Practical and informative, this primer guides the meditator whether experienced or novice through the basics of posture and focus to wisdom and compassion. There are many how to books on meditation but this is the best I've read. And it is all available free on line both in text and voice.

I read this during a yoga-and meditation retreat. For this it was a perfect book. I struggled with reading it in my "ordinary life". Brings an easy-to-understand summary of the some of the Buddhist teachings, suitable also for meditators who does not want to be connected to any religion.
