This is a book of critiques. Critiques on the tourists, but also on the Balinese people. Critiques on how tourists simply use Bali as their holidays, but give nothing to think about how Balinese should live if they want to conserve the land and culture, but also to do well in economics. Gde also throw critiques on the Balinese whose culture is so rigid, without any flexibility towards westernization.

The only option for Balinese culture is: to hold or to lose. There has not yet been discussions on how several aspects should be maintained and several aspects should be kept.
