Wow! Saying her name while he was sleeping in the nurse's office? That's some heavy stuff (wipes brow).
Then the Plot thickens...
Is Akane trying to break them up?!

Series review: Came here after binge reading ReRe Hello, Touko Minami's other manga series (which I highly recommend)! Touko Minami writes her stories like everything and nothing is happening. Her stories are not too dramatic so it doesn't get too stressful; she doesn't drag it out and she ends it in a neat fashion. I'm not a fan of love triangles/squares but I must say that Marui and Akane are some of the finest second leads I've read in a shoujo manga in recent times. I also liked Mio's circle of friends, they weren't there just for the plot, but they were really decent source of support for Mio and they had some nice chapters throughout the series. Three stars because 1) the last story arc counts as for me (which I abhor in stories), 2) it ended too abruptly, and 3) the happy ending isn't enough to make up for the angst, hurt, and pain near the end.

I think I should probably take back all the hate from Volume 1.
Mio, the heroine is apparently not just an idiot. I love the ending where she got Marui lollipops. She's quite observant 'cause she realises that he's allergic to chocolate. That's seriously awesome when his fans did not even realise that. Ebi the bestie isn't that bad too. Unfortunately, Taki treats her like a kid sister so her hopes for him are in vain. She's better off dating Marui. Please sensei, pair those two up…I know Marui is going to star in this unrequited love with the heroine first though. It's inevitable in every shoujo. At least give him a fallback girl.

Taki is still cute and dense. I love that he does not diss the fact that he loved his ex before. He moved on and he clearly state that. In your face, woman!

Seems like the mangaka doesn't really want us to hate any of her characters. We get to see their side of things and why they're motivated to do certain things *sigh*

Forgetting that everyone has a right to do what they want is certainly easier. And hating a certain character for destroying another character's chance (which you favor more than the other) is actually the way of the world. This gives me perspective. Or should I say something that I want to ignore…. But can't.

Eppure i personaggi mi sembrano insipidi come pochi altri...

Lemme tell ya, the characters were so beautiful. The art was so amazing. But the story was weak. That's all.
