Roses by Karen Cino is a good read. There was one thing that didn't seem realistic - or maybe I missed something - when Drake supposedly left messages at the hotel front desk instead of calling Nikki - that bugged the heck out of me, because... who does that? Why not just call the cell phone? Also, the author never did "solve" the mystery of who was picking up the messages.

Otherwise, this was a great read! I loved the storyline, and the characters were well-developed.

What a book it has its ups and downs but through it all love shone through. Nicki went to Acapulco and while there met Drake they fell in love and instead of leaving as planned she went to stay in his room and continued to enjoy each other’s company. Drake asked Nicki to marry him. Then Tony decorated the roof and they got married there. They kept it a secret for over a year before the press. We’re told. This is a must read
