on fire and the scenes between these two will have you all hot and bothered in no time flat. How does "the nasty" work when your partner is a ghost? Well, let's just say they get creative :-)

The side characters are also back and as funny and loving as ever. Some new additions are added to the mix including the ever mysterious Dane Wolfe. He also has special "abilities", and teaches Tess a few tricks to dealing with ghosts. But when he tries to come between Tess and Kipp, the unthinkable happens that changes everything. The cliffhanger ending will leave you stunned and searching for the release date for the next installment of this incredible series.

This is another heart-stopping, action-packed, sexually-charged thrill-ride of a read that will have you racing through the pages and desperately wanting more!

This second installment in Stacey Kennedy's Frostbite series picks up a few weeks after the point which Supernaturally Kissed left off. I had a hard time connecting with it right off the bat and I'm not 100% sure why. Maybe it's because everyone has settled in so much to the idea that Tess and Kipp are a couple now. For new readers, Tess is a woman who can see ghosts and Kipp is, well, a ghost. The problems with such a relationship are obvious. But Tess considers Kipp her man --and even calls him her lover-- despite the fact he's just a disembodied spirit.

Tess is part of the police force now, helping the department investigate cold cases. And again, I felt that disconnect. Yes, she proved herself in the last book, but there is no lingering doubts or skepticism or even discomfort from anybody about what she can do. It bothers me to see the ease in which everyone has come to accept her supernatural gifts --to say nothing of the boyfriend that no one else can see or hear.

Tess is working a cold case surrounding an apparent suicide, where the victim's sister is convinced there was more to it. Working with her is Dane, an FBI medium who is there to help her better understand her gift. It's obvious there is something dubious about him right off the bat. Kipp can't stand him... but with Dane's help, Tess learns there is much more to the supernatural world than she ever knew existed.

The author expands the paranormal scope of the world-building to include witches, demons, and perhaps even angels. But as much as that ups the ante, the real heart of the series is the relationship between Tess and Kipp. The two of them get put through the wringer here and it's when their angst kicks up that the story hits its stride.

I really enjoyed the second half of the book. Dane is a great love-to-hate character and I feel like there is much more to him beneath the surface. He's a total prick at times, but he gives voice to the concerns about Tess and Kipp's relationship that I thought were so noticeably absent from everyone else at the beginning. I don't like what he did, but I'm not willing to write him off, either. I found the new character Gretchen to be very interesting. And I liked the journey of personal growth that Tess goes on here. She has always considered her gift to be a curse and now she is learning that with it, she can make a real difference.

The climax of the romance arc is very good. Kennedy opens the door for a real possibility of an HEA at the same time she puts it in terrible jeopardy. And she leaves us with a great/ horrible/ wonderful/ terrible cliffhanger. I am anxiously looking forward to see what she does in the third book --and I pray we get some sex in the flesh. Fantasies can only sustain a girl for so long... 3 1/2 stars.

Jess Jennings can see ghosts, heck she talks to them and tries to help them if she can. She is now a member of the Memphis Police Department, the same department and team that her new boyfriend is part of. Yes, amazingly enough he is a ghost too. Tess’ new job is working on cold cases and her first case is a doozy. Kipp McGowen might be a ghost but he will do everything in his ability to help and protect Tess. Even when a medium is brought in to help, one that Kipp can sense is going to be trouble; however, he knows that Tess needs someone who can answer her questions. Both Kipp and Tess know that their relationship is more than unusual, yet the love is there and fierce.

Tess and the team are looking for answers in what appears to be a suicide, yet the clues are beginning to prove that this is nothing like it appears. Tess is dealing with Kipp’s sudden possessiveness and could it be, jealousy against the medium the department brought in. As answers in the case are leading Tess to discover new things about her abilities, she feels pulled by what her heart wants and what others are telling her should happen. Tess finally learns her true path just when her heart seems to be pulled from her. She might have found the answers to her cold case, but Tess’ work has just begun for Kipp and their love.

Love will need to battle against the hearts that found it with the presence that wants to end it. Tess learns people will try to force their beliefs on what she and Kipp have in Demonically Tempted. I fell for Kipp and Tess the first time I met them and this next adventure just had me falling for them harder. I thought it was great that Kipp’s department believed enough in Tess and her abilities to bring her on their cold cases team and even arranged for some help for her. Yet, I found the trouble exceeded the help that the medium brought. I enjoyed my glimpses of Tess and Kipp’s relationship and mourned for them on the twist that happened to their relationship. I loved watching Tess overcome the enemy that was hurting the ghosts needing her help. I have to say that the final cliffhanger has me pacing while waiting for the next adventure for Tess and Kipp. If you love this couple like I do, I bet you will be right beside me. Demonically Tempted has the best combo of love, suspense, magic and humor – one that gripped me from the first page until I reluctantly turned the last page.

After I finishing, I knew that I had to Joyfully Recommend this journey that Tess and Kipp found themselves on as a must read and a keeper. I know that it and the first book of their meeting, Supernaturally Kissed, will never leave my reader.

Book Review - Frostbite: Demonically Tempted by Stacey Kennedy

As I reached the final pages of "Supernaturally Kissed", the first book in Stacey Kennedy's Frostbite series, I thought I saw something in the story that was being over looked; little clues being dropped that I expected to have answered by the end of the book. Those answers didn't manifest themselves. By the end of "Demonically Tempted", the second book in the series, those clues were answered, and I was thrilled to see I was right. The answer turned out to be something important and leads into the third book of the series "Mystically Bound." (No SPOILERS, go read both books to find out what it was.)

After her experiences with the police, Tess finds herself working in their Cold Case department. What better witness can they have than to interview the victim of a murder? That's what Tess does; talk to the ghosts. So along with her ghostly hunk of a boyfriend Kipp, she helps solve crimes.

This time, Tess may have gotten into something she can't handle when the ghosts come to her because something is terrifying them. On top of that Kipp has vanished, and Tess worries that she sent him away.

"Demonically Tempted" is a fun paranormal mystery follow up to the original "Supernaturally Kissed." Though it doesn't have the same mystery, and even the ghostly erotic romance of the first, it remains an enjoyable and loving tale of a woman and the man she should never be able to have.

If there is anything that it suffers from, it's what many Act Two stories of a trilogy do. While telling the story at hand, while Tess fights to save lives and ghosts, the book sets up a lot of foundation of the book to follow. The supernatural threat here doesn't feel as dangerous as the human threat in the climax of the first book.

That said, "Demonically Tempted" and Kennedy's writing, remains to be enjoyable ride all the way through to the end even when we're told what Tess must do next and we must wait for the next book "Mystically Bound."

As I said at the start of the review, what I, myself, enjoyed the most was to discover what I had been guessing at was true. Go find out what it is.

Enjoy this book, be "Demonically Tempted"

I am so unbelievably frustrated right now! I know I only have to wait for fall to get book three in this series but honestly? That is way too long a wait! I loved this book even though my gut twisted more then once reading it and I found myself simultaneously wanting to cry and wanting to seriously hurt one of the new characters very badly and in many different ways! I really really hate Dane right now and hope Tess and Kipp never have to endure his presence again! Big shock ending as well involving Kipp which is why I'm frustrated with the ending! As such I have marked this as a spoiler so if you're still reading you have been warned!

Kipp may be a ghost but he isn't dead! It's another reason why I hate Dane so much! He really thinks/thought he knows/knew it all but he doesn't/didn't! He thought Kipp was just a ghost and refused to see him as anything more, trying to convince Tess to make him move on and rid herself of him! He did something unforgivable and Kipp disappeared because of it! Then Tess is dragged to the hospital by the others because Kipp's brother Brandon wants to take him off life support! Thing is the others never mentioned it because they thought Kipp and Tess knew that Kipp was alive and in a coma but that they didn't talk about it cause it was a taboo subject. the truth is Kipp had no idea his body was alive and therefore neither did Tess. Now he's apparently trapped in the netherworld and Tess needs to contact him, find out why he's there and drag him back to her!

Hopefully Gretchen can help her do so once she's brought Tess to meet the mysterious 'others' that were mentioned earlier in the book (again if he has any sense of self-preservation Dane will NOT be there!). I really hope she can get Kipp back and into his own body, fully alive again! I'm also kinda hoping that his being technically dead (he is on life support so he must have died and been revived then put on the life support) will mean that if/when she gets back he'll have the same abilities as her as well! It'd be great if the series can continue with them being a living team helping ghosts and using their abilities to solve cases! I really hope this will be more then a trilogy and now have a very long wait for the third book!

Mon avis en Français

My English review

After a nice first volume that introduced us to the Tess Jennings world, I was very impatient to discover this second one to learn more about her adventures. I really enjoyed the first book and this one is even better, now I confess I’m very curious to read the third one.

The story is this time more complete and the investigation is really intriguing. When, adding to that, we can meet some demons, what more can we ask for? I really enjoyed discovering the Stacey Kennedy ideas about them. Of course we will have a lot of ghosts for our pleasure as well despite I think it’s not the same thing for our heroine.

We meet here a new important character: Dane. I was immediately intrigued by this man. He is mysterious, dark, medium… I wondered at first if our heroine couldn’t feel something for him before the end of the book. This man made me a strong impression from the beginning of story; he is determined and doesn’t believe in ghosts the same way that Tess. We know that our heroine should change its way of being, but perhaps not in this way.

The witch that we discover in the story is halfway between Dane and Tess, and I must say that having learned some information about her, I would like to know more. She allows us to fill in the gaps we had about the universe of the novel and I hope with all my heart that we will find these two protagonists in the next novel.

Let's not forget Kipp, who also has a very important place here. I admit that this book reveals great things about him, things I did not expect at all. Who would have thought that? I am also curious to see what will happen to him later in the story as it should be said that this novel starts some big changes.

The end of the book is terrible, it shows us that new events will happen and I hope soon to have the opportunity to read volume 3 to learn more about all that.

After helping the police catch a murderer Tess has got a new job, her ability to see and speak to ghosts has her helping the Memphis police solve cold cases. The ghost who started it all Kipp, an ex-cop now ghost and Tess' boyfriend is helping her work with his old team.

The cold case she's on investigates an odd suicide, the case seems pretty clear cut, but with multiple ghost asking for Tess' help with a darkness invading Memphis and the FBI liaison disapproving on Tess and her choice of a lover ruffling Kipp's feathers life isn't a piece of cake.

Read Supernaturally Kissed first - this is a sequel and isn't a stand alone. :) That said, I absolutely loved Supernaturally Kissed and was rooting for Tess and Kipp to find away to be together, that didn't get solved in the first novel so I was waiting for things to clear up in Demonically Tempted - and nothing really happened on that front until the very end. Good cliffhanger but still I sort of wanted more romance, like the first book had.

The plot is very Mystery, it's a lot more detective work that the first book, there are still emotions tied in there but Tess and Kipp's relationship isn't as front and center as before - and I missed it. Luckily I also enjoy mysteries so this plot wasn't wasted on me. I liked it a lot, but being a ghost buff I immediately knew what was going on, so I was reading Tess figure out things I already knew. All the ghost business was as fun as in the first book and I happily loathed FBI Dane and his judgement of Kipp and Tess, Boo! ;)

Tess seemed more cranky in this book that in the first one, perhaps because Kipp wasn't antagonizing her as much her annoyance was bit much, but I still loved her fiery attitude and her passion and all the more calm moments alone with Kipp. Now Kipp was just as sexy as in the first novel, playful, confident (even though ghost) and the way Kennedy wrote him very much alive and a main character - he doesn't feel like a ghost even though he walks through doors and can eaves drop like no other.

In conclusion... more romance! And with how this book ended I can't wait to read Mystically Bound! It promises more romance and I'm all for that.

Demonically Tempted picks up where Supernaturally Kissed left off. Tess is still in a relationship Kipp, a hot ghost of a Memphis cop. I'm sure you are wondering how a human can have a relationship with a ghost, much less a sexual relationship with one. Well let's just say that they have to be creative.

Tess's ability to see and speak with ghosts comes in handy when trying to solve murder cases. And after Tess helped the police department solve a case in the last book, she is now on the payroll working on cold cases.

But Tess doesn't know how she power works so the head of the department, Max, enlisted the help of a medium that works with the FBI. Enter Dane, the sexy medium that can be a totally jerk. Kipp is not happy about Dane showing up but he keeps reasons from Tess which leads her to think that he is jealous of him.

But through Dane, Tess learns there are more than just ghosts out there. Like witches and demons.

While I loved the first book in the series, Supernaturally Kissed, I found that it took me about halfway through Demonically Tempted to really get into it. I think it was that DT feels like a bridge book. We need to read it to help build up to the 3rd book in the series. I think the romance was a little lacking but since Tess and Kipp are together and is strong a couple. I don't believe that romance was the main focus for this installment. Also I was missed the presence of Tess's spunky friend but she makes an appearance late in the book.

I had a major prediction about things that was going on with Kipp in the first book and I got my answer in DT. Now I have no idea where Kennedy is going to take us next in Kipp's journey. But I'm excited to find out.

Over all Demonically Tempted is an enjoyable read and if you have not checked out this series you really should. It's written very well and has some great characters and has a promising future in the story line department.
