I had read another book by the same author and I had enjoyed it, so I thought it would be nice to read one more, thinking it was going to be equally enjoyable. The truth is that I haven't hated the book, but it wasn't definitely as entertaining as I was expecting it to be. I should know better as to start reading any book with high expectations...
In my opinion, the characters were kind of flat and would have needed a bit more of development. Yes, they change along the story, but the change is kind of predictable, and it doesn't convey a strong emotion. I was like, "Oh, now you are like this? Meh..." and "Oh, now you have become that? Meh..." The main characters in the story fit the stereotypical idea that anybody could have about people who get involved in sub/dom relationships. I would have liked to see more complexity.
The story had potential, but it felt way too short to me. A guy who enjoys his life as a dominator until his life changes after meeting a new sub, who makes him realise how wrong he was in his relationship with his previous sub. It could have been great, but it is just meh. The writing is not bad, but it would have needed one more round of editing and proofreading. Dear authors, when you hit the publish button, the book has to be as polished and perfect as possible. I can understand one typo, but no more.

Despite a few grammar and wordiness issues, Davee has crafted a fascinating character-driven journey into a realm with which I'm pretty sure most people aren't familiar. She does it with class and clarity, and with compassion for her characters -- even when they are unsympathetic.
At heart, strange, exotic and lurid though it is, FINLESS is a story about redemption, reaffirmation, and most of all love. Well worth reading.

When I got done reading Finless I had to take a moment and breathe...... It is an compelling story with a lot of emotion. Nathaniel, Lily, and Sarah relationships are so scarred and bruised I didn't know if they was ever going to see what was right there in front of them. Then you put Isaac in the mix of all the madness. I loved it. If you have not read Finless yet, then you are missing out.

Who were the main characters here? It started of with it being Sarah and her master then it was Lily? This book was so unorganised, written terribly and seriously who the hell talks like the characters? They were so formal and fake!

I won this in a gift basket. it was a pretty good book, I guess I would rate it a B+. It was an edgy tale.
