The first how-to book I read on bicycling. Very good for the novice of either sex. I highly recommend it. [NOTE: I read an earlier edition]

I read this book as more of "A n00b's guide to cycling". It was a wonderful introduction to the basics of a bike, different kinds of bikes, accessories, safety, repair, and numerous other great tips. If you don't know anything about bikes but want to get started, I recommend it whether you're a man or woman!
