This is a great resource for educators who are not familiar with the fairly recently developed model of reading called the Active View. If you are familiar with the Simple View model, the last couple of chapters will be of significant interest. There are some very useful strategies and routines for teaching literacy in the elementary classroom.

Read for the teaching program but was rubbish in my honest opinion. A lot of basic and generic stuff thats common sense. Not necessarily informative or new information. Kinda garbage.
