I have no idea how I stumbled across this author, but I am so happy I did. This story was just that good. At first I thought the self narration would bother me, but after a short while I really started to dig Toy's side bar commentary. It was almost like when you are watching a movie, and everyone freezes and just the main character starts talking to the camera. Toy has a really quirky sense of humor, so at those times she was talking directly to us (the reader) I was really chuckling to myself. Logic, what an amazing character. This man had me from go. He was just such a caring, generous, and passionate individual. Toy and Logic together were magnetic. That has this amazing chemistry, and the sex scenes were like a 20 on a scale of 1-10. All the things that were going on in the story weren't distracting, and just kept me turning the pages. I definitely cannot wait to read more from this author.

I had this book in my bedroom and never got around to reading it. Finally, after seeing wonderful reviews, I decided to give it a chance. Big mistake. It was terrible. Zatoya and Logic were both desperate. The story line was so bizarre, and unrealistic. I really expected more just based off of the reviews alone. I've been duped :(

Okay let just start by saying Brenda Stoke Lee is doing her thing with this series. I absolutely loved it, although she almost gave me a heart attack twice. Once when Toy and Teddy were introduced....I was like OMG!! not again!! I was furious and then the situation with Tyson, I was like...I am I'm gonna have to jump in this Kindle and kick Toy's butt!! There were times when Toy was seriously stuck on stupid and needed to be shuck until her teeth rattled out of her head. Logic Hart....wow what can I say...he is some kind of man! Amazingly generous, charming, sexy and sneaky. In my opinion this an absolute MUST READ!! Okay now it time to have Teddy drop like a sack of potatoes!! I can't wait! I have been truly struggling with many of the new authors I have recently discovered, however I am proud to say the struggle is over. Ms. Brenda Lee has a new fan!! You have got to check out this series, however you must read them in order to truly love and appreciate the characters like I do. Bravo!!

I honestly am not sure.
The Bad
Different strokes for different fokes, with saying that, I just didn't like how this book was conveyed to me. I felt as though I was reading the story on super fast speed. I walked away not really liking the characters. For me it could be the choices the characters made that affect how I felt about the story as well. There was something about this particular story that had me rolling my eyes and shaking my head a lot.
Overall
This particular story is just not for me or to my liking.

My gurl Toya was a tripp glad she was able to put crazy lady away and enjoy true love. I really loved this story for Logic, I was happy too see him get the love he so deserved.

Fickle as a two cent sex worker
Lord, when I say Zatoya was as fickle as a two cent sex worker, I truly mean it, but her fickle tail held me to the very end of this story. I never, ever, knew what was going to happen next and laughed until my sides hurt. Sometimes her pretentiousness got to be too much, but if she doesn't think she's the ish, who will? So I laughed at that too. Underneath, she was damaged and looking for something like we all are. Zatoya was a very relatable character, but I would love to know if Tyson ever found the woman for him. Procrastination leads to loss. He should've told everyone how he felt from the jump, and I completely understand Toy going where she thought she'd be the happiest, even if she was back and forth. Who gets it right the first time? Brenda , I didn't know your pen was this fye. I do now.

Loved it! I hated to see my fantasy man Logic Hart go down but it was good. I have to say I really don't see it lasting because they didn't go through enough. Zatoya came off as a money grabbing, know it all, freak with one two many problems in the beginning. There relationship was instantly from meeting to marriage in the matter of a limo ride.
I really wanted to see what baggage she brought to the table with her and that she did with Jamar and Tyson. Now Jamar from jump seemed like a pretty boy with too much meat in his pants and too much bm drama. So I was okay with him but Tyson. Now that seemed like a problem that was worth fighting for. After her true relationship with him was revealed I was on the fence about letting him go. Not to mention Logic didn't give her an answer and we all know he has drama on his own.
Now with Logic being my dream husband along with the Westmoreland's, Steel's and Joseph's I can't say that I blame Zatoya or Queen. But as for Zatoya I thought I was going to lose my mind when she was with Logic and Teddy! Baby I was in my own mind fuck when I first read about the two...hell the three including Paul in my own fantasy world. LOL! That was HOTTTTTTT! Enough this was a really good story and I can say I really enjoyed it and I would really like to hear more from them all. I can see more drama coming from all these households and I hope the author takes the time to make it happen.

Bravo. Standing Ovation. I started this series less than a week ago when I stumbled on a sample of this book, A New Toy on Smashwords. I am so glad that I did. Brenda Stokes Lee, you have a awesome series that kept me reading reading reading until I got to the end. I was so in love with this entire series because you captured the raw feelings of all the characters during their highlight of the story.
I must say that, Toy's Story ws my favorite of the entire series. I was so fearful that I would not get the ending that I wanted, but I hung on.
You kept me laughing with Queen and Jada's dialogue. I was also happy that Zatoya finally got some female friends to call her own.
The guys kept the love scenes steamy and hot.
The erotic romance and mind blowing changes in the story kept me tensed and up late at night.
And oh how the very ending had me in tears...Tears of joy and tears of regret as well.
Logic Hart was my favorite of all Mye Queen's men. I so wanted him to find happiness after all that he went through.
Teddy Bear was an ultimate fantasy. He made me not want to stop reading.
Paul, dear Paul, I shall never forget his drive and love for Queen.

WOW!!! Loved it....Talk about an emotional roll-coaster. Toy , Toy, Toy ...was something else and that's putting it mildly. Toy is an attorney who on the outside looks like she has it going on...great job, great apt, great life.... that is.. until she needs help and there is NO One and I mean No One to come to her rescue. Toy is stranded after a car accident and accepts a ride from a dashing stranger, who turns her lil world upside down. No stranger danger here. Toy slowly comes to realize that she has been living a very superficial lifestyle which has lead to her dead end relationships, but what happens when that realization runs her up on a real man. Well that's what the drama is all about... Wow I was so outdone by the end of the story I was fit to be tied, I was angry at some of the decisions that she made and elated at others. I found myself cheering for her and cheering her on by the time it was over.... So would I recommend this book to others? You better believe it...

Christmas Ride
When Zatoya/Toy gets stranded because she hits a deer. She ends up in a diner where she meets Logic. He is a handsome man with a broken heart. They ended up talking and eventually offer her a ride home.
This ride changed Toy's life in so many ways. It was a roller coaster she will never forget.
I loved on of Logic's saying to Toy "lock your crazy away in a box." My favorite scene was the bachelorette party. It was wild.
Take a Christmas ride with Toy and Logic. It'll be on you never forget.
